My review of this service is very positive. I am seeing over 500 indexed pages over 20 news sites. The quote for a PRWeb news release is $99.00 and this is a typical price for most press releases. PRNewswire charges and annual fee of $195.00. Top SEO VAs took about a week to accomplish this task. However, I would highly recommend the service because of the value is provided. Just be aware that you need to carefully review your press release draft before it is released.


I have checked and verified the results and this a very good value. I did however, pay the $75 for the media sites upgrade and the results have been very positive. Therefore, I would recommend this service and most likely use Top SEO VAs again for future projects.

Sorry I missed our comment. While we do have some media outlet out reach in asia, it is not as focused as North America, Europe, If you targeting India coverage, I would say we can't provide targeted distribution to cover India alone.

hi Bill,

Sure, I would say the press release need to be news worthy ( if you have something to announce, or news worthy information to send out, it is a big plus ). The writer should be familiar with press releases formats ( title shouldn't sounds as an ad or marketing scheme, instead more of clear description of what the press release is about . e.g. Company XYZ launches a new service that does ABC ). Unlike articles your target is not length, sometimes press release can be as short as 250 words and be perfect ( I would avoid going beyond 400 words ).

Most press release writers would dig on your website and try to make some type of announcement for you, if you don't have something to announce. I usually ask the client if they have anything new launching so we leverage it, otherwise, we will try to find the nearest feature , or interesting fact about them that make them unique.

I hope that helped, feel free to PM if you have any further questions regarding recommendations for writing a press release. As far as the niche, I believe as long as you got something to announce, it is very useful regardless of the niche.

Probably stupid questions but are these generally safe and not like black hat? They will obviously benefit for SEO purposes? Is this a similar service to PRWeb? With one submit how many backlinks do you think it will generate?

hi Karios, there is no such thing as stupid question. It is not a black hat method. Press Releases are used to send out announcement to media. It is 100% legit service and recognized by google as well as search engine. our press releases get indexed in google news.

The backlinks numbers varies based on the content ( how much news worthy, the more news worthy the more backlinks to expect ). we send the news out to 500+ News Websites, 100+ Blogs, and Social Media Blast. The better quality of PR, the more backlinks you will get.

Press Release will provide u a boost indeed, but no press release service can rank you on 1st page on google instantly on competitive keyword, or people would stopped using SEO services and only send press releases.

Press Releases is 1 element that would help you a lot, but you can't ignore other element.

If you are asking about our SEO service ( not the press release ) , we are experienced with local SEO, we have done it for various clients and had a great success with it. I am personally involved from strategic point of view and the main point of contact for any project a VA would take on.

Our SEO Specialist has a minimum of 5 years experience prior to joining us, and have proven result ranking clients locally and globally. I used to do SEO myself 9 years ago since then, I have moved to Digital Marketing Consulting job working with some of top 50 fortune companies.

So, I would say :) Yes, we know something about local SEO :), as far as press releases, it is included in our SEO packages as well, but they can't alone get you ranked.

Maxsi, Press Release are effective way to get exposure, get good media backlinks, if the press release is well written it can drive good traffic to your site.

It is used mainly to make announcement for media and get attention to your site. e.g. launch new service, new product, have something that you aim to get media attention to because it is unique. If you have something worth announcing this is a great way to get your news to google news and others and get good amount of backlinks from news sites.
