Out of my 24 personally enrolled, 22 came from online marketing. Two came from postcards. I mailed out the initial 250 cards and got one referral from that batch. As I kept marketing online I received eight referrals total between December and January and then to keep momentum going, I ordered 500 more postcards and mailed them out at the recommended rate of 100 per week for 5 weeks through February. I received one referral from those postcards that month and five referrals from Internet Marketing. The only way I can surmise those 2 came from postcards is that I track all of my online activity and see where signups come from. The "blank" untracked signups must have come from postcards. Total postcards I have personally mailed is 750.

I chose to mail out some postcards simply because I cannot ask a referral to do something that I haven't done yet. There is no integrity in that. First and foremost, I am an Internet Marketer. I like the Internet because referrals tend to be a bit more tech savvy than people offline. By the same token, they are also more finicky than offline people. Results come faster too.

Remeber though... the appeal of postcard marketing is very strong even in the online marketing world!

My goal is 100 personally enrolled. Then I will switch my efforts to spot and develop the businesses of leaders on my team. Currently I am on track to reach 100 in 18 months from my start date.

Your commitment level will determine your success. Not some "secret method" or anything like that...

Of course! I will tell you here as I want you to come in knowing exactly what to expect...

Once your sites are configured, definitely mail out the first 250 postcards you receive as this will start the optins popping in.

And I use BingAds.com with a $10 a day budget for no more than one week a month (for the last 2 months). I am new to this and am honing down ads and keywords to blow this out in the future. Currently 1 in 4 clicks result in an optin. My budget has to be low for now during my learning curve...

I've done two full mailings at Webstars2K.com and got over 50 optins with three signups.

The vast majority of my referrals, more than half, have come from traffic exchanges where I receive 3 to 5 optins day in and day out from a mixture of traffic from 60 exchanges 2500 to 3000 views a day to the page above. I actively market roughly 3 days a week and surf for an hour on those days.

I would definitely mail out 100 cards a week too, I just can't do it all yet. I just use all commissions to pay for traffic as I go (buying traffic credits, BingAds, a solo here and there).

So far, it is working and growing. I just wish my referrals had the same level of commitment, and the long-term vision that I do!

This is my own personal marketing routine, and I was in profit in my second month. Your routine may be different. If you have a list of contacts, you could be in profit immediately. If you are knowledgeable using PPC, you can do really, really well.

You will not understand every aspect of this biz before joining. I didn't. That level of passiveness sounds great in theory, but it would only open up a big can of worms for both the mailing service provider and the customer.

No work is a myth in the home business arena. Nothing can replace good old fashioned elbow grease and the personal growth that comes with it!

The GBG Opportunity is definitely a passive income opportunity. Still, you need to get down and dirty to build the foundation for that passiveness. My sponsor, Michael, is a 100K Platinum. That means his residual income is well into the five figures monthly. As far as this post here, and my traffic exchange promo page, I created those. Here on WarriorForum, due to the sheer amount of information available, I felt like more info than just a short video and optin fields is necessary. People here deserve more info than other ad venues. At BingAds, traffic exchanges, and in solo ads, I just use the main squeeze page design. I do not reveal as much as here, since a discussion cannot be started through those venues.

I would definitely help you get set up with a traffic exchange page and a page similar to this post here if you wish. You can even upload them to your own domain, or I can host them on mine.

All this does not replace mailing out the first 250 postcards at the absolute minimum. Don't skip that step.

Yes, we can set up our own. In the backoffice, there is external domain embed code that you can add to any page design.

For most paid ads though, the original landing page is best in my own experience.

Definitely agree with using your own capture pages, especially if you are selling your own products. With this system though, duplication plays such an important role that if the optin page itself was too creative, with the form code embedded directly into a blog or original site, referrals would feel more overwhelmed than they already do.

Their perception would be that they had to go our and set up a blog or create unique capture pages for this to work. Most of my referrals, 75% of them, are so new to Internet Marketing, that they have a hard time promoting the referral url as it is. Even just creating a basic html page with info and a link to the ref url (like this post here at WF) can seem like a daunting task!

Promoting their referral url as it comes is less complicated, yet at the same time still a challenge for them. That is why I keep the optin page with the original design through most paid ad venues including PPC. So referrals see that the system converts well as it is set up and they just have to join and share their link!

Look at referrals as opening "gateways" to income. In a perfect world, when you refer someone, they would in turn refer others, who in turn refer others and so on. Those of you that are experienced already know that unfortunately, it never works out that way regardless of the opportunity you are in.

Non-Qualified Gold means you made a $39 product purchase and have not referred anyone yet.

Qualified Gold means that you have made your $39 product purchase and have referred two $39 product sales. Now, you have "opened the gateway" so to speak up to 10 levels of matrix pay. At the 10th level alone, there would be 1024 people. I can tell you right now, if you stop at 2 referrals and expect your network to fill in through level 10 on its own, you have delusional expectations. In case your first two referrals are diamonds in the rough and they explode your network, you are qualified to earn up to 10 levels without having to refer anyone else.

Qualified Platinum means that you have made the one-time Platinum Pack purchase and can immediately earn residual income up to 10 levels immediately without referring anyone else. This is in case of the rare situation where you join at the top levels of a big hitter and they blow it out and enroll, lets say, 100 people in a short time. You make the Paltinum pack purchase and now you will earn on the residual back-end of the 2x30 matrix based on the efforts of your upline who created spillover for you.

Managing Platinum means you got started with the one-time $399 Platinum Pack and have referred at least one other Platinum member.

Opening up the entire 2x30 matrix is as follows:

Gold Member starting with a $39 (+shipping) purchase and referring 10 individual $39 purchases. That Gold Member gets promoted to Platinum and can tap into a full 2x30 back-end matrix growth, as the network matures over time.

Platinum Member (either by referring 10 Golds or by purchasing the Platinum Pack) who refers three Platinum members also opens up the gateway to earn income on a 2x30 matrix.

In the real world, it is a crapshoot as to who will get busy referring people. All you can do is lead by example and stay active and sooner or later you will find a few diamonds who will explode your team. Just be consistently referring. My goal is one per week.

I have enrolled 45 people and have 117 total in my 2x30 matrix. It does not extend beyond level 8. Don't concern yourself with filling a 2x30 matrix and when you earn what as this will never happen. A full 2x30 is over A BILLION people! Amway has been around for 60 years and has less than 5 million customers/distributors. That is .005% of a billion!

The 2x30 is in place to make it a way to theoretically have unlimited earning potential at 50 cents per level residual bonus. It works very well and GBG does have seven-figure earners (over $100,000 monthly) and their income will keep growing virtually indefinitely.

At 50 cents per level back-end for 30 levels, that is just $15 of the $39 product. Direct referral bonus is $10, so there is $25 of the $39 accounted for. the remaining $14 is for product manufacturing expenses, brick and mortar office in California and paying the salary of the hourly staff handling customer support and keeping track of all the accounting. Novus and the management team all get paid via the 2x30 matrix just like you and I do.

The $25 bonus if if you are a Gold Member and refer someone who makes the $399 purchase for the first 2 referrals. The 3rd Platinum referral and onward of this Gold Member earns him/her $100 per Platinum referral.

Platinum Members earn $50 for the first two Platinum referrals and then $200 for the 3rd one onward. I've sold 6 of these.

Postage costs vary too much and are more expensive in other parts of the world to make a postcard marketing system viable. Even in Canada, although our system is available there.
