how can one make that figure? (it's a very nice site...would get rid of the "good looks" term...), but seller's are offering $2 an article and there must be millions of people (any many with great profiles/ratings/and phds in english) that one competes against? seems impossible..thanks and good luck

Hey!

Thanks for the post and your feedback.

First you must build a portfolio and credibility among whatever freelance website you are most active in (such as elance or UpWork, freelancer, fiverr, here on the Warrior Forum). It does take some time to get things going but if you are consistent in delivering great content and sticking with deadlines, you will grow a nice client base (pretty much your "list" in this niche). These are people that are looking for great content written over and OVER again. At some point you won't have time to meet all your client's demands and that's when you know it's time to raise your rates. If possible and that is something you like, start writing copy since that's where the big bucks are. People pay thousands for a great copy that converts.

Now you do not need to be an English Phd to write great content. Have a look at your favorite blogs and how their content is written and you will see they pretty much write in "basic english". As long as you provide value and actionable content that people can use right away, your readers won't be bothered that you are not Shakespeare (I know I am not!).

Make sense?

Cheers
Dan
