Content Needed For Shangrla Radio Prior To Major Launch

Hi folks,

I am looking for educational content in the form of audio articles, interviews, teleseminars or just short informative audio clips to include in the educational slots on my Radio Station Shangrla Radio.

The purpose of the station is to provide great music for people to listen to while they work on their business and at the same time provide motivation and education in the form of "audio articles" and the like, broadcast throughout the day and night.

If you have, or can produce an audio in mp3 format that provides good quality educational value then this is for you. The audio can take the form of any of the following:

• A short informational audio tip of no more than 3 to 5 minutes. A website address can be included. However, it must NOT sound like an ad.
  
• A ten to fifteen minute or less audio article split into 2 or 3 five minute segments (to allow for music every 5 minutes) with an audio equivalent of a resource box that will include your web address.
  
• A full recording of a teleseminar edited to last no longer than 45 minutes split into 3 15 minute segments to allow for ads, song tracks and station ID's in between. Our news feed will automatically start at the top of each hour and will last for 5 minutes. So, any longer than 45 minutes would result in your broadcast being truncated. This type of content will be aired during our speciality education slots, tentatively scheduled for between 11pm and 1am and additionally midday and 2pm UK time every weekday.
  
• An Interview with a Guru or specialist that you have either carried out yourself or have the rights to broadcast. The latter would need to be proven. Again split into 15 minute segments for the same reasons
  
• The last, but not necessarily the final option would be to send out the standard "If you could just ask one question of .....? What would it be?" email to yours and your JV partners list and forward the questions to me. I will set up a skype call between us and interview you based on the questions. I would then schedule the interview to be aired at an appropriate time on Shangrla Radio.

Now, clearly, these clips would need to be of a professional standard (check out the station to hear the type of standard I'm refering to). If you, as a contributor, cannot produce a decent clip yourself, there are any number of voice over artists available on elance etc. that will do it for you. Alternatively I can get my VO artists to do it for you. Just PM me.

There are 20 broadcasting hours per week available within the Educational segment of the station, at the moment, in which I can run the last three options, so although limited there is plenty of room for good content.

At the moment we are running public service ads and my own product ads but I want to replace the public service ads with short motivational/educational tips and to replace the news slot with a 5 minute roundup of Internet Marketing ideas.

The best way to get a feeling for how the station works is to listen to it for an hour or so, you will get all the basic componants that way. You can listen in at Shangrla Radio - Homepage. If your a MAC user allow Flip 4 Mac to control all Windows media in your browser. That should allow Quicktime (which Flip 4 Mac runs through) to control the stream.

We have some great contacts in the music/radio business who are creating quite a buzz about the station within the industry and we are about to launch the station bigtime to the general public, with new acts and speciality shows planned (Blues Hour tonight - 18/08/2010 - at 9:00pm UK time and a blast back to the late 60's early 70's psychedelia/underground rock tomorrow night at 8:00pm UK time).

This means our listener count will be growing massively over the next few months and the opportunity to reach new and fresh prospects is growing with it.

PS: We are experimenting with a new stream server and making small changes prior to launch at the moment. So, if you do happen to visit during a down period it will only be for a few minutes so just revisit a little later.
