Self Improvement Gifts Wanted For BIG January Giveaway Event

hi guys,

i know that not everyone is hot on doing giveaways, but
if you are in the SELF IMPROVEMENT area at all then the
giveaway i am currently promoting is well worth a look:

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

it is important to note that we are NOT taking IM gifts
UNLESS they are directly related to the self help niches.
i want to make that clear so as not to waste your time.

for those who DO have one or more gifts that suit the
theme of the giveaway, joining up will be well worth
your time.

WHAT IS IT? AND WHO WILL BE RUNNING IT?

this is actually the 5th event in the series, which is
the Self Improvement Gifts Giveaway run each January by
Stephanie Mulac.

this year she has partnered up with Dr. Joe Rubino (self
esteem expert) and Carolyn Hansen (health and fitness)
to make this the largest of her events so far.

WHEN IS THE LAUNCH DATE?

currently we are signing about 100 contributors per day
to the event which will open on January 6th. we have more
than 600 people signed up as gift contributors and we
still have more than 3 weeks until the doors open.
so this event WILL provide a lot of leads for those
who participate.

HOW MANY REGISTRATIONS?

it is too early to guess the number of visitors that this
event will pull in, but based on what i have seen in the
past for these event organizers i would say about 30,000
visitors will register. when Joe and Carolyn run their
last event 6 months ago they pulled in 20,000 new signups
with 650 contributors. i think we might have twice that
number by the time we open.

FACEBOOK

Stephanie has made it her mission to integrate Facebook
into this even as tightly as possible, so you will find
various tools in the contributor's area that will help
to improve the turnout and increase the likelihood that
this even will go viral. we are not sure to what extent
we can harness users on Facebook, but if it can be done
you'll see it done in this event!

TESTIMONIALS

OK, that's all i want to say for now as this is not
supposed to be a sales letter, but we do want to see
you over there if you'd like to get on board.

lastly, here are some testimonials sent in by JV partners
after the last event run by Carolyn and Joe. these are

placed in the top 10 in terms of the number of leads they

    quick update:

    we're having a contest over the next 72 hours to see who can recruit the most JV partners to the event in that time frame. you'll pick up 50 percent instant commissions on a $97 upgrade (which is 33 percent more popular than the $27 upgrade), and the winner gets $100 to their paypal account on monday.

    i guess the jv contest worked OK, although i'm not sure who won that yet (someone else is handling the contest). but now we have more than 930 gift contributors signed up after 11 days and we still have another 16 days to go before everyone starts sending traffic to the event.

    so, plenty of time still to join if you want to take advantage of this event and pick up subscribers in the self improvement area. see the initial post for details.

      update: over 1000 JV's have signed up for this event and we have paid out more than $1000 so far in commissions to those who have signed up other JVs. still another 2 weeks before we put out the door mat and ask people to send traffic, so plenty of time left to get your gift in for this self improvement giveaway event and grow your subscriber list.

      the winner for the 72-hour JV contest i mentioned last friday was Andrew Loney. he picked up $100 for sending a slew of new JV's on the last day of the contest.

      also, we'll be running further contests, more about which i'll tell you later...

    more than 1200 gift contributors have now signed up for the Self Improvement Gifts 5 giveaway event, with 9 days left to go before we open the doors on January 6.

    if you are familiar with these events you will know that you want to be ranked near the top of the list when the tsunami of traffic arrives during the first few days of the event. so here are some tips to secure the most possible subscribers:

    [1] get your gift in now, before the log jam happens a couple of days before the event opens. so many people put it off until the last minute and then wonder why admin is not approving their gift. if you are still in the approval queue on launch day you lose out.

    [2] use the Facebook Like button on the JV invite page to secure 100 points to get your gift ranked higher. only about 12 percent of JVs have done this, so a lot of them are missing out on an easy way to get extra subscribers. plus the Like button has your affiliate ID embedded into it.

    [3] same deal come launch day, use our second Facebook Like button to pull in members and both earn commissions and get more points to rank your gift higher. we intend to harness Facebook for all it is worth in this event.

    [4] tell your list about the event more than once. they won't always take action the first time they hear about a giveaway, especially as a lot of giveaways turn out to be low quality. but this one has an excellent reputation for keeping both JVs and subscribers happy.

    [5] take the upsell on the JV OTO to get more exposure for your gifts. it is more popular than the downsell by a ratio of 4 to 3. the extra subscribers you pickup due to going with the upsell more than makes up for the money spent and is what makes these giveaways well worth doing.

    also, i mentioned in another thread that if you are in the top 30 on the JV leaderboard when the event closes on January 31 you will be in the running for a random prize drawing which is a solo mailout to the 170,000 subscribers we have on our self help lists. of course, first prize winner gets a solo mailing too.
