It's not penalizing anyone! Everyone gets the same info free however if you are seriously looking at IM as a career then investing $39 for the war room isn't asking a lot to have access to a number of proven blueprints in various aspects of IM. Further spending an additional $20 to post a WSO isn't a big deal or shouldn't be if you have a great WSO as you'll get it back many times over.

You'll get a better response if you give before asking to recieve in this forum. So best joining in a little and let people get to know you. Just my 2 cents.

27$ doesn't seem like that much, I may pay just because this is one of the better webmaster forums around.

Re: Warrior Forum Going Back To Paid Status

I just joined the free forum today. I've know of the Warriors for ...well... years, and I'm sorry I didn't pay more attention way back then. My husband might not be so stressed out today if I had had better insight then. But, then, I was new to the net and IM, and overwhelmed with much of it, and unsure of who really had the answers I sought.

I don't mind the fee. It's a one timer, not an every month thing like so many are. I had been considering another private "club" to join, but just now can't do the monthly fee although I'm sure it's a worthwhile investment. I agree that it is a business expense and as such I'll write it off my taxes. I like free, but I understand business too, and I am here to learn how to build one successfully. Really, I was expecting a far bigger fee than $37. I can do $37. Am cleaning out my PayPal account to do it, but, hey, maybe tomorrow I'll have a lot more to put into it! Okay . . . maybe not tomorrow, but soon!

Can't comment on the $20 for the other thing. Haven't been here long enough to know what that really means.

I'm new in the WF, but I love it.
I think this is a smart decision, very important for the WF credibility.
This will contribute to everybody, especially serious Internet Marketers, in a long run.
Every decision made for the WF to become a better place is a good decision.

I don't want to break the system.

If it will make it easier to just send the $37 to your PayPal account, I
can do that as well. I have enough WSO receipts to be able to find where

Let me know how to handle this.

And thank you for the best forum on the Internet hands down.

Sorry, WarRoom Membership is one time fee and posting fees are different than that and you have to pay it every time you post a classified or WSO.
But membership will be your best investment.

I've been a member here for a while now, but just haven't made many posts. I spent more time reading, I guess. At least I won't have to just post a bunch of crappy little 'one liners' to qualify now.

I've been watching some videos lately that got me thinking about doing a WSO. That sucks it going to cost me 3X as much to do my first one, but I understand completely. Any decent WSO will easily pay for itself more than that.

I'm actually surprised it doesn't cost more.

I better go ahead and scrape it up before it does go up. :p

Definitely worth it I remember when I added paid option for my radio site, the ones that screamed were the ones that would never in their entire life take things seriously to keep it a friendly place. So am not saying those that can't afford the cash have nothing to offer, but mean to say that it will atleast keep those who are serious at one place to talk and share their knowledge. Others can always catch up.

Signed up to the forum a couple of weeks ago. Decided to join the private forum.

Talk about over delivering. This is by far the best investment anyone can make. If you are serious about taking control of your financial life a one time fee of $37 is a small investment.

Like others have said before me, do whatever you can to get that $37. Get a loan from a friend, break your kid's piggy bank, whatever, just do it!!!

Why this change has been made:

The forum is getting overrun with "less than acceptable" people who have discovered how easy it is to make money with Warrior Special Offers and that they can get a site indexed within minutes by posting a junk blog on the forum.

I deleted 7 blogs last night that were made by people with zero posts to their name. These are not serious members, these are spammers.

It's been my experience that people who pay for something respect it more and are at least willing to read the rules.

I know this will not stop all the problems but it will drastically cut down on them.

Thank you for understanding..

Allen

Hey Allen. I am new on the Warrior Forum. I am also a new paid subscriber on Warrior Room. I have a few questions. How do I navigate to the Warrior Room to get my bonuses and start to post and reply posts. Also, can I so a WSO if I have no post on the main Forum?

Please let me know.

Many thanks

I have just joined the WF, so to me paying or not paying is not a concern really. I guess the peoplee most affected are the old members who now have to cough up $37 to have full access. But, from what I have read so far and checked out on the forum, it's all worth it and more.

I just snapped up my full access without blinking an eye. Many of you will agree that $37 can be easily be lost in just a day, few hours or in a minute on non important things in just a few hours or minutes on the internet or at the shopping mall. This will be my well invested $37 for sure.

To your internet success,

Although I think this is a great idea it kinda amuses me that I joined the "Warriors" back in the beginning when it was membership only.

It was that way for a few years - then the membership site was dropped and "Warriors" became the forum only and was essentially free. Now many years after that Allen is collecting a membership fee again.

Not that I mind paying again - but in the beginning I paid for a "lifetime" membership - but that must have been another life :-)

Just teasing Allen - it really is a great idea and the value here is through the roof when you actually use it.

Re: Warrior Forum Going Back To Paid Status

This discussion has been going on for so long, when I registered months ago, the $37 was not an option - at least that's what I thought. The War Room was a private place for those who upgraded for the $37.

Now, that same $37 includes the areas we, the private War Room Members, paid extra to get away from. The War Room should really be an Elite Upgrade paid either monthly or yearly for an amount equal to the value the War Room alone provides.

How much is that? Hmm, the wheels are turning as everyone knows most of us can't afford to pay what it's worth or maybe you are one of the few who can but you will be alone at the top. That's not good either...so $97 a year is an affordable option if you really want the spammers and not so serious people kept out of the way.

Sounds harsh but so is reality and the truth hurts. That's what the Warrior Forum's reputation is. If you can't take it straight, come back when you get tired of chasing eBook rainbows and expensive marshmellow systems that don't work.

Where else can you learn the right way the first time for $37 one time payment? It was The private War Room with serious marketers who know. Priceless. Now, I fear it is being diluted with Allen's generosity on over-drive, skidding out of control.

Newbies, a word of warning since it seems as though you are being let into the private War Room area too. Be careful. Read the rules. Don't do stupid things and get banned. You will get no refunds and no hearing unless you truly were ignorant. I speak from experience. I didn't get banned but I was close - thank goodness ignorance was showing through. Be careful. That's all folks.

P.S. When you enter The War Room, it's like going to a
church where the elders meet. Don't rant and rave. Listen. .
Ask intelligent questions. They help those who truly want
to help themselves first. That's what makes the War Room
priceless. Hopefully it will stay that way. Time will tell.

Hey gang,

I plan to release my very first WSO in the coming week or so. I don't mind this new update at all. In fact I'm looking forward finally getting membership to the war room area (I have been putting it off for quite awhile now).

I would like to know if there are any additional fees charged to members that release WSO's or is everything covered with the war room membership?

Thanks very any info

Hello UnstoppableJoy

Like UnstoppableJoy, I too joined the $37 lifetime membership but I think that was for the The WAR ROOM only - the private area - which was great. Now, it's no longer private since everyone who pays the $37 now has access to what used to be like the Admirals Club at the airport where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of travelers with screaming kids and pan handlers, not to mention non-english speaking tourists looking for everything under the sun...anyway.

?? Maybe I'm confused but I don't understand WHY the private War Room is included - membership going back to paid is fine - the War Room has always been a paid membership so why does that have to be merged with the Forum just because it's going back to paid instead of free?

What do you think of what I stated in my last post? Am I the only one who sees everyone getting way too much for way too little now.

Thanks, Leah

P.S. There is a limit to generosity, isn't there??

Even though I recently joined this Forum by invitation, I fully agree with the following quote by admin:

The truth is it's only going to be a few more a day joining the War Room. Not as many as you would expect. Out of the huge number of people who register here a day only a very small fraction are serious. The rest are spammers, blog abusers and have their sights set on making money in the WSO room by running up 30 posts real quick. The vast majority of those people will not pay to upgrade, which is a good thing.
I was a member of other Forums, and had to leave because of one or more of the above reasons. Now, I am privileged to be a member of a select few. Participating in Forums does take some time and effort, whether one is a contributor, or just requesting help. However, I have seen many posts which are obvious examples of ads promoting their business. In this case, how can one tell whether a post is written by a paid... or non-paid member of this Forum?

Thanks.

Thanks, Allen! I have been a member here for a few years. I love reading the posts and amazed at the tactics, strategies and advice given out freely. I love it. Spammers have a way of ruining everything and I, for one< am sick and tired of them. Thanks for taking a stand against them.

Hi Allen,

Paying for this forum is not a big issue, and agree with you that spammers do make everyone worry, mostly the admin and moderators who try to keep the community clean. I am happy to pay for the War Zone membership. And moreover, its lifetime payment for once so better!

Decided if I was really serious about making money on line and learning everything I could about SEO, etc. I needed to join this forum. This is not the time to half-step, but jump on in and head for the deep end. Feels good to be here - like belonging to an exclusive club.

Thanks for the post. Being a new member here myself it would probably be easy to do the wrong thing. Don't worry I won't include a website link cause I haven't made one as yet hahaha! Just joined a course through this forum so hopefully I will be able to make valuable posts over time. Thanks again.

I have just recently joined as well and I want to go find the sweet spot on this site. I want to learn more about possibly advertising here or if there are any highlighted areas to list your business as this seems like the place to be.
I am going to hang around and feel this site out, if it looks good then I will join, I don't think the $37 is a big deal. Thanks

Trust me I have been a member from way back. Join just bite the bullet it is so worth it. I'm not sure if the $37 gets you War Room access or if that is extra if it is extra through go for it to. You will not regret it.

After almost 450 posts, just paid the $37.

I made much more than that due to this forum.

$37 is a small price to pay.

You guys rock!

And to anyone else who has goofed around here for a while, took
the info, made some cash, pony up!!!

Paul

I am only new to IM and less than a week ago found WF, I have been so happy with all the content and have picked up a few WSO already.

I can't believe people who complain about such a small 1 of cost for such a quality service. Do people realize IM is a business? Too much hype has been given over the years to making money without spending a cent to do so.

Reality check people, you will have to spend money to make money!

I paid up as soon as I had seen the notice, and did it with a smile so happy to be able to help support such a good forum.

WF has now become one of my first points of reference in the IM world

A big thanks to everyone who gets involved here.

Keep up the good work.
