[Review] CLICKFUNNELS VS LEADPAGES: The Best Part Might Surprise You...

ClickFunnels VS LeadPages: Pros and Cons of Both

You're probably here because you are either looking for the best squeeze page builder, or because you've already got LeadPages and want to know what the deal is with this ClickFunnels thing and if it makes sense to jump on board...

I'm just going to cut to the chase up front, then give you all the nitty gritty details, ok?

If you're looking for the best all around squeeze page builder (plus a whole lot more) - go with ClickFunnels.

Because you can do so much more with ClickFunnels than you can with LeadPages, and almost just as easily...

Now, if you're the kind of person that wants something easier than pouring water out of a boot with the instructions printed on the bottom, then go for LeadPages.

Listen closely here, because I still use both for different purposes...and I've had beta access to ClickFunnels for about 2 months before it launched. I participated in the testing, gave feedback and was thrilled with the level and speed of their support.

First off, ClickFunnels.

Pros:
  • You can create so many things (complete funnels, memberships, etc)
  • Pages are extremely flexible
  • The support is top notch **this is often an overlooked benefit but easily the best part of ClickFunnels, and one that really makes it stand out among its competitors

Cons:
  • Not quite enough templates available yet
  • I lose myself in all the things this can do!

Here's the thing. ClickFunnels could almost take on OptimizePress 2 (which I also use). I don't think its there yet, but since it lets you actually see the page as you're working on it (instead of OP2 switching back and forth), ClickFunnels already has a leg up... The options it gives you are almost endless - and its super simple.

The best thing you can do is try it for yourself by clicking the button below. Check out the short demo video, then activate your free trial!

As for LeadPages...

Pros:
  • Super easy to use (seriously, my grandma could do this)
  • Very fast deployment of optin pages

Cons:
  • Limited options/layouts
  • No real sales funnel capabilities ("frankenstein" method)
  • Messy backend (but maybe I'm doing this part wrong, who knows?)

**LeadPages tip: click the button below and go to the blog on that page, they give away a lot of killer optin page templates for FREE!

To sum it up, LeadPages does one thing and does it extremely well. It builds squeeze pages that convert well. And it builds them fast. And super easily. But just an optin page won't make anyone money...

And that's the problem.

To really succeed online, you NEED a sales funnel...and not just an optin page.

Yes, LeadPages does offer sales pages, webinar pages and a whole lot more. But ClickFunnels is focused on the funnel as a whole, where in LeadPages you're just focused on each piece then you've got to mesh them all together...

And if you want your own custom look? Forget about it. LeadPages is NOT the way to go.

But like I said, I still use and love LeadPages. When I need just a quick squeeze page up and running fast, that's where I go.

Don't get me wrong, LeadPages does offer a lot...take a look:

For myself though, when I need a sales funnel, I would go to OP2... The big benefit right now for OP2 is that its still more flexible than ClickFunnels is.

For newbies though, the learning curve can be a little steep with OP2 (and overwhelming at times), so ClickFunnels will be a better solution for newbies especially.

And everything I'm doing now, I'm leaning more and more towards ClickFunnels...I can see it will soon become my tool of choice.

To sum it all up, Russell Brunson is the man. You probably know that already. Yeah, he looks like a kid, but that kid has his sh*t together... And its obvious he's going all in on ClickFunnels. It shows.

The best part?

You can try it out for FREE!

Yeah, just click the button below to watch a short demo video and claim your free trial:

AFFILIATES ONLY

ClickFunnels VS LeadPages: Affiliate Program comparison

When comparing the 2 memberships from an affiliate standpoint, I much prefer ClickFunnels for 3 reasons:

1. ClickFunnels opens up their affiliate program to anyone, when LeadPages only lets you promote if you're a paying member. So if you drop LeadPages, you lose any and all recurring commissions (not cool).

2. ClickFunnels gives away free trial memberships (right now at least), which gives affiliates higher conversions.

3. ClickFunnels offers affiliates a "second tier" commission level. If you're not familiar with what that means, basically affiliates can get paid commissions on the memberships that affiliates they've referred have sold. Whoa. I just reread that and it didn't make things any clearer, did it?....sorry about that. Anyway, its a good thing.

So - if you're interested in making money by just giving away free trial memberships of ClickFunnels yourself, then click the button below to sign up for their affiliate program.

Quick update - Russell Brunson has put out a bunch of videos explaining some things about ClickFunnels that might help in your decision:

ClickFunnels - The Vision

ClickFunnels - Explainer Video

ClickFunnels - Anatomy of a $500k Sales Funnel

ClickFunnels - How to Design Your Own Sales Funnel

ClickFunnels - How to Build Your Sales Funnel in TEN Minutes

Just to keep you all updated, I'm seriously considering dropping LeadPages vs ClickFunnels - sure it's a few more bucks a month, but Click Funnels does SO MUCH more, its not really a competition.

And the more I'm using it, the more I'm loving it!
