Reed was kind enough to provide me with a review copy of this product.

"How to Build Your First List" is a video presentation (2.5 hours!) that takes you step-by-step on how to build your very first list. This product is really a package of materials as you also get a full pdf transcript of the recording as well as a pdf of the slides presented and also a full checklist of the steps outlined and needed to build your first list. This is a very detailed presentation (as you can see from the above) from one of the top internet marketers out there today.

This is one of the most detail oriented products on list building that I have come across. Nothing is left out here. Reed goes through all of the steps needed to get started building your list from absolute zero - nothing is assumed or left out. After going through this presentation, I have no doubt that anyone (no matter what their experience level) could do this. In fact, I am going to give this product to my wife as she has always wanted to get started with internet marketing but has absolutely no experience - this is literally the perfect course for her.

There are a lot of gems here. Reed gives you a complete breakdown of all of the tools and resources that you would ever need to not only build a list but to actually build a thriving online business. Reed also breaks down all of the steps that you will take to build your list and he does so in fine detail. He doesn't just tell you to build a squeeze page, he tells you how to do it, what it should look like, and what tools to use. And he does this with all of the steps you will be taking so he is literally taking you by the hand and giving you everything you need here - again nothing is left out (like so many other products out there that don't give you enough information to actually make the product or technique work).

For me, probably the best part of this course is the discussion and coverage on traffic. Traffic is so important to any list building effort (or any online venture for that matter). Traffic can also be very confusing because there are just so many options and you simply can't be an expert in every single one. Well, with this course, you don't need to worry because Reed tells you the EXACT traffic techniques to focus on - that is HUGE! He gets your list building system set up and then he shows you exactly how to get the traffic to it to build the list really quickly and effectively. He gives the exact traffic methods to focus all of your effort on so that you don't waste time with traffic methods that won't work.

If you have been involved in any way with internet marketing for more than 2 minutes, than you will have heard of and know about Reed Floren. His reputation (which is superb) has been built upon putting out exceptional quality products and overdelivering to his customers every single time - I know because I am pretty sure I have just about every single one of his products! This product is no exception. You are getting taught by one of the best in the business and he is taking his years of experience and breaking it down into a simple step-by-step process to build your very first list quickly and effectively.

After reviewing this course, this is the course that I wish I had when I first got started in IM. It could have saved me so much time and effort wasted struggling with ineffective techniques and traffic strategies that just don't work. If you are new to internet marketing or you are just getting started with building your list, then this product is an absolute MUST HAVE. The only other thing that I can say about this product is just to buy it right now!

Re: [Reviewers wanted] How to Build Your First List

Full disclosure: I received a review copy of this course. This is the first of an 8 part series for a course in list building. The focus of the course is based on sending prospects to your offers through ads and find out what are the best products to promote to get the best conversions.

Reed Floren is definitely a class act. You can see that he has a sincere desire to help you succeed and he’s even willing to be your accountability partner so that you get the most out of this course. The course is taught in seminar style, it includes the main seminar for the module, the PowerPoint pdf, a transcript and checklist. The transcript is a rare addition, since most marketers out there will only provide the PowerPoint and he seminar.

With this first module, Reed builds the foundation for all the other modules to come. He impresses upon you from the beginning that this is about building a business, not a bunch of tips on how to make money.

He talks about and recommends the various tools you need to create one of the most important tools that you’re going to need to create you list: the squeeze page. There’s a lot of good information on tools and processes that you can apply creating a squeeze page. Even if you have no experience building a squeeze page before, Reed directs to what are the best tools to do this quickly and easily.

In addition, to set things up for the next modules and make sure that everything goes smoothly, he also recommends all the organizations you’ll need to join, like JVZoo, Facebook and safe-swaps.com, so that when the time comes for the other modules, you’ll be all set to act upon what he teaches right away, since many of these organizations are going to play an important role in your list building process.

Once he has shown you that part, then he explains the importance of having a list, what it is and why it’s beneficial for you to have a list. To actually execute you’ll need all other 8 modules, but he’s setting the stage so when you get there, you’ll be ready and it won’t come as a surprise to you.

Everything you learn here is based on the most time tested methods in internet marketing that are guaranteed to succeed. But they are taught well and with experience. Reed is a guy who’s been around the block with this, and brings a lot of experience to the table. As a result, he believes in today’s environment it is more advantageous to build your list through ads than through SEO. Once you have your list, Reed shows you how to maintain it, keep it and have it flourish with additional emails and free services you can offer.

Although there have been a lot of courses out there on how to build and email lists, I think that this one sets itself apart in a couple of ways. First it is detailed and it is also newbie friendly. However, experienced people can still learn a thing or two. In addition, Reed makes himself available through the course, either through email, phone, Skype or facebook. All for the price of the course. That’s rare nowadays.

So, if you’re a newbie, and want to learn this process, I would definitely recommend this course as one that’s going to put you on the path to success, taught by someone who’s there himself. For those that may need a refresher, or want to venture into a different part of internet marketing, I’m sure that there is material there that will help you as well. So, if this part one is any indication, I think that the rest of the course is going to be great. Definitely something to strongly consider getting.

Hi Reed,

I've been in IM for a couple of years but have not gotten around to building my own list, unfortunately.

I finally figured that IT IS what brings in the $$$.

Now, I am ready to build my first list.

I hope to be able to review your offer.

Thanks.
