John,

PR5 is the page rank of the root domain. If you win this auction and acquire this domain name, you are free where to place your link, but ideally you want to place it on homepage.

Its been removed from DMOZ.

It is still listed in the DMOZ search, but if you go to the actual categories you will see its been removed. Its a known bug at DMOZ in that the search server is not updating properly. As soon as it is updated it will be gone from the search

Whoops. I missed that one. It was removed from all the other categories. Assume that it will be removed as soon as the bot is let loose to check.

cbpayne, please don't fill our classified ad with false claims or unreliable assumptions, thus; retracting interested parties from placing their bids. If you have any question, do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for understanding.

We do have some .org domains, mainly we look at the PR and SEO metrics of a domain name, not it's extension. We have a new .org auction, check our website for more info about it.

As I predicted that final listing in DMOZ has been removed. Buyers beware when this seller claims a site is DMOZ listed. Make sure you check the category rather than the search results before you buy.

And you clearly confessed that the domain was DMOZ listed in one category, see your reply:
Whoops. I missed that one. It was removed from all the other categories. Assume that it will be removed as soon as the bot is let loose to check.
But you are right, the domain (which we had for months and kept its DMOZ listing status) is no longer DMOZ listed, because you or one of your friends who happens to be an Editor at DMOZ removed the domain name. We would like everyone to see what we received from our contact form of our website:
From: DMOZ Editor <noreply@dmoz.org>
Subject: Monkeypeaches.com

Message Body:
All 15 links to monkeypeaches have been removed from DMOZ per out listing guidelines, including the link you noted in http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...backlinks.html

FYI so you are not falsely advertising your domain.

So now DMOZ editors chase domains that are DMOZ listed and are no longer active, remove them from the directory, send a message to their sellers? As mentioned in a private message, if selling DMOZ listed domains were illegal or against their terms, Godaddy TDNAM would be facing a new law suit every day.

We are in touch with DMOZ staff now and they are investigating this matter. Whether it is you or your friend, using Editorial privileges to handle personal matters, will be revealed soon.

Please do not lie, it does your credibility no good.. I am not a DMOZ editor and I had nothing to do with getting your site removed. DMOZ removed it when their bot detected the site was gone.

Threatening me via PM is also not wise and has been reported.

We are in touch with DMOZ staff now and they are investigating this matter.
DMOZ will be laughing at your complaint. Given that there was not a site on the domain, it should not have even been still listed. Of course they will investigate; they will investigate why it was not removed sooner. they will be happy that you brought it to their attention!

Those that claim DMOZ listings when selling domains, when they do not have one, need to be held accountable for trying to dupe potential buyers. You have been caught.

- How come DMOZ's bot did not detect the domain name for 2 months (we acquired it early January) - and it detected it right after conversation on this thread, in which at first you claimed the domain is not DMOZ listed and when we showed you it is listed in one category and you agreed, then you made assumptions that it will be removed and a couple days after that, it was removed?

- Since when does DMOZ's bot remove inactive domains, detects the company that it is selling them, then goes to their contact page and posts something like this:

From: DMOZ Editor <noreply@dmoz.org>
Subject: Monkeypeaches.com

Message Body:
All 15 links to monkeypeaches have been removed from DMOZ per out listing guidelines, including the link you noted in http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...backlinks.html

We will no longer reply to this thread, we will leave it for the mods to decide given the proof we provided of you harming our business. As for you calling us liars, we will not go down to your level. If you do not like our service, simply ignore our threads.

I did nothing to harm your business. You did that to yourself.

Your were the one trying to scam potential buyers by claiming all those DMOZ listings. You dug this whole by yourself. Those atempting to scam people need to be held acountable. I simply called you on it.

Fortunately this thread now exists and your potential customers can see it and judge your credibility for themselves.
As for you calling us liars, we will not go down to your level.
You did lie. If people lie, I will call them on it. You accused me of getting your listing removed from DMOZ when I did not do that. That is a lie. You dug that hole for yourself.
