I'm looking for a programmer to partner with to develop and sell desktop software programs. Windows programs is a must and cross-platform using Adobe Air would be a bonus.
You must be dependable, honest, reliable and do things on time. You must also understand that giving customers value is an important marketing concept. If the software we create helps people and is bug free, we can sell things to them again and again.
I prefer someone with a history on the Warrior Forum.
I've been a Warrior Forum member since 2002 (actually, since 1997) and am the moderator of the Warrior Forum's High Voltage Video Forum, so you can be assured that I'm not going to run away and hide.
You do the coding and I'll do the selling and marketing. You'll handle tech support on an ongoing basis and I'll do the usage support.
We'll split our profits 50/50, but consider that we will need to pay affiliates. I believe in transparency, so we'll do our best to make sure we will eliminate the need for "trust" whenever possible. For example, JVZoo has a "JV" feature that will automatically pay us our share whenever a sale is made.
I have a number of marketing related programs in mind and am experience with developing software programs and creating mock-ups.
Generally, the programs will do a lot of scraping data and processing it, nothing major. Some will be somewhat browser based, so you need to be experienced with browsers. We'll be working with some of the social sites and Youtube, etc., so familiarity with them is important.
I believe "looks" are important too, so your design/GUI skills need to be good also.
