Hi! I've been thinking about learning how to do domain flipping. If you feel like sharing, I can't help wondering why you're getting out of this business. Are you retiring? Are you fed up with it? Are you going to do something else and if so, if you feel like sharing, what are you going to do? Have you had success with this business? Do you offer or will you offer a course on how to do this business? Thank you very much! |

I have actually made pretty good money by buying/selling domains. However, it is fairly slow and unpredictable - especially if you aren't actively looking for buyers. And if you are buying higher-priced domains. Best part of it is when you wake up to emails saying that a domain has been sold! You also need to tie up quite a lot of capital, which at the moment, I want to invest in other areas of my business where I feel it could be more advantageous. |

Hi! Thank you for this! I have two more questions: 1. If I just use Flippa to sell domains, will this site provide enough traffic, or must I find other ways of getting traffic? 2. If I buy low priced domains, will I still have to tie up a lot of money in capital? THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I APPRECIATE YOUR KIND FEEDBACK! |

1. Usually, it makes sense to have it selling on more than one marketplace. This increases your chances of selling. Put it on dan, internic, GoDaddy, Sedo at least 2. It Depends on how many you buy and how fast you can sell them. It is very difficult to register a totally new domain and then flip it. Not saying it doesn't happen, but usually, it hasn't been registered for a reason... |

What has been your experience with buying and selling expired domains? Are they easy to sell? Thank you very much. I really appreciate it! |

Much easier to buy than to sell Generally, if using a broker then you are going to be paying 15-20% commission so you need to take that into account whenever setting your prices. Also, you won't always be able to strike out with every domain. So, when you do make a sale make sure that it is profitable enough to take into account those domains that you never sell as well as renewal fees. |
