You've probably stumbled upon this article because you're doing some research about Amway. You may already be an Amway independent business owner and if you are, that's awesome. If that's not the reason why you're reading this and you've maybe heard about Amway, tried some of their products or have more questions about their company I'm about to answer those right now. If you're looking into Amway and looking to start your own business, you should know right off the bat that it's a legitimate company. They've been around since the 1950s and they generate billions of dollars in income every year. You may have heard some false statements about them such as they're a scam or a pyramid scheme, but they aren't. Think about it this way, if they are producing that much revenue a year, how are they a scam? Amway is a member of the Direct Selling Association (DSA) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB). You can make money from product purchases and recruiting, so they are not considered to be a pyramid scheme. Amway's product line includes business, commercial, health and fitness, wellness, technology, home care, nutritional supplements and personal care. My personal conclusion is that Amway is a reputable company with great products and if you like the company and products, then you should go for it. However I need to discuss some reality that is true in all network marketing companies. Qualified leads are the lifeblood of your business; if you don't have leads, your business will fall apart – no product sales, no recruiting, and no network = no money. Statistics say that 97% of people fail in all network marketing companies. Why is that? First we have to understand who that 97% is. Many of them are people looking to get rich quickly, thinking that it's easy and do not want to do any work at all. Amway is a real business; it takes time to build like all businesses do. The only difference is that the start up cost is low compared to any other business, which is very beneficial. Amway has made a lot of people a lot of money and they have products that people are actually interested in purchasing. It's a great company and opportunity to be a part of. If you treat it like a business and you go in there with smart expectations, not inflated or unrealistic expectations, you can do really well for yourself. Amway is about working hard, getting you to become a better version of yourself and being a business owner. This is your business and if you work it like a business, you are going to reap the rewards of being a business owner. |

Before reading this article, you've probably already been introduced to Amway, perhaps to its products or its business opportunity and you're online to do some more research. Well for whatever reason you're doing this research, whether it is deciding to sign up with them or thinking about purchasing their products, today I'd like to talk to you a little more about their company. First of all, I'd like to reassure you that I have no affiliation with Amway. I don't work for them, but I do know that they're a good company. Amway has been in operation for over 50 years, operate in over 80 countries and they produce a huge range of high-quality products. You need to know what exactly it takes to succeed in a network marketing company such as Amway. Now unfortunately there are many people out there who don't do their research before they sign up, they don't know what it takes to succeed and unfortunately they're just not prepared to put in the work. If you've already signed up with Amway, you've probably been told to create your list of 50-100 people (everybody you know) and call all of them. You might have even been told to ask for referrals to those who say no. Well that's all good advice and it certainly works for some, in fact it works really well for a number of people, but if you're anything like me, that warm list seems to grow cold far too quickly. You might need to ask your Amway up-line for advice and they probably tell you not to worry and that you should contact those people again in a few months because situations change and in the meantime get out there, meet new people and keep talking to people about it. Every Amway coach tells their team that it's a numbers game – the more people you talk to the more people you're going to get to sign up. They're not wrong; that is sound advice, but again if you're like me you might get fed up with people saying no to you all the time. Well it's that feeling of rejection and failure that causes literally 97% of people not only in Amway, but in every network marketing organization to quit. It takes someone with tough skin to actually follow through with a business like this. One crucial key to succeeding with Amway and every other network marketing company is to keep updated with new marketing methods. Just because methods that may have worked well 50 years ago, it doesn't necessarily mean that they work as well today or work at all for that matter. There's new ways to market and new mediums you have to learn to utilize in order to channel your business out to prospective customers. I know a lot of the traditional Amway coaches are now shifting away from traditional marketing methods to modern, online techniques. If you're thinking about getting into Amway or are already an independent business owner, in order to succeed and reach your goals you have to stay on top of innovating ways to get yourself out there, talking about your business to sign people up or to simply get customers. Remember this is vital to succeeding with Amway, so don't waste any more time trying to implement traditional marketing ways, go out there and learn to market intelligently and efficiently. Before you know it, you'll be their next success story! |

It's a great company, you can learn a lot from them. Just don't put all your eggs in that basket. It does require a lot of work for little pay off.

| You've probably been introduced to Amway by a friend or family member and you're doing your due diligence by checking out this article for more information on the company to see whether they're legitimate or a scam. Maybe you're already in Amway and you're looking for a way to build your business more efficiently and want to take it to the next level to make even more money. I'm just going to get it out there before you read any more of this article, Amway is not a scam. I am not an Amway representative in any means, nor am I affiliated with them whatsoever, but I can tell you in confidence that Amway is a legitimate company. If it was a scam then it wouldn't have stuck around for over 50 years. It is one of the most successful network marketing companies out there today and a lot of people are making a ton of money from it. Today I am going to discuss why there is so much controversy around whether Amway is a scam or not. There is one significant problem with Amway and that is about 97% of people don't actually succeed with it. Why do so many people fail? It's because they lack the knowledge of generating successful leads. The people sponsoring you to get into the business tell you to write down your warm market list, which is basically your friends and family. They tell you to start off with that and don't get me wrong, that's a great place to start to build momentum, but an arising problem is that when you run through that list and have no one left, what do you do? Your Amway coach will tell you to go to malls, grocery stores, book stores, restaurants or even just going to talk to some random people on the street just to get more sign ups. This networking method is called “fake shopping.” Sometimes this does work, but the conversion rates are extremely low because you're looking for people who are not looking for what you have to offer. Again, I'm not saying this networking technique doesn't work, I'm simply stating that it's ineffective and you're going to get “no” as an answer the majority of the time. Well how do you fix this problem that probably everyone initially signing up with Amway has? It's simple, you find people who are looking for a business opportunity that you're offering. You need to learn to bridge yourself to success and learn how to prospect to people who are interested in getting into Amway. There's a bunch of techniques you need to learn and just to mention a few are: leadership, sponsoring, and closing. Amway is a great company and again, they are not a scam, but 97% of people who join fail. If you're thinking about joining them or are already part of the company, be that other 3% of people that do succeed and find effective and efficient ways to market to people who want to marketed to with this opportunity. |

Great Article. Amway has a lot of good to offer (training, etc) but like all things... results may vary and you shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket. |

Amway is legitimate, however it is a difficult build in North America due to their strong stance against internet marketing in general. See this full Amway review done by Unleashing The Alpha Networker, a professional MLM blog.

Even though Amway have been around for quite some time, they are still having their challenges within the US. If you join, proceed with caution. |

I am not a part of their system at all but I still buy audio cassettes on Ebay, I just love their training. They will be here for many more years and they are not going anywhere. | |

Okay, so without all the hype and stuff, I would like some plain facts: 1. What are the minimum costs to join Amway? 2. I know there is a registration fee of $62 or so. 3. Do you have to pay a yearly fee on top of that? 4. When do you have to pay this yearly fee after you first join? 5. So if you do have to pay this yearly fee, then what are the total fees when you first join for the first year? 6. Is it true that if you have to pay this yearly fee, you have to pay the whole annual fee no matter when you join during the year, with no prorating, and then pay it again every January? I don't want to hear about buying products and tapes and training. I just want to know the bare minimum fees and costs to join and remain active. AND WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO HARD TO FIND THIS INFORMATION ONLINE? |
