This is indeed interesting. We will have to wait and see what all the hype is about. I have been with WF for a long time. Even when it was a whole different format, but somehow I lost the tenure for that. But I digress. So far, I have no complaints on the new forum ownership. It really is the users here that make this such a great place, so as long as they don't mess with the way we interact with each other, then I look forward with anticipation to the big announcement.

I forgot a few things. All existing members of Warroom are given lifetime membership. New members pay a monthly fee. Good value, think of all the free WSo's they would get. Monthly fee is an affiliate scheme in its own right. Every time we sell a WSO the purchaser is told about the Warroom. If they decide to join as the seller we get recurring commissions for life of payee. Oh and new members who turn up without a sponsor are randomly assigned to an existing warroom member. Sorry, just dreaming out loud. :-)

I think I got it, its more to do with advertising (banners etc) on left & right side bars. I hope I am right; Alaister & mattbarrie is going to give me some prize for guessing correctly.

I miss the old icons, too. They were like dear old friends to me, full of personality, always happy to help me express whatever I wanted to say.

Many people may like the new smilies, they look crisp and modern, but I think they just don't have the same feeling.

You can hardly see the smile on a yellow smilie, the pink one looks like a button, the one with a tongue is obviously on a strict diet, and could someone please recommend a good orthodontist to the green one with a grin.

I want my old smilies back. Or give us a choice, like in gmail, two different sets, and everyone's happy.
