Hi,

I run a computer repair company in Australia and I'm looking to offer web design for my customers but don't have the necessary skills or time to learn!

I'm looking for someone I can use regularly to create designs for my customers. It will mostly be web design but also occasionally logos/email signatures and similar designs. The work will vary depending on the client, I currently have a handful of potential web design jobs in the pipeline with more in the near future I hope.

I am basically looking for simple and clean websites, yet professional looking. I am quite happy with templated websites as long as the look is professional and clean. Most sites will be between 3-5 pages.

The most important things to me are:

-Price: I need to resell this to my customers so the price must be very competitive
-Communication: reasonable response time from my queries and good understanding of my customers needs
-Professional: you will be dealing directly with me and NOT my customers, I expect all communication to stay between us directly and NO contact with my customers directly
-Marketing: you will need the skills to drive search results and traffic to the sites we create
-Design: Great design skills!

I would recommend you reading up on web design or web programming and have at the minimum some basic knowledge of it before reselling it to your clients. Always remember reselling puts you entirely at the hands of the designer/programmer you employ, so it always makes good business sense to split up projects and send it to two or more sub contractors. This way you will achieve redundancy and your reputation will never take a beating even if some designer/programmer ditches the project half way.
