I am pleased to announce that Warrior Forum has joined the Freelancer family.

We are excited and looking forward to working with you to better support the community.

Allen Says founded Warrior Forum in 1997 and I’ve personally watched the community grow to over 730,000 members, becoming the world’s largest Internet marketing forum.

We will be allocating substantial resources to further grow Warrior Forum! We will be dedicating engineers to build features and customer experience specialists to interact with the community in order to understand intimately what you like. They’ll be working closely with the moderators moving forward.

The most important thing, however, is that we listen to you- the community. We’ll be going through the suggestions section and would love to hear more about your ideas and feedback. I am really keen to hear from you!

Also please feel free to email me at matt@freelancer.com with any suggestions, ideas, and thoughts or just to touch base and introduce yourself.

Effective immediately we are making a few permanent improvements to pricing:
* All WSO listings will now be reduced from $40 to $20
* All current War Room members will have their 20 year membership extended to lifetime, immediately. Moving forward new memberships will be $20 per year.

Thank you for your support of Warrior Forum in the past and I look forward to working with you to take Warrior Forum to the next phase!

Regards,
Matt Barrie
Hi Matt,

I notice to BUMP a thread in WSO section is still $40 yet a new listing is $20, is this how it is going to be?

Ohh means freelancer owners will now manage Warriorforum too .I guess now serious reviewers here will get paid heavily for their posts .

Freelancer has acquired many business in recent year and most of them have been merged to their website like limeexchange and rentacoder i guess.

So Warriors get ready for new type of business

One thing that is certain in life is change. I wish you well in whatever you will be pursuing Allen.

It is cool if you think about. Being right there at the beginning of the dawn of the internet. Starting this forum back in 97. Seeing it grow and change in ways that you probably never dreamed that it would.

Flash forward to now. A simple idea has produced (albeit in a slow fashion) big payoffs and now you are rewarded with an even bigger end reward. Not bad for just starting a little forum on marketing. I guess patience really does pay off in the end and slow and steady really does win the race.

People were asking for suggestions about how to improve the forum. I, for one, would like some type of system that would NOT allow those sellers who ran out on their products and buyers, to be able run any type of WSO's in the future (I mean forever), unless they are able to rectify their problems and actually stand by their products. Im my book, lifetime updates and support, mean just that......LIFETIME, not one time!

That would really improve the perception of WSO's and create more certainty for the buyer, thus improving the overall buying experience.

Anyway , congrats!

Jack

I was thought the $20 fee for WSOs had already been implemented but it seems like it's not. I just tried to post a new WSO and got a PM asking me to pay $40 as usual.

Can anyone from the freelancer.com team please confirm when the new fee schedule will be available for us?

Welcome to the jungle, Freelancer.com LOL

(Just making a joke, not picking on you, Leonardos!)

I'll just add my 2¢ to say that some of my most favorite human friendships and business relationships in the real world have happened through the WF.

Allen Says deserves a Lifetime Achievement Award for all of the careers he's spawned in this business. Fact.

If you haven't come away from your experience at the Warrior Forum richer for it, the problem is NOT with the forum. Just sayin'...

With gratitude,

Brian

Dear Jack, nice points; in addition to your suggestions, every seller should have an external link, preferably his/her own website to interact.

One thing I would like to see (and warriors selling their services in the Warriors For Hire section won't like) is a hold payment service (or otherwise known as escrow service).

Does freelancer.com hold payment until both seller and buyer confirm that the job is completed satisfactorily? I know Fiverr.com does this and that's where I've brought most of my businesses to, after 2 times disappointed by "warriors" here.

Most people have trouble adapting to change. I am reluctant to change, and have difficulty adapting. I have not seen anything in the Freelancer post that will be difficult to adapt to so far. Time will tell.

I wonder what Alan is planning doing. Just taking his money and retiring maybe? Probably not, that is not the way of entrepreneurs. Who knows?

I have just paid for the wso thread and it costed me $40, not $20 as advertised. I was bumping the thread. Can you please explain? Thanks.

Hi Richard,

Great suggestion. Thanks for your input and ideas. This does happen on Freelancer.com. We have a milestone payment system which protects both the employer and freelancer. The freelancer doesn't start work until the funds are in milestone and the employer doesn't release funds until they have received the work and are 100% happy.

I welcome the change and think the lower WSO price will enable more marketers to put up their own WSOs. Sometimes a little thing is all that stands in the way of opening a door to opportunity. Ready for the new Warrior Forum.

Congrats Allen on the sale. There's many of us that have profited immensely from what you've built.

With change comes new opportunity.
To be fair the CEO only has 2 posts which means he cant even get a review copy of a WSO

Please read the forum rules.

Hi everyone,

I can confirm that both the WSO listing price and the bumping price has been changed to $20.

Let me know if you guys experience any issues with this.

As a member of the Warriors since 1998, I've seen MANY GOOD AND EXCITING THINGS have been going on throughout the years with this membership. For example, many of nowadays Famous Internet Marketers, and even not so famous , came to life and were "born" in this industry thanks to Allen Says and this membership. Many would even be very startled at who they are, really. Many are multi-millionaire gurus. However, many fellows are just not millionaires yet but make a decent living thanks to this forum and the multiple, not to say endless, possibilities it offers. Let's hope the Warrior Forum will still be the fountain of opportunities it has always been, and let's hope this "merge" will be for the better.

Regards,

Andre Foisy

P.S.: It took almost an HOUR for me to wait for the forum, trying to reload it several times, to be back online, or available, and post this. So, let's some hardware and network resources will be added to make this forum MORE available ONLINE than it has been in the last year or so... I guess many sales may have been lost for paying advertisers (me), because of this
