What is good in OP2:
- the fact that comes in both plugin and theme, gives you a lot of freedom and choices
- the integration with the membership plugin seems good (haven't test it yet on the field)

However, I'm sure that the people at OP are reading this and being a long time customer, I know they will fix and improve.

I have been seeing post all over the place about OptimizePress 2.0 here lately and trying to learn a bit more about it. I have done some research on it and it looks like something that I may be able to find beneficial in my company and in our normal operations.
I own multiple websites and the functionality of those websites range based on the specific website and what it was intended to do, so I have to find something that is really flexible when it comes to a plugin/theme. We use wordpress for the majority of our sites, and it looks as though OptimizePress 2.0 has both themes and plugins to integrate directly into those sites as well, so looks like something we will definitely be taking a closer look at.
It also looks like the system comes with easy ability to integrate both MailChimp as well as iContact which are two powerful email systems that I use for my business so this is another awesome feature I have been noticing with it.
I have a couple questions though that I haven’t been able to figure out from my research currently:

1) Is this sort of like a “Framework” for wordpress themes to be setup on, like the Studio Press themes and frameworks? Or does it setup and install differently than the normal themes?

2) How often does the theme/framework get updated and is there an automatic updating feature for the system.

Hi there,

There's training on all this in the back office when you buy so you can be sure you wont be left in the dark.

1.) It's a wordpress theme. Install as normal.

2.) Updated randomly but quite regularly. For security reason though it's "Wordpress" itself that gets updated and is push button as normal.

The theme will likely follow suit. James has a team helping him and they are on top of things.

Any issues send to their support.

Update - likely as before - uninstall and then re-install the updated version. Your changes and settings will stay the same.

We own over 50 websites and are constantly developing 10 – 15 per quarter so if everything goes well I believe it will be a good investment for our company to make.

I have another question for you in regards to this theme. Do you guys happen to offer affiliate or partnerships to individuals or companies who can help sell the theme for you?

The reason I ask is because if these work out really well for us then we will be happy refer our colleagues to the theme and framework because our colleagues also own hundreds of sites as well. Actually I am connected to Optimizepress, I just use it myself and also doing my bit for the community.

I hear that the affiliate program is now by manual approval, so best contact support for that. They do have one though.
