Seeking: Experienced PLM for Launch of Unique Online Dating Product
Hello Fellow Warriors,
We are working towards launching an online dating product for men this coming holiday season called the Click Magnet Dating System (www.ClickMagnetDating.com) and are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Product Launch Manager to help us blow this thing out of the water.
The product we're taking to market is very unique because it's based on an actual system that's been implemented for hundreds of clients who have paid our company, Virtual Dating Assistants (ViDA), an average of $700 per month to get dates for them on various online dating sites. Some have called it 'outsourced online dating'.
For the past two years, we've been tracking 17+ variables across every icebreaker email we've sent on behalf of our clients, effectively breaking online dating down to a statistical science. And we have tons of credibility from the media with coverage from countless outlets like the Today Show, FOX & Friends and the front page of the Washington Post. Most importantly, the product is killer and it works. My team and I spent a lot of time and effort packing it tight with solid content, and after we complete our testing, it will be ready for a Q4 2011 launch.
We'd love to add an A-Player to our team for this project, and potentially many more product launches to come. The only caveat: we are not interested in paying a huge retainer up front. We already have most of the main elements in place and are serious so things will get done correctly and quickly on our end. So we're looking for someone who expects that the lion's share of his income will from commissions based on success with sales.

REQUIRED SKILLS / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Experience with past product launches, ideally with at least one evergreen launch within the dating niche.
- Formulate a clear product launch strategy and plan.
- Manage the execution of our launch marketing for maximum conversion.
- Perform the JV Manager role of implementing the strategy to attract the promotional support of JV partners.
- Provide expertise in the development of upsell strategy, including but not necessarily limited to continuity program.
- Contribute expertise towards design and implementation of membership site.
- Fix technical issues under pressure, namely unforeseen problems that could occur during the launch.
BENEFICIAL SKILLS / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Critique copy and communications including the email sequence and sales letter (we have a good copywriter, but would ideally like someone with direct response copywriting experience to point out any areas of weakness and help increase perceived value of free content).
- Provide expertise on some of the more technical aspects such as implementation of a self-managed affiliate program.
- Utilize pre-existing JV and affiliate relationships.
- Contribute ad buying expertise (i.e. ad networks, PPC, CPM, etc.)
- Implement and use tools like OptimizePress, Kajabi and Evergreen Business System.
