In Search of a Sponsor - Local Niche, Online and Offline

At first I'd like to give a bit of info on my background. I'm a former newspaper editor and current writer. The newspaper went under due to poor sales (and ancient sales tactics). I proposed the idea of moving the paper online, but the owner wasn't exactly up-to-date either, and he shrugged off the idea.

This was two years ago. In the time since I left the paper, I've dived into online moneymaking. Mostly content writing, but last September I really gave IM and CPA a shot and did pretty great (by my standards).

My desire to create a local online newspaper/magazine never faded, and I've been formulating plans in my head for a long time. I finally registered the domain name and started building the site a few days ago.

Unfortunately, I can't really afford to give it my full attention at the moment. Although I only work part time, my income is essential to my family.

About my project
I have a lot of confidence in my project for a few reasons. This is familiar territory. I have a solid plan for selling ads and generating traffic. I still have media ties and will be able to utilize some powerful advertising platforms to bring in visitors.

I have experienced ad sales reps at the ready, so generating money will be no problem. These are sales reps who already handle advertising needs for local businesses.

The site is coming along well for the limited amount of time I can devote to it. I have a lot of ideas, a lot of resources, I just don't have the time to stop working for upfront payments.

I really have no idea if anyone would sponsor this sort of endeavor, but I wanted to at least propose the idea. The amount I would need is $200-$400, and the conditions of repayment are completely up to you. This amount of money would allow me to take a week or two off of my "real job" and complete the site to 100% readiness.

I'm an open book, if you want more details or want to talk, I am happy to answer any questions.

As I already said, I have no idea if this is something anyone would be interested in sponsoring, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Thanks so much, and feel free to PM me.
