------
Speed Blogging is a brand new tool that allows you to quickly blog and post content faster and easier, allowing you to quickly increase your exposure. In addition to my Speed Blogging review, I'm also including some helpful information on Content Marketing,Twitter and Facebook news articles below:

Five Reasons Content Marketing is Taking Over From Native Advertising

HubSpot recently published its “State of Inbound” report for 2014 – 2015, and the findings were quite interesting. The report shows that the companies which enjoy the highest ROIs are the ones that have focused on blogging, content amplification and organic search rather than native advertising. And now Speed Blogging users can take advantage of this trend.

Google Trends shows that marketers are becoming more and more interests in those three avenues of revenue generation, and the expense of native advertising, and that as this has happened interest in blog content creation, growing your organic presence online, and content distribution has increased, as these become the lifeblood of many marketing agencies.

High Authority Promotion

Most content marketing agencies focus on data-driven campaigns these days, and those campaigns are ideal for earning high-authority coverage and Speed Blogging members can take advantage of rapid blogging as well. However, those publishers have started to focus on offering their own content creation services and native advertising, and this poses some interesting questions about those approaches.

Native Advertising and Content Marketing

The key data points that we should be focusing on when comparing content marketing and native advertising are Goals, Channels, KPIs, Challenges and Benefits.

One of the key goals for both forms of marketing is raising brand awareness, but where native advertising focuses on social engagement, content marketing tends to be more in the area of boosting search rankings and improving conversions, so you can see this is right in line with the goals of the new Speed Blogging tool.

Fractl and Moz teamed up to survey 30 different agencies to investigate the drivers behind, and the differences between native advertising and content marketing, and the information that they collected was quite interesting. There were five particular data points that they found especially important:

1 – Content Marketing Is Better than Native Ads for Boosting Organic Rankings
Content marketing can increase your SEO value, and help to boost organic traffic, while native advertising is a much more temporary. Almost half of the clients that took part in the survey said that they measure the success of their content marketing through the number of leads and links that they generate, as well as the social shares that come from the campaign.

You can track the performance of content marketing through an improvement in organic rankings, and the building of a high-quality portfolio of links, but native advertising is different in that it produces a finite number of links, and those links will not pass Page Rank, so you can see how this is inferior to using tools like Speed Blogging to syndicate content.

2 – Top Tier Publishers Want Articles and Infographics

Fractl asked 500 top-tier publishers what they were interested in, and 60 percent of them responded saying that articles and data visualisations were the most appealing content for them.

3 – Content Marketing Secures The Most Links

Native advertising campaigns tend to secure just one link per campaign – the link from the company or publication that the advertiser purchased the campaign with. Content marketing, on the other hand, can secure an average of 27 links per campaign, and far more social shares too. This makes content marketing potentially far more effective in terms of the total reach and Speed Member users can achieve similar types of results faster.

4 – Content Marketing Requires a Monthly Retainer

The downside, however, is that if you want to take advantage of that massive reach you will need to pay for it. Most (around 70 percent) content marketing agencies charge a monthly retainer for their services, with the retainer ranging from just one thousand dollars all the way up to $100,000.

The bigger your budget, naturally, the larger the scope of the campaign you will be able to go for. However, it’s better to invest in a long-term, small scale campaign than it is to opt for a shorter campaign and then give up on your marketing efforts. Content marketing performs best when it is a sustained and consistent endeavor, which is why the Speed Blogging tool was created in an intuitive platform to make blogging as easy as possible.

A simple, one-off press release sent to several newswires could cost very little, but for that release you would get only a small amount of interest and engagement. A longer campaign that focuses on user sentiment relating to your products could cost more, but will offer a much more significant ROI.

5 – Native Advertising Costs a Lot Too

Native advertising campaigns can cost a lot of money if you want to run them with one of the top-tier publishers. For example, brands like BuzzFeed and ArsTechnica charge more than $50,000 (in some cases a campaign can require a six figure budget) for their campaigns. You will reach a high quality, large audience with those advertisers, but the return would most likely be greater if you spent the equivalent on a longer-term campaign. So you can see why using powerful and inexpensive tools like Speed Blogging makes a lot of sense.

The most expensive publishers are the ones that have a domain authority of 80 or greater. Those with a domain authority that is less than 80 cost far less than the bigger sites, with campaigns ranging from $10 up to $20,000 – which is far more affordable for a small business.

This is a part of the reason why native advertising remains relevant in so many niches – if an advertiser is interested in reaching a targeted audience in a fairly narrow niche, it makes sense for them to focus on a lower domain authority site that is still popular within that niche – they will get targeted traffic for a fairly low price, and can back up that short term campaign with content marketing on other sites. There is no one marketing strategy that is vastly superior to all others, and the most successful marketers are the ones that understand this and that focus on reaching people through every avenue that they can think of.

Twitter Partners With DoubleClick and Announces TellApart Acquisition

While Twitter failed to achieve the predictions that analysts had made for its 2015 earnings, the company did announce two exciting pieces of news in its latest reports. The social media platform is acquiring TellApart, and has formed a partnership with DoubleClick. These moves will help the company to better measure the performance of its advertising services and Speed Blogging users can quickly blog about these performance results.

DoubleClick is owned by Google, and this partnership will allow advertisers who are operating on the Twitter platform to purchase promoted Tweets using the DoubleClick Bid Manager platform. This is important because it will offer advertisers greater insights into the performance of their campaigns, and empower them to track conversions more effectively.

Advertising occurs in many forms on Twitter, but there is not an easy way to visualize the impact of the advertising that is done on the platform. Through this new partnership, advertisers will be able to more closely analyze their return on investment and will be better able to manage their campaigns to improve their performance. The results of the partnership should come into effect, in terms of improved features on the platform, later this year. Also realize that Speed Blogging users can blog about these types of Twitter updates with just a click.

Ameet Ranadive, Senior Director of Product Management for the Twitter social network, explained that the platform is accessed using a wide range of devices, apps and platforms, and that it is hard for existing tools to take this fluidity of user preferences and habits into account.

The site wants to offer new measurement models that would clearly show the path that users take when they convert content across different platforms and devices. Traditional attribution methods are not effective for measuring ROI in such complex use cases, but DoubleClick's platform is far superior, just as the Speed Blogging platform is far superior to manual blogging.

Twitter will give advertisers insights not just into clicks and retweets, but other longer-term action. the partnership will help advertisers to understand how user actions relate to conversions so that they can hone their campaigns and improve their ROI overall, rather than just focusing on the limited data that is available from the on-site engagement information. This broader view will be invaluable for helping advertisers to create campaigns that have a true impact on their bottom line.

In addition to this partnership, twitter has also made an important acquisition in the form of the marketing technology company, TellApart. Again, this company should offer some major benefits to advertisers. The company specializes in retargeting, and offers services for ecommerce companies, retailers and other businesses who want to remarket dynamic product ads or use email marketing, or they can even use the Speed Blogging platform to reach their audience as well.

TellApart's client list includes WayFair, Sur la Table, Neiman Marcus and the Pottery Barn. Twitter made the decision to go for the acquisition in order to improve their direct response capabilities, and to broaden the advertising opportunities that are available on the website. TellApart has more than six years of experience in the advertising market.

Kevin Veil, the Senior Vice President of product at Twitter says that the network is continuously investing in improving the portfolio of its services, so Speed Blogging users will have lots to blog about and share with their audience. They have plans to extend their advertising services internationally, and are also looking at targeting other industries outside of the retail niche in the long term.

Facebook Shuts Down Friend Data API and Improves Privacy Controls

Last year Facebook announced plans to retire its current API as of April 2015, giving advertisers a year's notice to upgrade to API Version 2.0. Now, all developers are required to use that version of the API, otherwise their apps will no longer work. The most important change in the new version of the API is that app developers do not have access to a user's status, location, work history, or the relationships between two users. A major part of the reason for those changes was that Facebook was under pressure from privacy campaigners regarding the amount of information that the friend data API shares.

The forced update to API 2.0 will put users more in control of their personal data, and will limit what app developers and Speed Blogging members can do. Under the original APi, developers could use friend data in any way they wanted, and there were some developers who exploited this in advertising campaigns.

The new API rollout is just one of several major internal changes that Facebook is making. The company has adopted a new slogan "people first", and they are making an effort to ensure that users feel comfortable when they are offered the chance to log in to other apps with Facebook.

Unfortunately, some apps that depended on the old API for features will need to shut down, so Speed Blogging users can quickly relay this information to their audience across multiple platforms. One prominent example of this is JobFusion. This app helped users to find work through their Facebook friends, but since the new API does not offer the app access to enough data to take advantage of this, it will no longer continue operating.

The Friend Data API had some incredibly interesting and potentially beneficial applications, but because they were not well-known and clearly understood, there was too much opportunity for app developers to use the data in ways that could be potentially harmful. With the new system, users are in more control of the data that they give to developers and how that data is used.

Facebook now requires that developers use the new Facebook Login feature, which ensures that users are given the chance to dictate what information the app gets access to. Users have granular control over how much information they hand over to each app, so developers will have to use other means, such Speed Blogging to try to engage their audience and give them some incentive to collect data.

Under the new system, apps must request each piece of data separately, and users can approve or deny each individual request. In addition, Facebook will be reviewing apps that request information from users which goes beyond the information that the user has made available on their public profile.

It is hoped that this new system will make users feel more comfortable with Facebook when it comes to how their data is being handled. However, the change puts app developers who relied on targeted networking features in a difficult position.

The change will also be problematic for advertisers who depended on friend data to run highly targeted campaigns. One of the best things about Facebook was that it offered a lot of detailed intelligence about its users, giving marketers the chance to laser-target campaigns.

The change will not be noticed by all end users, since permissions will be retroactively granted for existing apps as long as the app does not publish a significant update or need to request new permissions. However, all future apps will be required to request permissions using the new system, so users may notice that they are presented with more requests than they were used to.
