I have about 10 review copies so I have to give priority to those who meet all the criteria I listed. For everyone else I appreciate the interest, but you will have to wait to see what happens

I just received a link to the tutorials and opened the first file called wordpressintro.mp4. It was very hard to listen to it because the quality of the audio was very bad and I do have an excellent USD100 sound card. I also have a ton of videos about WP and other related topics on my HD but not a single file is with such a bad quality. This alone is enough for me to dump your file into the recycle bin in irritation. If all of your files are like this one, I would have to have my ears examined by a doctor at the end of the course. I refuse to continue with the review for the aforementioned reason. My health is worth more!

The video course covers every aspect of WordPress installation.Damielle has also provided with some worthy plugins for free. The detailed guide for theme selection and the list of themes is amazing. This course is helpful for any beginner and some parts of the course seems a steal for experts too. Apart from WordPress guides, the programs got some useful links you would need got domain registration, hosting and newsletters. Overall this guide could spoon-feed every WordPress or website beginner.

Disclosure : I did receive a review copy of this product. I've been setting up Wordpress sites for eight years now, so I've got some considerable experience in this area. I wanted to review this WSO to see if it was teaching the same things I would be teaching if I was going to show people how to use this CMS. I do believe that anyone using Wordpress for the first time, with absolutely no knowledge or experience, would be able to follow along with these videos and get their first site installed without complication. I recommend installing Wordpress properly through FTP, rather than using one click installs, and FTP is covered in detail in these videos. The FTP client used is the one I have used myself for eight years, and the one I recommend. I was especially keen to see whether the product creator would leave any dangerous holes in the installation, creating an increased hacking risk. I'm pleased to say he didn't, and one of the most important points is never to use “admin” as the Wordpress user name. So many lazy users using one click install gimmicks fall into this trap. There have been bots created by hackers which target blogs using “admin” as the user name, so the simple act of using something else will increase your security dramatically. This is a comprehensive product, covering page and post creation, menu settings, plugins, themes, widgets, video and media integration and display options. I can't think of anything which has been left out which needed to be included. Even a beginner should be able to get their site online quickly, provided they don't choose an overly-complicated theme or try to do too much too soon. In addition to the Wordpress tutorials, there are links to free themes which can give your site a professional look right from the start. There is a good variety, with some photography themes, some business themes, and some which would suit a content based site. Any downsides? Well, I recommend watching these videos in VLC Media Player and using the 'faster' option, as this will get you through them more quickly without losing comprehension. On the other hand, I'm experienced with Wordpress so maybe a newbie would want them running at actual speed. Your choice. The only slight negative is that each zip file download contains five videos, and they are all named and not numbered. That means that they display in alphabetical order, and you have no idea which you are supposed to watch first. It would be much better if they were named “1 – Name”, and “2 – Name” etc., so they were displayed in watching order. That said, it is possible to guess which subject you need next, and you will usually be right. All in all, it is an excellent product which will cut the learning curve dramatically if you are new to Wordpress and want to get a quick start. EDIT – Just seen the post above. I didn't have any issues with sound quality. |

Here is my review of WP Video Sidekick. The WP Video Sidekick includes 29 videos*, plugins, themes and resources. Its basically every thing required for setting up website. The navigation of product page is simple and easy. The core feature of this product are the excellent tutorial videos which are newbie friendly. What you learn and understand from these videos can be easily implemented. 3 Plugins and Premium themes are also provided to make the process of creating website easy and less time-consuming. Lastly Hosting, Domain registration and other resources are included in this product. *I got confused about the videos number. The module 1-6 has 29 videos and bulk downloads show 34 videos. The following videos are not in modules: wordpressintro in 5zip file----installthemezip, installthemerepository in 20zip----themesettings, pluginfromzip, pluginfromrepository in 25zip. I could not find Add Video included in module 3 in bulk downloads Overall this is a excellent product. Thank you for providing the opportunity. |

I checked on this and you're right, I completely left out the links to the module about themes and plugins. I have updated this and they can be viewed now. That's why reviews are so important. Thanks.

Review; This is a nice learning package, which covers aspects from how to Install WordPress With FTP, through to adding pages, posting, adding images and videos. Also you'll learn basic security tips, backups and ideas as well as how to install and change themes & plug-ins. There are a total of 7 modules, each with an average of 5 videos included. Okay the videos aren't the best quality, ( this has been made on a budget ) but then again, I wasn't expecting an all singing, all dancing , special effects filled video series. What you do get is good, easy to follow information. Damielle has produced a good product here, that will greatly help anyone who doesn't want to outsource their WP work. |

I also got a chance to review it and watched almost all videos. As a wordpress expert I highly recommend it for wordpress beginners. Normally after every project completion I do complete setup for my client which takes a lot of time. Now I hopefully can refer this detailed video guide WSO to my clients. http://www.warriorforum.com/warriors...r-service.html |

Damielle You have produced a through tutorial that will take anyone through all the fundamentals of Wordpress. I received a review copy and was able provide my feedback which improved download times. Wordpress is fundamental these days and this video series will help you get a solid grasp on it. Like others have said i downloaded them and played them in VLC media play with the speed at 150% which improved the viewing experience. All in all if you want to learn the fundamentals of Wordpress I would recommend this product |
