It's been a crazy week with the launch and release of Warrior Payments. Thank you to everyone who jumped on my live stream for the announcement. Unfortunately we had some technical issues which we'll be fixing to ensure everything is smooth in the future.
We have gone through all of your feedback and are rapidly adding features and improvements to what we have released.
Here are the updates and features we have now added since launch:
- IPN integration
- Bigger "Buy Now" buttons
- Reminder email for customers to leave feedback 3 days after purchase
IPN Integration
You asked for it, we delivered.
A lot of you have provided feedback around IPN integration and allowing notification of payment. We have implemented IPN Notification which can be found in the "Advanced" section when creating your WSO.
When choosing this option, Warrior Payments will send the exact IPN data received from PayPal to your script. Enter the URL of the script you have on your server. The data will be sent to this URL after a sale has been made. You will also get notified when a refund or reversal occurs.
This is an advanced feature and is optional.

Bigger "Buy Now" buttons
After seeing the first users of Warrior Payments embedding their buttons onto their sales pages we discovered the buttons were much too small. We immediately worked on increasing the sizes of these buttons to match the styling of most of your sales pages. This will hopefully increase conversions and make the "Buy Now" buttons more prominent.
Customer Feedback Reminder Email
We have received a lot of feedback around the implementation of the reviews system and we are working on improving it and making it a more accurate system. The first thing we have done is created functionality for Warrior Payments admins to remove useless reviews. We have gone through and removed the reviews that we feel are not suitable and valuable. This has removed the reviews from showing up however it is still included in the feedback calculation. We'll be fixing this early next week.
We have made it clearer on the check out page that you should only leave a review after you have used the product. This is live right now.
We also created a reminder email which will be sent to the buyer 3 days after they have purchased the product to remind them to leave a detailed review that will educate and help future buyers. The reminder emails will kick in as of Monday next week.
