Prosper202 is made by people who brought you Tracking202. I really love this piece of software because it lets you install it in your own domain, which is extremely powerful. The beautiful thing about Prosper202 is that it’s absolutely free! Anyone that’s familiar with installing WordPress knows how easy it is to install and Prosper202 decided to take the same route. It’s really simple and easy to install. All you need to do is go into your C-panel, create MySQL database, follow the simple instructions to make Prosper202 link up to the database and hit install – it’s that easy!

The only thing you really need to do with Prosper202 is you have to dedicate an entire domain to it. You can’t install it in a subfolder; it wants the root domain of that domain. You’ll have to register a domain with GoDaddy, NameCheap or whatever and that domain is going to have to be used with Prosper202. I don’t think it’s a big deal; I actually like it this way because I can go and do everything in one place.

When you log in to your Prosper202 C-panel, you’ll see that the interface is really clean and there are a lot of things that you can do with it, but it’s not too overwhelming. To get into the actual application, you just click on Tracking202. Once you get in you’ll see a Setup tab, an Overview tab which shows you how many clicks you’re getting, how your campaigns are doing, etc., the Analyze tab allows you to dig in a little deeper with your campaigns to see your conversions, the Visitors tab shows you your traffic statistics, and the Spy tab is my favorite because it allows you to see in real time as users are coming into your site and what keyword triggered that particular click, the IP they came from, what browser they’re using, etc.

Prosper202 is an extremely powerful tracking tool, it’s easy and simple to install and even easier to use. They have video training tutorials that help you familiarize with the software and teach you everything you need to know to in order utilize it to its full potential. I recommend Prosper202 to everyone because it’s such an awesome tool, it’s self-hosted and better yet, it’s completely free. The software is free to download but you have to invest in hosting to use it. If you don't mind payig an extra monthly fee for hosting then this could be worth trying.

I don't think investing in hosting would be a concern as it is well below 50 with namecheap and much lower at other sites. Since Prosper202 is for paid ads, we should be prepared to invest a lot more on paid ads.
