I have hesitated a little bit before writing this review... Because it may make it a little more difficult to get what we want (see the end of this review). But in the end, I decided it was more important to express my opinion and let other people know.

So, let's set up the background first.
We are two partners currently working on a rather new website (the domain is about 6 months old). We saw this offer as an opportunity to establish a few first backlinks.

Here is what we were sold - and I have added screenshots below in case the thread changes:

• Manually written articles on web 2.0 websites - 30 of them. With links of course.
• A guarantee to reach page 1 on Google.
• A guarantee we would get "good results" with our 30 articles.
• Delivery in 4 to 7 days, most often in 3.

Now that we know what we were offered, let's see what we got...

I'll start with delivery delays. So, 7 days maximum and "most of the time less than 3 days".

Delivery: 03/25/2014

Total: 14 days.

Of course I've been told they don't work on week-ends. Guess what? In that case you don't write "7 days". You write "7 working days". The way it was written to me these are 7 calendar days. And it took them twice the time.

However... To be honest... This is just a detail. I could even have simply ignored this. I would have, if there wasn't other problems.

Now let's examine exactly what was delivered...

Do we have 30 articles on various web 2.0 websites with links pointing to our website, and using the keywords we asked for? Definitely, yes.

Have these articles been hand-written? You tell me, here's one of them:


Hand written?
At first I thought so, but that they had been written by someone with very poor English knowledge and writing skills. I mean, no structure, bad grammar in places, unfinished sentences... And all the 30 articles look like this.
Now I'd rather think they've been spun.
I'll let you make your own opinion...

Spun or not spun the quality of these articles is horribly low. And it's no secret the strengh of a link depends partially on the quality of the content it comes with. So I doubt these would be any good. Most of them still haven't been picked up by Google by the way... And I don't think they ever will be. Because they're crap. If Google ignores them then the links are useless.

One thing I can tell you also, is that we do not want that kind of garbage attached to our name. So since we have access to them in theory (I haven't tried yet) we're going to delete them. But one thing at a time... I'm not finished here.

What about the actual results?
Because if this could bring real results I could change my mind about vistha82's work... Even if we don't reach page 1 and I've told him this a couple of times after ordering, I would have been happy with an improvement in our rankings. Unfortunately, two weeks after the links were created... We're nowhere to be found in the first 30 pages on Google, on the keywords we had chosen. See this test done today...

I was recently told by PM that it is normal and that I should not expect a new website to rank with so few links and I should order more...

Well. I'm telling you your sales page says page 1 guaranteed. Guess what? The excuses you pull off don't matter. This is what you sold us. It's not up to the client to interpret what the seller sells him.

Vistha82 had no problem whatsoever taking our money in the first place while assuring us we "would get good results". See the evidence above. Now I'm told I shouldn't expect results and he even tried to make me look like an idiot... Telling me there are other factors and I should take care of my on-site SEO first... Tough luck, this isn't my first barbecue and although getting good quality backlinks isn't one of my strengths, I know my on-site SEO is rather good even though it's not perfect.

Conclusion: to me it looks like Vistha82 made promises in order to sell his services, promises that he couldn't hold and he's now trying to put the responsibility on me after selling me something he couldn't deliver.

I warned him I was very unhappy. This was several days ago. I was hoping the idea of offering to refund our $150 and deleting those spun articles himself would come from him. It did not.

Conclusion, we will be opening a PayPal dispute today and letting PayPal decide. Even if it takes 6 months. We've got all the evidence we need. Is there a risk Vistha82 would ignore the dispute and make things last? Yes. Would this be a problem to us? Yes, a little bit, as this is a budget we could use elsewhere. However we consider it is more important to let people know of our experience. Not posting the review would not guarantee us a refund anyway.

Thanks for taking the time to document your results, I've been looking for a new 2.0 supplier as my current guy can't keep up with the volume I require, and I looked at Vistha's other thread where you pointed here. Warriors keep looking out for each other, and we'll keep sellers like this from scamming us.
