Hi Warriors,

In response to advertiser feedback, weve decided to lower the prices of the banner ads on Warrior Forum. Were not changing the format, but the lower prices will make it easier for you to generate a great return on your ad spend, without changing the experience for the Warriors who just want to get at the great content on the forum.

The new prices are:

Top Banner - Now $5.99 per 1k impressions (was $9)
Bottom Banner - Now $1.49 per 1k impressions (was $6)

Ive set these prices so that the top and bottom banners will generate a fairly similar cost per click for most advertisers (although it depends on the exact ad creative of course). The bottom banner in particular now offers a cheap way to test whether Warrior ads will work for you, as you can try it out for only $14.99.

These changes are effective immediately, so if youd like to get started right away, then you can post your banner ad here.

If you have any questions or clarifications about this change, then please reply to this thread or direct message me. Id love to hear any feedback or to discuss any problems that you might be having

On a related note: has WF ever considered offering a referral affiliate program for WF? ie., if you refer people and they join for paid membership add-ons (ex: War Room), the referrer gets a nice tip Just wondering

I'd also previously (11/01/16) posted a request in the Suggestions forum that any accounts representing this site's management be designated with an official red tag denoting them as such, but I just saw that someone deleted it. Ah, well.

This actually already exists; your referral link is located in your control panel, (second block down).

Ah I missed that forum. I'm still getting up to speed on everything. I'll see if I can move it over, and if not I'll ask the mods to do it.

Try logging in as a mere mortal, and you'll see that it 404's. Thanks for your personal vote of confidence, but since you're new, (even though your account says 2014?), I'll gently suggest that it was taken down for a reason, and that Management isn't likely to change their opinion on that. Threads are deleted and Members are banned for any behavior that strays too far from their position.

You think? They're a big part of why the core group (about a thousand) of us all just picked up and started our own forum. We'd been collectively trying for months to help your firm's Management to better understand the property that they'd just purchased, but after enough deletions and bans and nasty threats, people decided that enough was enough.

I like your attitude - refreshing for someone to INTERACT rather than issue blunt statements here and there and then be gone again. Don't be discouraged if people are a bit distrusting - "we'll look into it and get back to you" has been the most common "final word" on many suggestions this past year.

For some reason FL has created an adversarial atmosphere and it's self defeating. The WF "team" needs at least one person who is social enough to interact in a friendly, responsive way. You can say "no" to a suggestion - but those who take their time to post suggestions deserve a response and that has been lacking for some time.

Thanks Kay! I've been encouraging the others to post on the forum a bit more, but they've been pretty busy with a number of change requests that I've put through. I'm pretty keen to make sure the forum is as interactive as possible though.

I found Warriorforums interesting and looking forward to use it my betterment. I found the cost of ads interesting and really cheap then what others ask for. I would further like to know type of audience and no of unique visitors this site gets in a month.

Well the audience is anyone who is interested in internet marketing. Each of the ad slots gets about 2m impressions per 30 days, but they're sold on a CPM basis so you can get however many impressions you are interested in.

I created this account back when Freelancer bought Warrior, but I was mostly just lurking.

Since you have been active here now for over a month and making some positive changes around here. Have you taken a good hard look at the War Room and it's price ? Last I know it was $97.00 for new members. Is it feasable to cut the price at least in half for newer members.

Another thing about that section, it needs a good clean up. Some stuff in there is way out dated and other stuff is just pure garbage. A while back it was being game to get people to sign up too the posters e-mail list. Then the poster abused the e-mail list to promote crap to anybody that signed up in the first place.

I know that will take alot of time any effort to clean up. It may take awhile to do it but the value of the war room will increase. Then at a lower price you may get alot more people to sign up in the long run.

We've got some plans around the war room, but we want to get out our nav changes, plus some internal stuff to help the mods first.

After that we'll be putting some time into improving the offering there. I definitely want to go through and remove a lot of the dead content, although we haven't figured out a nice way to do that in a scalable way yet.
