REAL PROBLEM WITH ICONLEAD

Hi Abhijit,

I purchased the main product and the OTO but there is a real issue regarding the embed code.

They say that using the embed code that we can simply add the our images to any page that accepts embed code and that would have been fine if it works - BUT THE EMBED CODE DOESN'T WORK!

I tried it on several different sites (both HTML and Wordpress) and also on different servers (including Hostgator) and the embed code just doesn't work.

I opened a ticket 5 days ago and they asked me to show them the web page that has the issue. I supplied them with it but they have since ignored that reply plus two further tickets I had to open about it.

I get the feeling that I'm going to have to request a refund.

At the moment, IconLead only works by using their iFrame code and this is quite time consuming as we have to mess about with sizing and re-sizing it in order to get it near to how we want it to display - plus I have to add their code into 'word-wrap' code (like I do for Adsense) in order to position it.

I also found that it's not possible to just add our own URLs but instead - we have to mess about with using the HTML feature. This doesn't allow for the Icon to directly OPEN in our URLs but we have to then click on the link after first clicking on the icon.

Their support at this time is NON-EXISTENT!

PS: Is there any chance you can find out if Lee is going to get this fixed or not? Thanks!

I Requested a Refund from Icon Leads 3 days agaio and still no answers from them for my refund.

I too have identified that the product/service does not work as described/demonstarated - 4 linkage problems - 4 tickets - unanwered 6 days and counting. The seller Lee Pennington seems to be one of those "churn and burn" specialists hey with over 1,000 sales he sure conned a lot of people with his smoke and mirrors - and now he has another 1,000 email address to "affiliate spam market" all of the reciprocal mailing that he promises his JV's

I notice the promoter here has said he contacted Lee and will update this post - his silence says it all to me - Lee Pennington is not to be trusted or believed.

I too have requested a refund for both the main and the lead and if based on the responses to date this too is ignored - I will do a chargeback - maybe when PayPal starts questioning him he may get his just karma misleading customers

I will be interesting to see if he honours his "60 day Guarantee - no questions asked and the double your money back"

However based on my experience to date with Lee this too will not be honoured

I got the initial offer from Cyril Jeet.

When I emailed him regarding Lee Pennington and his total lack of support - the email came back as "Delivery Status Notification Failure".

No bonuses from Cyril Jeet either! When I clicked on his link for them it takes me to their zendesk support - or rather "NO SUPPORT".

"Lee Pennington and Cyril Jeet" may be two IMers that I'll avoid in the future.

It very disappointing, as this application has great potential but with ZERO support - I would not trust this to work after the money-back guarantee period is over.

The very fact that Abhijit hasn't commented on our posts leads me to believe that this product may have already been abandoned! - I Hope Not!

If they will not reply to us, then personally, I don't think we're likely to get our money back from Lee Pennington or his affiliates!

Update: Their support has now replied - and the embed code is now working fine!
