How Facebook Accounted For 75% of Global Social Ad Spending In 2014

Over the years, there has been rapid growth in the virtual social community, as users have had cheap internet become available to them and technology has continued to develop. Many people all over the world have Facebook accounts. The virtual social media platform is used for both socializing and business purposes. Facebook has been completely transformed from an application structured in a dorm room to a global social platform.

Currently, many advertising agencies and companies use Facebook advertising to reach massive numbers of individuals who access this social platform every day. The site has immense online traffic and provides a great deal of exposure to any product that is advertised on it. This results in featured advertisements being fairly expensive.

In 2014, Facebook grabbed 75% of total global income for social ads. A majority of companies and individuals prefer to use Facebook advertising because its guarantees positive results in terms of selling products. Many entrepreneurs focus on expansion and high sales, which are fueled by successful Facebook advertising. It was possible to pull off even without having the gigantic China market, which is a huge part of the world's overall market. The statistics show that the massive network of the social platform excludes China. The statistics and reports were derived by Boston-based analysts and underwent careful scrutiny and thorough analysis as the figures relate to the company.

In terms of spending money within the digital advertising industry, the United Kingdom spent the second highest amount. In terms of social media advertising the United Kingdom also had the second highest number of users. The statistics were for 2014, and projections for 2015 indicate similar trends with an over slight rate of growth.

In conclusion, the social media advertising platform that is the most preferred is, by far and away, Facebook. It is because of the massive amount of users which participate on the website every day. This allows advertisers a very large number of individuals when placing an advertisement on the site, which gives Facebook bargaining power in terms of being able to charge high advertising fees.

Around 10% Of Brand Related Tweets Appearing On Twitter Are Spam

Twitter is among the most popular of the world's social media platforms. Millions of people all over the world use it. Twitter is very popular with people wanting to share information back and forth, as well as those who want to market their products. For a long time many people have believed that Twitter is really good for having conversations. However, only 90% of all that is shared on this social media network really is legitimate. However, some kind of script that could filter these accounts out as they are being made, or right after sending their first spam, could help eliminate the problem. Advancement in technology make it more and more feasibly to detect spam and the accounts that relate to them. A resolution could very well be made, but it's probably not going to happen for a couple of years. At some point, hopefully it will eliminate the problem, since it makes it a lot less enjoyable when trying to participate on Twitter.
