Looking For a 1-on-1 Coach

Sorry if this is a bit of a rant, but it’s been a very frustrating morning.

For the last 3 months I’ve been working with a coach. Overall it’s been a great experience. I’ve got my squeeze page, OTO & auto responder sequence set up. Unfortunately I was just informed this morning that he’s canceling his coaching after only 3 months. It was supposed to run a year. He’s not charging me for the last 2 months (which is great) but my issue/frustration is the loss of time. This has happened to me before. “Coaches” help me with my squeeze page/OTO ect, but then bail when it comes time to testing/tweaking things to make them profitable. I feel like time is of the upmost importance. I put in the time & work. I just need a “coach” to follow through to the end.

Anyway –I don’t need/or want to start over. I thank I have a decent sales funnel set up. I just need someone to help me with traffic/tweaking. My goal is to break even on the OTO offer (assuming I’m using paid traffic) that way I’m basically building my list for free. Maybe that’s unrealistic, but I’ve heard that it’s possible. I’ll gladly pay someone for their coaching service as long as I see results (helping me get over the hump & get this profitable. Once it’s profitable, it’s just a matter of scaling it up.

Again – I don’t need someone to help me from scratch. I’ve been around this IM game for a while. I need someone to take a look at what I already have in place & make it profitable.

Out of curiosity, what kind of budget do you have for coaching services? Usually different coaches specialize in different areas and it sounds like you're on your way to product marketing and not affiliate marketing correct?

Maybe it was just the tone that you presented the offer but you stated you would gladly pay for results? Can you offer some re-assurance that you're willing to pay upfront or on a weekly basis with one upfront fee rather than paying "after" you've received results?

I can assure you that no coaches with anything to teach you of value are going to step up to the plate to take that offer.

Hi Corey,

Sorry if I was vague. Yes – I’m totally willing to pay up front, or possibility on a monthly basis. All I ask is for a coach to stick around & continue to work with me until I see results. I will uphold my end of the bargain by putting in the required work; I’m just tired of dealing with coaches who flake out on me. Again – sorry if that was unclear.

To answer your question regarding product creation vs affiliate marking. My OTO is my product. However the services I recommend via my auto responder are affiliate offers. BTW – I also believe in delivering value first. In my email follow-ups I only suggest affiliate offers after providing quality content. I’ve spent a great deal of time composing email follow-ups that are quality & not a bunch of spam.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks
Tim

Ah, alright. Sounds like you got in touch with a dirt bag who took forever to respond or just abandoned you all together, (don't worry, I've met quite a few people who do that here).

Out of curiosity, what is your initial start up budget that you're willing to pay upfront and then on a weekly basis? You don't have to post it publicly if you want, you can PM me if you'd like. I've gotten a little more free time on my hands and I'd like to discuss your current project to see if it's something I'd be a good fit for.

Just want to make sure this isn't some Blackhat project, because I'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to some of the methods they like to implement. "Cloaked Doorway Gateways" "HTML Refer Blanking Re-directs" and other miscellaneous things they like to do.
