There's a legion of reasons why. We can't spider the web to try and keep an active count. The best we can do is tell you how many times we have successfully published your article.

Some will reject an article simply because they feel it doesn't reflect the tone that they want for their blog. Others will reject because there may be spelling or grammar errors in the article. If the rejection rate of an article falls below 50%, then you seriously need to look at the article and improve it, because that indicates that most site owners feel that the article is of inferior quality.

Site owners are not allowed to change or remove your links in any way or form, and they are not allowed to republish your article somewhere else as their own work. They are allowed to add their own links to the article, and they are allowed to insert ads into the article. They are also allowed to correct mistakes in the article, and they are allowed to completely delete the article from their site. When you select a View of your article, you're seeing one spun copy. You see a new spun copy every time that you refresh that page.

Our system treats a "." as the end of a sentence. If your article has a sentence that reads "Learn more at microsoft.com." then the system picks "Learn more at microsoft" and "com" as separate sentences to be rewritten. It's not a big deal because it will not hurt your article at all. On those funny sentences, simply click "Save and Next Sentence" without supplying any rewrite options. First, check the Published count of the article in your list of articles. Then edit the article and set its distribution limit equal to that published count (or less than will also work). That effectively pauses the distribution of the article without deleting it. To restart distribution, just increase that number again, or set it to zero.

The article is only actually saved when it's error free, and when you're redirected to the View of the article (or Rewrite) after clicking one of the save buttons.
