Current traffic strategy
We using the traditional link building services provided by the latest packages offered ZENO seo. This include bookmarking, article submission, directory submission and press-releases. We will also soon add PPC. However, the main traffic driving strategy is to form joint ventures with companies in wine and hospitality that want to get access to our customers.
Technical and practical issues
The site has been created in Wordpress and uses FastSpring as a back-end. This enables easy cross-matching of products in the shopping cart system. Although the site does not have a fixed affiliate system, however the Split-pay system provided by FastSpring creates affiliated codes manually and pays every 14 days.
Conversion figures
The site was only launched last week so the site is too fresh to give accurate conversion figures. However, the site managed to get a sale and a joint venture application after 24 hours of releasing the site's first press release.
What we are seeking
At the moment we are seeking joint venture partners mainly to drive warm traffic to the site, but are also interested in partners that can provide content and has connections in the wine industry.
