I also report duplicate threads but I see that isn't listed here. I am assuming either it's wrong to do so or you overlooked adding it.

Somebody that has never sent a message on this forum just sent me a private message saying Hi Tony. My name is not Tony and this person tried to bring me into a suspect website.

What should I do to prevent this person to continue his spam?

For some odd reason, WF hides the reporting button for private messages. Look for a red triangle on a black background in the upper right corner of the PM.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this thread looks outdated. I don't see any triangle.

But the point is that this user is posting spamy content: http://www.warriorforum.com/members/JD%20Malone.html

And I just wanted to let you know about it if you haven't noticed already.

READ the first post in this thread - where it explains HOW to report a scammer or bad post....

On a PM thee is a small red triangle on the black bar at the top of the message - on the very far right of that black bar....click it and post the explanation "spam"...

You have a problem with your capslock or you think it helps in some weird way?

I want to report a post (or user) and the first post says:

"How to Report a Post or WSO
      1. Login to your Warrior Forum Account
      2. Open the Forum Thread
      3. Scroll down to the Post
      4. Click on the red Triangle Icon at the bottom left of the Members sidebar."

This is how I see it: http://prnt.sc/erd767

There is no triangle and your capslock is not helping me to see it.

    Get over the capslock....

I see what you mean - you are using the feed view (a/k/a 'modern view" is what they prefer to call it).

The instructions in this thread - and comments by other members - are based on the Classic View which most people I know here use. If you want to see what we mean...click on your name in the black tool bar at top of page (on the right).

The drop down menu will have a box with "view classic" in it....click on that and you'll be taken to the standard forum format. Then you'll be able to see the triangle.

The feed view is fairly new - signatures don't show and now we know the little red triangle doesn't either.

Sorry - with two views and the feed apparently the default...we seem to have a case of the disappearing function. If you switch to classic view the comments above will make a lot more sense.

They removed his posts. Pointed this poster out in another thread on the Suggestion forum. If they would not allow newbies outbound links this would not happen.

Seems the feed view has a major drawback, if you can not report spam. Something else that needs to be fixed here.
