Hi, l have an issue, when l press down enter to put a space inbetween my sentences, l get two spaces when l save.

And then have to go back and remove the extra spaces, which is a pain.

I have tried to go to Firefox toolbox, (already updated) and messed about with the fonts bit, and stripped all of the cookies off and login in again, but nothing seems to fix it.

Appreciate some help, thanks.

It's likely from a plugin you are running on Firefox. Disable all of them and try it then.

Yes, just tried Chrome, with no issues.

Thanks Mike, but no, disabled everything except system plugins, and it is still there.

The only recent thing l installed was Flash, and that was the first thing l tried, (refreshing the page every time).

Tried setting Firefox back to default settings, still there, and FF help is useless.

But pressing SHIFT before ENTER fixes it.

Although l just tried it on my Virtual XP, old FF browser, and no problems.

Hopefully some update will fix it, thanks everyone for your help.

Wait. So it is a Windows 7 issue?

      Uh oh.

No, it's not - I have it happening, too....but not all the time which is strange. I use Win10 - usually use Firefox.

It's not a big issue for me - if I notice it happening I just manually remove the extra spaces...

True Kay. l have to remember to use press Shift before Enter, either that or go to the virtual XP one, which unfortunately is slower.
