There are people who look for tips for quick weight loss. Some even go as far as complete starvation in order to reduce weight fast. Such things normally do not work as our body requires nutrients to carry our daily activities. What will generally happen, if we go for complete starvation, the body will get deprived of essential nutrients and we will not be able to do anything.

People seem to forget that our body consists of around 80% water; most of us do not know the importance of this wonderful natural drink. The more water you drink, the more you stay away from those sugary aerated drinks, which are really harmful for our body. And most of the time when we feel hungry, it is in fact due to dehydration and an instance where our body demands water.

The body requires water more than the food. The body can remain without food for many days, but cannot sustain without water. Water rejuvenates our system and keeps our body running; it is required to digest food and also aids absorption of the food we eat. The daily requirement of water is based on a persons body weight.

Your first tip for quick weight loss is to imagine if we drink an ounce of cold water, it burns one calorie in the body to make it warm. If you drink 100 ounces of cold water, 100 calories will get burned, an easy way to burn the fat. Water not only tones up the system but also removes toxins from the body. Try water therapy to lose weight. If possible add some lemon in the water and this will be quite helpful to tone up the liver. Remember the liver is the main organ in the body which helps to metabolize fat and does maximum work in the body; lemon is also good for our kidneys. Since lemon is a citrus fruit, it is a very good antioxidant.

Avoid eating fried food, and if you’re fond of fish, take smoked or baked fish, you can also use the same method for meat and chicken. You can get your regular dose of proteins from nuts. Yogurt contains lots of live enzymes which are very useful to the body. Include walnuts and almond in your daily diet. There are many types of fruits which will give you sense of fullness and are very crucial in providing various nutrients so have at least two or three servings of fruit salad a day.
