I'm not going to try to use a bunch of marketing tactics, fancy colors and fonts, or any other bullcrap here. Just the facts.

I've decided to sell my successful writing business. Reason being is I don't have as much time as I used to, and I've also branched out into a few other things. I always said if I can't put 100% of the effort in, I wouldn't keep doing it.


Writing-By-Michael was started with the intention of doing all of the writing myself. However, as time went on I had to start outsourcing 95% of it to qualified writers because of how many orders I was getting.

We've built up a great reputation and I'd like to keep it that way, so I would like to ask any prospective purchasers a few questions before any possible sale.

Price: As far as what I'd like to sell the business for, I don't have an exact set amount in mind. This is something that will have to be discussed and negotiated.

For the past 2 years, we've grossed just about $65,000 a year. After paying our writers, WF thread 'bumps', and other expenses, our net profit was in the ballpark of $30,000.

What I intend to offer with the sale of Writing-By-Michael is the following:

- The Writing-By-Michael.com website

- The Writing-By-Michael Facebook page (5,822 "Likes" as of this posting)

- Writing-By-Michael email accounts

- Any forum accounts associated with Writing-By-Michael

- The contact information of the writers I currently outsource to (I only use American born writers that pass my quality standards)

- My likeness/pictures (if you'd like to leave the reputation unchanged, you may use my pictures and likeness)

- 3 to 6 months of support to get the ball rolling. This can be discussed privately, and will be based on your needs.

P.S. A few things I forgot to add:

- As far as how much daily work I put into the business, for the last 9 months or so I've only put about 2 hours or less in per day. Since I don't really do much writing anymore, my hour or 2(often less) consists of sending emails, negotiating prices, and sending finished product to the customer.

So, while this isn't exactly passive income, it became easy money, and a great hourly rate.
