I received a review copy of Richards ebook and found it to be a good source for going over some basic principles of market research.

In my opinion it's strongest value is in (profitable) niche finding, because along with how to choose a niche he gives tips on how to know your prospects key pain and motivations - and how to find what felt needs they have and would be willing to pay for to have resolved.

To be sure you're on the right track he gives you a list of 10 questions that will help you identify whether or not a niche will be profitable. (Questions 9 & 10 are the clinchers).

This is an excellent resource to keep by your side when doing research - not just for FB either.

Overall, the content is pretty good information. The one thing he could do to make this a LOT stronger (IMHO) is giving more detail on how to get fans and put together campaigns. There's a lot of what to do but not much on how to do it. Of course it's only a 21 pg pdf so maybe it's already exactly what he wants. It would take more time and lead to a larger book to cover how, but I think it might be worth it. It would definitely enhance what's already there.
