2014 has been a big year here at Warrior Forum. As most of you know, in April Freelancer.com acquired the Warrior Forum. In this time, we've worked with the community to improve the forum while adding a number of new features.

One of the first improvements we made was to move all the Warrior Forum servers over to Amazon Web Services. This instantly resolved a lot of issues including reduced load time and significantly less timeouts.

Warrior Ask Me Anything (WAMA) Events

On May 7 2014, we held our first Warrior Ask Me Anything (WAMA) event with Internet Marketing legend & entrepreneur Noah Kagan. Since then, we have had some of the finest Internet marketing experts, entrepreneurs and thought leaders continue the series, including Matt Bacak, Rand Fishkin and Hiten Shah. We have received a huge amount of positive feedback in regards to these events and are continuing the series in January 2015. If you did miss any of the events, these are available in the War Room. The information in these events is invaluable!

Warrior Deals

In May 2014, we introduced official Warrior Deals where we present the best Internet Marketing products available in the WSO & Warrior Payments marketplaces. We have received a lot of great feedback in regards to these and we're looking forward to bringing you the the very best products in a more structured way in the new year. We have also awarded our top sellers of the year with Featured WSO badges to proudly display on their WSO listings.

Warrior Forum Advertising

In June 2014, we launched a new banner advertising system. The new banner ad system is a remarkably better experience for advertisers and allows you to advertise on both Warrior Forum & Freelancer.com. Additionally, the new system allows us to add additional ad space and emails advertisers when their banner ad will be live on the site.

Warrior Payments

In July 2014, we launched Warrior Payments, a platform that allows product creators to sell and distribute their products while recruiting affiliates to promote their products. We have been working with product creators, affiliates and the community to build out an extensive list of features. Some of the major additions include sales funnels, joint ventures, integrating with key email marketing platforms & the ability for buyers to reviews WSOs easily. The affiliate marketplace has also been updated to provide key affiliate statistics to help choose the best products to promote, including sales, conversion rates, earnings per visitor, refund rates and more.

In addition to these, we have introduced a Warrior Forum staff moderation team, which allows us to be more systematic and structured in our approach to managing the forum. The team are quick to learn and have shown great initiative. The team has been doing an amazing job and we are working hard to constantly improve member experience across the platform.

Freemarket.com

In September, we revamped the Complete Websites for Sale sub-forum and created a completely new marketplace for selling domains & websites—Freemarket.com. Led by Stefan, the Freemarket team have come a long way in a short time and we're excited about the plans for the new year.

In the last few weeks, we began emailing our members the top stories of the week to highlight the amazing discussion and content within the Warrior Forum. These weekly emails are a great way for members to get a concise snapshot into what's going on within the Warrior Forum while encouraging conversation.

While we have been busy building out these features and improving the forum as a whole, we're excited to bring more features and enhancements to the forum 2015.

Finally, I'd personally like to thank all warriors for their continued support and contribution to the Warrior Forum in 2014. Everyday we're continually amazed by the passion and investment you bring to the community.
