I am willing to try out your new software and give you an honest review. I have a 32 bit windows 7 operating system and my monitor is 17" from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. I hope that is big enough.

I will like to help test the software. I am a mobile website creator. But, let me give you a little hint here. Why not develop another version that is plugin as well or web based software (where the clients can log in, make the mockup, save it in their server or USB simultaneously. Just a thought.

I initially considered developing this as web-based software, but there are features which are central to Mobile Mockup Pro's functionality, that are difficult to implement in a web-based environment, yet easy to do in a desktop environment (taking screenshots and color samples from an external website, for example).

There are pros and cons to both web-based and desktop though, so I may offer something similar in a web-based environment in the future... but for now I'm focusing on the desktop for this particular app.

Thanks for your feedback though!

My tag pretty much tells you I am a true Warrior on Mobile. I am member on Brick and Mobile and have run most of Squeeze Mobi products through paces as well as sharpening my talons on Warrior Will's My Mobile Business and Minute Mobile Mockup WP Plugin. Since I regularly present mobile site offers I need please for this to be consistently available to my clients once it is started up. Do you have your own redirect script?

Hi there,

Not sure what you mean by "consistently available", as this is a downloadable software program - so once you have it on your computer, it's yours to keep forever. :)

But just to be clear... this version of Mobile Mockup Pro does not create actual mobile websites -- it simply creates screenshots (images) of mobile sites.

That said, the overwhelming request that I'm hearing from my beta testers so far is they really wished that this created real mobile sites. So I may postpone the release until that feature is ready (I've actually been working on that functionality for a while now, but to be honest with you it still needs more tweaking & testing before it's ready for "prime time").

Thanks for your feedback.

Re: [Beta Testers Wanted] for Mobile Website Mockup Creation Software

Amazing how many rabbit holes open up when you jump into a project huh? There is a place in the market for a Mobile builder that is light and fast. The Minute Mobile Mockup is only meant to make introductory mobile sites that actually work but they are hosted on one of my sub-domains that holds the program. I know some code and know how to use all the features of Filezilla so I make the site on the Mockup builder and populate them with content. Then I use Filezilla to download the pages and upload them to the client site with redirect code. But if a consultant does not know code and the client wants an edit or update done, then the consultant is stuck.
If I were part of your design team and knowing what I do about the other builders I would take Minute Mobile Mockup up the next level and make a builder that has
  1. preset pages for different niches to add to the mockup build
  2. Click to call as default and option to remove if desired
  3. Wisiwyg editor to populate page content
  4. Export function to package the files to upload by filezilla
  5. Clear redirect code to tell search engines what device is used
Before Minute Mobile Mockup I used My Mobile Business from WillR With it I used an editor for my laptop called Coffee Cup It is free to use and wicked fast to do edits. It also bypasses filezilla and uploads edits directly when set up correctly. Do you already have Minute Mobile Mockup? I can give you access to my installation if you want to look around some.

If I did not already have my war room full of mobile builder tools then your screenshot tool would be a great tool to prospect clients
