Hi - I don't divulge exactly how much I make - I know its a good sales tactic to make claims about dollars, but the reality is every niche is different, every person is different ...so I opted to state actual traffic numbers instead of the "Make $29k per month!" claim. However, to be sure not to mislead anyone, I am sub $10k per month. Forums give you the ability to, and my revenue comes from, monetizing: Ad space, affiliates, solo ads, paid postings, paid donations. I also use it to bootstrap new ventures or forums, by leveraging the current member base. My weakest performing revenue source is Amazon, my highest is using an ad network. Hope that helps! |

Hi. I'd like to ask whether we can use free forum software like phpBB to set up our forum, or must we utilize paid versions such as vBulletin? Thanks!

Yes, you can totally use free forum software. In Module 1 I cover selection of forum software and we explore paid v free. I personally prefer one specific paid one, but if your budget doesn't allow, then there are some good free options too. My bigger concern on the free ones is that it takes many more plugins to give you that "community" site you're after (social networking type features like "Likes" etc). But all possible.

Hi all, I want to give a honest review of the video course. The first thing that hooked me up was all the advantages of having a good forum, and Chris showed it really well. Imagine a business that can make content buy itself And you can make money with those contents created by someone you don't even know... On autopilot. It makes a really good SEO alone and you can create a good community that will see you as a leader. Thats the power of a good forum. The course Is amazing well structured and Chris seems to be a really nice guy. Chris, Thanks for sharing all your expertise with us! And is a really non brainer deal for the price. Bruno Sette ps: After watching all the 5 hour course I did create my first forum and I hope I can succeed just like Chris. |

Looks interesting. The big problem i see is how to get the forum active? Do you cover this in depth any applicable to any niche? Say i set up a forum for stamp collecting...how do i get regular posters?
