Hi Warriors,

Dee Ferdinand here... A few moments ago in WSO I launched WP Venture.
I never thought that it would sell out more than 300 copies. Basically the plugin
itself manage the gift of contributors and create for them a Giveaway Event

There are several questions that I have always had in my mind. We all learn that GIVEAWAY has its power and after a few turns in several years. People are starting to do JV Giveaway Events like a TOY!

Why do people create Giveaway? For the Money or List
Why do people gift free products? To Educate or To Monetize
Why most massive giveaway focus on upgrade? how about no upgrade?
Why do Marketers are getting doubtful when joining giveaway?

How do you define success in giveaway project? If you run one or you join one as contributor what do you consider a success ?

I think these are some interesting topics.

But here is the GAME CHANGER. I am not trying to invite here but I want you to see the bigger picture! Adswap is starting to look like giveaway but on guerilla mode. The conversion of it is getting lower and lower!

There is no more game about how big your list! How many clicks can you send to my gift ? Are they all uniques?

If you have not seen in my WSO then you will see why I shutdown many of Massive Giveaway invitation and only Join Mini Giveaway Event

PRO of Mini Giveaway Events

There is no doubt that for me Mini Giveaway Event helps contributor to build bigger list and got better conversion and visitors have free will to choose which give they want to get and sign up to contributor landing page

Better conversion which can leads to long term relationship at will of subscribers

PRO of Massive Giveaway Events

The owner of the massive giveaway event can remind the subscribers who register for download to grab the gifts as the event happens which push repeat traffic at WILL. This will also follow with products to monetize

CON of Mini Giveaway Events

For Event Owner, the lists are not getting through one channel of landing page which resulted that repeat traffic is unlikely.

For Contributor, there is usually no extra points for gift ranking since they are not rewarded when inviting other JVs

CON of Massive Giveaway Events

Event Owner sometimes practice to turn on one time upgrade feature for the visitor to get all the products without opting in to contributor landing page. This makes mad the contributor for their hard earned efforts referring traffic

Contributor is allowed to submit junk products even though it does not really add value

For Contributor they get less results if the OTO is there and the list is getting saturated since all the gifts are look like the same

Breaking it down to bottomline, there are benefits and cons that these two modules can happen for better conversion and build long term relationship

After a few survey that I conduct in the forum and with experts in the field there are somewhat requires some modification.

Event Owner - Must reciprocate traffic / clicks that are given by high traffic contributors this makes them happy to even promote next product

Contributor - must have the willingness to join and promote on the day and commit to giveaway rules and stick to help out

in conclusion "Giveaway events must create values in the eyes of visitors and sees that contributors are like their pathway to help reach their online income faster. Event owners must be responsible to reciprocate each traffic send by matching click to the contributor efforts. Contributors should commit to promote and build stronger connection to his list by offering real value product that visitors can really gain good value"

    Definitely promotion. If the giveaway owner and contributors don't promote, the giveaway will never be seen. I've seen many a giveaway where only a few contributors promoted, and the results were mediocre.
