Excellent idea Matthew! I have been a customer of yours since the initial release of Custom Video Player. I have to say, you really look out for your customers. This will be another excellent addition to my Custom Video Player arsenal of products I have purchased from you in the past. Thank you for providing great products, upgrades, and support! |

Amazing idea and the pages look awesome. My mind is on overdrive thinking off ideas to use these video backgrounds. One powerful idea. All the best Neil Update: It doesn't seem to work though with phones/tablets. Checked on Android. |

Thanks for the great bonus Matt. I assume that the background videos are royalty free and we don't have to worry about some guy coming after us. A small suggestion - could you add a third slider that controls the speed at which objects are moving, as some of the videos are moving too fast. Cheers AlanSele P.S. How are you enjoying Perth? Are you a true blue Sandgroper now or are you still a Easterner? |

Good to see you are behaving yourself this time with the comments Currently there is a limitation for controlling the speed of the video, and we run into quite a few issues with using YouTube videos and some browsers, however, this is an excellent idea and something I will look further into. With the spinning effect, you can adjust that speed. There is a third and possibly fourth slider I am looking to implement into the main settings, that would be to adjust video blur and color, the only limitation we have is Firefox causes some issues with this, but it can be done for all other major browser. Any comments on adding blur which would work on Chrome, Safari, IE and Mozilla? Let me know your thoughts on that! Also, for those that are Pro members, let me know how the features are going for you! Thanks all for feedback, much appreciated.

Yes, background video currently does not run on mobile. This is due to the processing power and often bandwidth issues that it would cause on a mobile device. But I can see this being solved in the near future. Currently, the way PondFX deals with it, it does not load the background video on mobile devices, and this way you can enjoy the video effect on Desktop, without it effecting your mobile site. By the way, you can also use it for direct video files and even images, can do some vids on that if you like.
