LOOKING FOR MENTOR (My Promise Inside)

Hello fellow Warriors.

I've started a separate thread after I've started to open up about my goals in the thread where I asked some advice about my new (and first) own website.

I actually had a lot of good advice here and there, but then I got kinda lost in it. So I decided to find myself a guide.

Sure I could buy a course in WSO and sign up for a seminar or something .. but right now I'm broke as a joke .. what I have now a lot of motivation, I'm dedicated to doing whatever it takes to succeed in my goal, because I believe that I have no choice rather then pursuing them, because that's the only way I can live my dream. I think long term, no rush, I don't sweat the process I just do things habitually day by day, I understand that I even may "fail" (I put those in quotes because I believe that there's no such thing as failure, just learning experience).

If you are reading this and see that you have the ability to guide me, but still in doubts, I understand. You probably feel that I might waste your time and just drop it all after some hard times, and that's frustrating for sure.
But hey, I'm not asking you to do my job .. all I want is guidance, someone who has been there and someone who can assure me that I'm on the right track, and give me little corrections along my path. That's all I ask.

Here's a little about me and my goals:

I'm dedicated to having a mobile lifestyle. I dream about traveling the world and having a taste of different cultures, I dream about different activities, like flying the airplane, driving a sports car, training martial arts (like king-fu in china, or jiu-jitsu at the beach of Sao Paolo), I want to learn to dance salsa and tango and I want to do it at the actuall motherlad of those dances.

To do all that I need TIME + MOBILITY. That's why I came here. I see IM as a good way to learn how to automate my income, so I have more time to do the activities I want to do.

Here's a little about my background:

I went to Internet a long time ago and started to make websites for various clients. I ended up as a webmaster and a project manager. But that job took me even further away of my goals. Because of I've been working in a field of Services I had to answer the phone calls very often, to solve various problems (and they always occur, and the more clients you have more often they occur). And that's just exhausting and eats my time. Also I had to spend a lot of time in finding those clients.
After a while I decided to STOP. Because I understood that if I continue working in the Services field I will never make it to a mobility lifestyle and automated income.

Here's what I've done so far:

Sure I'm not a blank page now. I have already done some job. But mostly I just don't know what am I doing and basically learning in the process (I got this habbit from Martial Arts and other physical activities I do like Social Dynamics and Pick-Up (Dating)).
Anyway. Here's what I've done so far:
I've picked up a niche, and promoting access to various Tattoo Galleries.
At first I just picked one product and decided to make one landing page, but then I found a lot more Tattoo websites which offer different but good value.

here's the link ( Tattoo Spot | On-Line Tattoo Magazine )
Note: Please don't comment on my website in this thread.

Ultimately I don't know why I picked the tattoo niche.. It's one of the first thing that popped up, and keyword research gave me some nice results where I had around 20 key phrases with low competition.

There are a lot of websites which are looking for affiliate marketers in that niche, some specific, some are just the same old tattoo designs but with a different brands (I consider those scams).

Overall I am promoting 4 different Tattoo Design databases (from all the websites I've seen, those are the best for real), each of those offer different value (visitors will see that in my reviews) as well as 2 specific websites which are dedicated to Chinese and Japanese symbol tattoos and their meanings, as well as custom translations.. ofcourse I get affiliate commision (75%) from each of those websites I promote (6 websites overall). This is the way I'm trying to monetise the website.

A tattoo niche is pretty crouded BTW so it surely converts and people make sales, and I surely have competitors .. that's why I took some time to make a cool layout and spent some time on usability .. you know .. to stand out from my competitors (and a sexy layout is my strong side for sure, but unfortinatelly the only one).

What am I looking for in a Mentor-Student relationship.

Right now I'm tracking my journey and constantly writing to-do lists which I follow up every day, and then write a TO-DO for a next day. This goes day by day and I move forward.

To motivate myself I took a 90 day challenge and made a promice to my friend, that if one day he will not recieve the report on what I have done and a To-Do list for the next day, then he can pick a day where I will come to his place and clean the bathroom, the floors in the appartement, and all the dishes (and believe me, he has the dirtiest place ever, and I'm not a big fan of cleaning the crap out of his toilet).

So if we finally agree on this student-mentor relationship, I'm going to send my To-Do lists and reports every day as well (or start a blog if nescessary), so you can keep eyes on my progress and give me guidance.

My Promice

I promice to be a dedicated student, I promise to work on a daily basis (5 days a week, 4-6 hours), I promice not to ask dumb questions before I actually searched Google or Warrior Forum, I promise not to waste your time and if you actually told me to read something dedicated to a topic which will help me grow then I WILL.

The End

It was quite a bigTopen-letter, so HUGE thanks for giving me your time and reading this!

Please tell me what you think. And feel free to PM.

Respect,
Valentine.
