While 13.4% were made on the tablets and the Smartphone’s commanded 9.1%.

In another study conducted by SalesFlury on apps on the behavior of shoppers, it was found that the apps that were dedicated to shopping during the 2014 holiday season were more compared to apps dedicated for other purposes. Apps on lifestyle and shopping categories grew by 174%. This is more than the 76 % average growth from other categories. The study found out that Smartphone user browse shopping apps when they are commuting and when enjoying their lunch break. It was also observed that mobile shopping increases as from 8pm when most people are in their homes.

From this discussion, it is clear that the mobile platform is becoming popular because it allows shoppers to easily download and use the apps even though there are problems when it comes to retention. The retention problem implies that most of the shoppers are not satisfied with the experience offered by the shopping apps. The problem is more acute with the retailer’s mobile websites. One of the reasons that make people prefer shopping on mobile platform is that it is convenient and enables one to learn more about the product and compare its prices. Most Smartphone owners will download shopping apps and browse through the online stores when they are idle or have some free time. These are the same people who make purchases on PC. The Smartphone’s are thus used to learn and compare the shopping options available but not as a tool for making purchases.

The problem with the mobile platform is that retailers fail to provide the shoppers with some positive experience. Similarly, there are plenty of websites that are not easy to use and don’t offer safe payment options to the shoppers. Such websites may not be adapted to the needs of the clients and will obviously send the potential clients to their competitors. As a marketer, more resources should be put into developing a mobile marketing strategy that is efficient because the mobile platform is generating interest for products that were easily picked from the stores. If one adopts the right mobile marketing campaigns, chances are that it could generate more sales from the platform. According to the 2014 holiday season statistics, shoppers are set to shop using the Smartphone’s and tablets. To encourage them, the retailers are supposed to provide people with some good shopping experience on the mobile platform.

Redesigning an Ad Supported Mobile Website

Ads remain the best method that can help people increase the profitability of their sites whether it is a blog or a mobile webpage. Unfortunately, displaying ads on your content will not yield the desired results unless you do the right things that can make them more viewable. According to the columnist Rob Rasko published article on different strategies one can employ when redesigning his mobile website, the website must be redesigned with the mobile platform in mind so that the ads can become more noticeable and receive more clicks. You also need to find an ad server that can adapt to a variety of the environment and which will give you more options of making money. The videos, images, texts, and the podcast created for the desktop might not be easily accessed on the mobile devices. Ensure that you create a rich media that is easily accessible on Smartphones and tablets. This can be done by launching a mobile app and a mobile website.

Tip 5: Before The Webinar Have Attendees Ask Questions

One way to make sure you provide you attendees with the information they are looking for is to give them the opportunity to ask questions prior to the webinar. Email them before your event, or even send out some videos ahead of time, and ask them to send in their questions. Take the questions and answer the most important ones. This will help to eliminate some of the questions and resistance that people often have. You can also go through some of these questions after your presentation is over to ensure everything has been explained thoroughly.

Tip 6: Offer Something Valuable Instead Of Merely A Sales Pitch

You want to offer valuable information that relates to what you are offering in your webinar rather than just delivering a sales pitch.
