I'm looking for a web copy specialist who can take a like of keywords and optimize text for readability and for SEO purposes. Please respond in ways your would optimize the web page using provided keywords.

My first assignment would be a revision, not a complete rewrite of a few website pages.

Assuming that each page is written for a unique and specific topic, and assuming you can tell me what your chosen primary keyword/phrase for each of the pages is, and assuming you have also included secondary or long-tail keywords/phrases that support each primary keyword/phrase, I would do the following:

Write Title and Description Meta Tags which include the primary keyword/phrase (placed preferably near the beginning of the text in each tag)

Analyze the text content on the page to determine:

1. If heading and sub-headings in the text include your chosen keywords/phrases, and re-write (or create if necessary) them to include those keywords/phrases.

2. I would ideally like to see the primary keyword/phrase be used in:

  • The first sentence of the first paragraph and if possible, near the beginning of that first sentence.
  • Midway into the text in a different paragraph.
  • In the last paragraph on the page and ideally near the beginning of the first sentence of that last paragraph.

3. Secondary Keywords/phrases (long tail) can then be added by re-working the wording of the text content throughout.

4. Some SEO people maintain that optimizing images by including a keyword in 'image alt text' is no longer a valid concern, but I still like to maintain that practice regardless.

5. The overall text content needs to be checked and re-checked to ensure it 'reads' fluidly for people, and is interesting/entertaining at the same time.

Write content for people first and search engines second.

Anyway . . . that's my two cents
