Looking For Someone in Boston, Philly, Tampa, or Other Cities To Help Me Expand My Offline Business
My success depends a lot on being a local company though, and being able to meet face to face with potential clients is very important for converting sales. That is why I'm searching for someone. I'm interested in talking to people about a potential joint venture, where we could partner up in an effort to get more clients and make some nice money.
In the next few months, I am hoping to expand into 3-4 new cities. I have a large list of cities that I am interested in, though the cities mentioned above, plus San Francisco, Seattle, Atlanta, and Denver are on my short list. Nearly any large, major city in the US is something I would consider though. The cities I am already working in include Baltimore, DC, Chicago, Miami, and Orlando. Other cities that I will not expand into at this time include Dallas, New York, and Sacramento.
Here is what I propose:
- I would handle all marketing, getting potential clients to contact us via email or phone.
- You would handle any email and phone responses, and meet potential clients face to face.
- I would handle all fulfillment. Your responsibilities would only involve meeting with people and gathering project info, and you would have no expenses, other than maybe taking a few prospects to lunch.
- Though my marketing works well, going to local free networking events is a really great way to get large clients. I will teach you what I do to get clients using these methods, and I'd like you to be open to this type of promotion.
I would pay you a third of the total revenue for each sale. For a typical client, this works out to roughly half of the profit. If we closed a $3000 website creation deal (which is fairly typical), I would pay you $1000.
For large clients, I would probably fly in, and we would both meet with the client. I also expect to come to each city 1-3 times per year to network locally, and discuss strategy in person.
This is perfect for anyone who is looking to make some good money, without having to worry about dealing with actually working on the design and development of websites. The more time you can devote to it, the more we'll both end up making. Someone with a flexible schedule is ideal, because it's best to meet with clients during the day on weekdays, and free networking events in the evenings are a fantastic way to get new clients.
If anyone is interested, please let me know via PM. I think this could really be a good opportunity for the right person, and we could both increase our income. If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them.
