GVO - Should You Try GVO?
Share on:

Before I talk about GVO if you want to see how I'm making up to $5,000 a day click here to see my no.1 recommendation!

GVO (gogvo) is a web hosting and autoresponder company. They also have a business opportunity built into their company as you can make a lot of money by promoting their service as an affiliate.

I am a GVO member and I am going to share my experience with you from both the perspective of a customer and also an affiliate as I have a list of over 8,000 subscribers in my autoresponder account, however I have also enrolled over 400 people into my GVO downline and made $1000's.

The Autoresponder

GVO's autoresponder is a useful tool. It's much cheaper than competitors such as Aweber and GetResponse however I think that cost comes at a price. I have a list of 5,000 subscribers in Aweber and that list is far more responsive than the list in my GVO account despite it being smaller. I believe this is because Aweber are able to get better email deliverability.

GVO is perhaps a good autoresponder for somebody on a tight budget however if you are a serious marketer I wouldn't be recommending GVO as my number one unless you were planning on being an affiliate too.

The Business Opportunity

The difference between GVO and other autoresponders such as Aweber and GetResponse is the affiliate program GVO customers have access to. The compensation plan for GVO pays up to 200% commissions!

You can make $100 per 5 customers you enroll in a week. I have had weeks were I have been able to make over $1000 in commissions despite only bringing in $500 worth of customer revenue. So it's cool that Joel (the founder of GVO) rewards his affiliates and pays his commissions, and not the tiny commissions that other competitors pay.

The only downside to the affiliate program is that it really rewards people who can send a lot of volume. You really have to make at least 5 sales in a week to make money as that is the minimum to get the 200% commissions.

I was able to send sales in volume earlier in the year so I collected some nice commission checks however a friend of mine doing smaller volume wasn't able to make much money despite him sending a good amount of sales just over a smaller period of time, so he missed out on the 200% commissions.

Which Autoresponder Should You Use?

If you are serious about your online business I personally would go with Aweber, GetResponse or even iContact. They are really the 3 big players when it comes to autoresponders however you will pay a premium. The cost increases substantially as your subscriber list grows. The upside is that you should be making more money to cover the cost.

If you are on a budget then GVO is a good starter autoresponder, and if you want to make money promoting them they have a pretty good compensation plan for people sending volume

See how I'm making up to $5,000 a day with affiliate marketing click here to see my no.1 recommendation!

One of the things I really do like about the GVO affiliate program is that you can get paid via a Payoneer pre-paid card. When commission day comes I receive them instantly to my card and I can withdraw them from a cash point, or use the card in store. This is a big benefit as it means you don't have to wait for checks in the post or bank transfers which can take time!

The payoneer card / account can also be connected to other affiliate programs as I also get paid from ClickSure via the same card which is cool :-)

Thank you for the honest review Mark. I may join GVO at a later stage, and your review is the only one that is helpful so far (I already read several).

I watched the first 3 hours of that very tedious intro video....
all that talk of money and nothing but money put me off
almost totally.

Why not even ONE single word about what any of those
dudes and dudesses actually DO.... to make an alleged mint?

My curiosity is near ground level, but before it fades compl
