Blog Entries: 75 | SCALE SOCIAL Review & Unique 'Fast Traffic' Bonus [COMPLETE Review & 'Done for You' Bonuses] UNCUT Scale Social Review & Unique 'Fast Traffic' Bonus --- Hey guys, the 'Scale Social' app that promises to give you automated social signals will be released soon, and I'll planning on doing a full review of it on my site. I'm also offering a Unique Scale Social bonus in which you'll get useful training, software and services to help you grow your business. Below, I'm including some helpful content relevant to social media marketing. Make sure to watch this thread for updates and see the content I'm giving below while you wait for the official Scale Social launch... Tools for Tracking Social Brand Mentions Online One of the best, and worst, things about the internet is that anyone can publish content on it. This means that if you have customers you can be confident that they will be talking about your brand on various review websites and on social media. The best you can hope for is that you can respond to the message – you cannot control what is being said. When you start using Scale Social, its going to become even more important to track your brand/website online. However, if you find the mentions and respond to them well, you can turn anything – good feedback or bad – into a great content marketing opportunity. Good publicity should be thanked, while bad feedback is a chance for you to show off your customer service skills. The more you know about what your customers are saying to each other on social media, the easier it is for you to really give people what they want. If you are not already monitoring the mentions of your brand that are appearing online, then you are missing out on some amazing feedback and some good opportunities to improve the strength of your brand. When people are talking positively about your company, this is a chance to get testimonials, request the chance to do some guest blogging, or network with people to earn referrals. When people are being negative about your brand, you can use this as free market research, and also as a chance to rectify a problem – possibly winning back a customer. Think of criticism not as an attack on you, but a chance to learn, grown and improve. So, how can you monitor what is being said about your brand online? Well, you have several options. One of the best options is the free tool Mention.com. This tool will search multiple social media channels, as well as the web at large, and will give you the chance to collect feedback from a large number of sources. It monitors, quite literally, billions of sources and searches in more than 40 different languages. You can get real-time updates on where your brand name is being mentioned, allowing you to reply to the mentions that you see immediately. You can also get information about the influencer score of the person that mentioned you, which will give you an idea of how you should respond. You will, most likely, want to be a little more proactive in terms of how you respond to a mention from someone who has several hundred thousand followers, compared to someone who barely has a footprint on the web at all. Some social signals are stronger than others, and Scale Social will help you get a high volume of them. The basic, most limited service is free, and then there are tiered prices for tracking more mentions, with the first premium package costing $29 a month to track 3,000 mentions per month. Talkwalker Another useful service is TalkWalker. This tracks brand mentions across 10 social networks and supports 187 languages. It also has dozens of filters that will allow you to narrow down the type of mentions that you track. Talkwalker’s most interesting features are the ability to benchmark yourself versus rivals in your industry, collect demographic information about the people who are talking about your brand, and also create reports that include maps of where mentions are coming from. The dashboard is quite sophisticated, and this tool is ideal for people who run brands that have a presence in more than one country. Its a good idea to compare yourself to competitors to determine how many social signals you'll need with a tool like Scale Social. Hootsuite Hootsuite is a multi-account and multi-user management tool that lets you keep track of your social media streams, and also check for times when your brand has been mentioned. What sets it apart from Mention, however, is that you can then assign the mentions to another Hootsuite user who is a part of your team. So if you don’t know how to respond to a message, you can forward it to your supervisor or someone in another department, and let them take care of it for you. This tool is an excellent complement to Scale Social. Moz Alerts The Moz Fresh Alerts feature is a good way for people to stay in the know when it comes to what is being said about your brand online. Unlike other tools that are relatively social media focused, this covers general search engine appearances quite well. It is not a new service – it has been around for more than two years – but it is still powerful, flexible, and definitely has a place in any brand’s social media strategy. If This Then That Perhaps the most under-utilized tool in the world of marketing is If This Then That. This tool allows you to set up a collection of rules that will be followed when something happens. For example, you can tell IFTTT to look for mentions of your brand in a certain RSS feed, and then email you when a mention is found. This could be useful if you want to be alerted when a new review appears on a certain website, for example. IFTTT can also be run alongside Scale Social to syndicate content. Other Great Tools The above are just a handful of the tools that are available for tracking brand mentions. You might also want to look at tracking Twitter using Topsy, or searching for general mentions using the free but flexible IceRocket. Which tools you choose will depend on your brand’s online footprint as well as how much money you have available to spend on managing your brand’s reputation online. Whatever you decide, be sure to be consistent and proactive about tracking your brand’s reputation, because news spreads quickly – whether it is good or bad! Make sure to watch this thread for updates and to see my Scale Social review and Unique bonuses that I'll be offering on my website. This thread will also be updated regularly so stay tuned. (I'm posting some helpful articles related to social media marketing and how to get influencers to spread your content in the social media space, so you can get better results with your Scale Social promotions) Amplify Your Content Via Influencers Creating content is actually pretty easy to do and it is a straightforward process. However, the hard part is being able to get your content read by the right people. In other words, you want to have your content read by as many people within your targeted audience, but you might not know how. If you want your content to reach many people, then you will want to get help with amplifying your content. In order to reach your targeted audience effectively, it is a good idea to go via entities that matter within your niche. So, how do you do this? What you want to do is find people who have an influence on various platforms, and these people don't even have to be famous or celebrities or anything like that. Before we tell you more about finding these types of people, you need to know what influence exactly means. When you understand what this means, as well as defining the value you're looking for, then you can go ahead and look for people who can help you out. This is because you will know what qualities to look for in a person who has influence on various platforms. By now you are probably wondering what an influencer is, and the answer to that question is a person who is looked upon as an authority in a niche, or it can be an industry. These types of people tend to have a large number of followers on social media sites. Not only do they have many followers, but their followers engage with them. Part 2 of this article will be posted on this thread at a later time. --- |

Blog Entries: 75 | Re: SCALE SOCIAL Review & Unique 'Fast Traffic' Bonus [COMPLETE Review & 'Done for You' Bonuses] Part 2 of Amplifying Your Content Via Influencers When an influencer speaks, then people listen to them and it can lead to people taking action. Many posts that an influencer publishes are designed to get their audience talking. What this means to you is that they can help you reach your audience and amplify your content, as people are more likely going to pay attention to what the influencer is saying. If such a person speaks about your content, then there is a good chance people are going to pay attention to your content. Also, you need to keep in mind that just because someone has a large following does not mean they are a true influencer. A person can have a massive following on social media, but if this following isn't committed or active, then they are not really going to do you any good. In other words, it is in your best interest to find a person who has a large audience, but an audience that actually engages with them. |

Blog Entries: 75 | Re: SCALE SOCIAL Review & Unique 'Fast Traffic' Bonus [COMPLETE Review & 'Done for You' Bonuses] Part 3 of Content Amplification - Scale Social Tips & Strategies A good example of this is if one blog has a massive amount of followers, but the audience doesn't engage with the blog, and then you have one with a decent amount of followers, but there are a bunch of comments and likes and shares. The blog that has the most comments is likely the better influence because the content on the blog is being read, but it is also more engaging. Remember, it is better to have 100 people who want to engage with your content than it is to have 1,000 readers who do nothing with your content. Twitter is a good example too. An indicator of engagement includes re-tweets, replies and favorites. Followers don't matter on Twitter, unless the content is being shared and engaged with. Now you know that you need to find real influencers and not just people who have a large following of people who do not engage with the person who has the large following. |

Blog Entries: 75 | Re: SCALE SOCIAL Review & Unique 'Fast Traffic' Bonus [COMPLETE Review & 'Done for You' Bonuses] Part 4 of Amplifying Your Content - Bonus Scale Social Tips You can do things manually when it comes to finding out who influencers are, but there is an easier and less time consuming way of doing this. There are various tools you can use to help find influencers, as well as help you make contact with them easier to do. Using the right tools can help you find people who carry weight on social media sites, but the right tools can even help you figure out an influencer's pattern based on past data, which can be very helpful. Some of this data includes things such as the types of posts the influencer is likely to share. This even includes blogs that the influencer will likely visit and things of that nature, and you can use ScaleSocial to help influencers find you in an easier way. One tool you can use is called Klout, which has been around for a long time. This tool can help you analyze your content on various social media sites and how it sits with other users. Many people use Klout to measure their content's impact on social media sites, but a lot of people do use it to get a quick overview of a user's influence with your own network. |

It can help with researching topics, keywords and you can even take a peek at some of the top influencer profiles, as well as scores that relate the audience reach. You will also be shown data about your influencers, and this includes things such as email addresses and sites an influencer is associated with. Alongside ScaleSocial, this tool can help you gain stronger signals. Go ahead and give Klout or Impactana a try as soon as possible. You could end up finding influencers to help amplify your content. You might be surprised at how well your content will do when you find just one powerful influencer to share your content or to engage with it. --- --- |
