Here's What I'm Looking For Tell Me If You Think I'll Find It Here

Hello everyone,

What I'm about to post has nothing to do with the sale of a product at this point.
If this is the wrong place to post, I'll remove it. Having dispensed with those statements, I'll move on to the reason for this post.

A bit about me and my background.
This is going to be brief and to the point, If you have questions, feel free to pm me or ask here.

I'm 48 years old with a beautiful family that depends on me and my ability to make good decisions.
I've been in sales and marketing for the last 25 years and have had some pretty decent success. In that time, I've worked with three startup companies and one company that was interested in expanding internationally. All of these companies are still successful, or have been bought by larger companies.

My expertise has been in market approach and the development of the sales process. For the last 2 years, I have worked with a local medical company to develop a program for hospital ORs to be more efficient and profitable by cutting costs on each surgical procedure. That contract ended in Feb. and I am currently working in medical software and IT sales.

For the last two years I have been dabbling in internet marketing (part-time) with some modest success, although I haven't been diligent in my attention and approach.

That changes today. I've helped many company owners become wealthy.
It's time to do it for my family, and for those willing to learn and follow a process.

Like many of you, I have experienced a bit of the ill affects of the current economy.
I believe that most of it is manufactured in the government and hyped by the media. Many sit and watch the gloom and doom stories and begin to take ownership of it in their own households, thus compounding the problem.

Your recession will end sooner if you'll turn off the television and radio and get busy making money.

Here's what I'm looking for.
For the last couple of years, I have been doing research and testing ways to make money online.
In that time, I haven't become wealthy from my efforts, however, I have had enough success to realize the potential that exist in many markets here.
While navigating this medium for income potential, I have bought many programs and eBooks.

Here's what I've found in most instances.
1. The content was total garbage, incoherent and useless. I don't see how some of these people ever figured out how to get online much less sell a product.
2. The information was so out of date that it wasn't useable.
3. The information was great, but it was so far beyond my level I couldn't understand most of it, much less use it.
4. They're so expensive that most can't afford them.
5. The information was better than I expected and when applied delivered the expected results.
For the past year, I have worked on an eBook for people wanting take advantage of the opportunities available online.
I've written it in a straight forward manner that's easy to understand and apply.
It is currently finished, through the first edit and ready for market.

Now to the meat and potatoes of what I'm looking for.

I'm looking for a partner, not a JV but a true partner.
I'm looking for someone that has some experience with product launches and an existing substantial list.
Preferably, someone with a bit of technical expertise that can help develop the web presence and the different parts of the website.
This may be one person or it may be more, I'm interested to see where it leads from the responses I get.
I want to do a prelaunch pretty quickly, get some feed-back on the product, and then a full launch.
With this product, I would also like to develop the website into a membership site with videos and audios that further define the processes.

If you're looking to make money with no work, don't reply.
If you don't care about the people you sell to, don't reply.

If you have some of the attributes I've listed above and you can follow through, let's open a dialogue.

Wishing you success,
Joe

I've helped many company owners become wealthy.

If this is true, it seems you can work just fine on your own.

    • So your kind of like the news...you pick one quote...out of context and look for a way to make a negative comment.(I've helped many company owners become wealthy.
It's time to do it for my family, and for those willing to learn and follow a process.) If you're not interested after you read a post then move along.

The point is pooling intellectual resources and shortening the curve.

You may get a better response over in the JV section.

    Hello Joe,

I don't want to sound negative or for you to take this the wrong way, but if someone is already successful here online without you then what do you bring to the table?

I think that is the question that you need to be able to explain to potential partner.
You have helped businesses offline become more successful but how would that translate online.

It seems to me that you would have to establish that same success here online first before you could expect a partner or a person to do a J.V. with you on a project.

For the last 2 years, I have worked with a local medical company to develop a program for hospital ORs to be more efficient and profitable by cutting costs on each surgical procedure.
I would find a way to bring this knowledge forward and develop it in a way that you could J.V. with someone who has a big list and give them the lion's share of the profit in exchange for subscribers to your own list.

Then work on developing more products that you could sell to your own list.

    Matt

    • Hi Matt,
Thanks for the reply. Your comments and questions make me realize that maybe I haven't been completely clear about what I'm looking for.

I don't want to sound negative or for you to take this the wrong way, but if someone is already successful here online without you then what do you bring to the table?
You're right, a "guru that's raking in the $$$" would have no reason to partner.
I'm not looking for someone that's wildly successful, just someone that has had some success, has some technical ability, has the beginnings of a good list (1500 to 2500), cares about the people they sell to and is in this for the long term. I'm looking for someone that is looking to take their success to the next level.
Here's what I bring to the table:
1.) 25 years of sales and marketing experience (it's not so different online as it is in the physicial world).
2.) A readymade product that gets the beginner started of properly, ready for market including eBook domain name web hosting and some great ideas.
3.) The ability to write and promote the product.
4.) The unbreakable intention to turn this into a sustainable long term business that produces a 7 figure income and makes it possible for me to spend more time with my family.
5.) The desire to help others who want to help themselves.
6.) Here's one of the most important peices. You all know the term "freebie seeker"? These are the people that take advantage of all of the free offers, but never seem to buy anything. The truth is these are just people (for the most part) that have a very tight budget and are looking for a way to improve their earning potential. I've discovered a way to turn these people into some of your most loyal paying customers. This is a technique that is available to everyone, however, it's amazing how little it's is being used.

So there's a partial list of what I bring to the table, I'm happy to entertain any offers and answer all questions.

I also want to thank everyone for the comments, let's keep the dialogue going and get this project launched.

      Thanks to all,
      Joe

You're probably looking in the wrong place. The IM world is so bizarre and it tends to be at odds with many conventional ways of doing business. Your post was met with scorn and skepticism because in many people's eyes 'you're an outsider and have nothing to offer.'

The majority that are in IM all sell the same thing. The info on 'how to make it big,' but they've 'never made it' so it's one big circle of recycled trash.

I like to follow offline guys and apply those techniques to running an online business. One of my favorite's is Marc Mcclure. He's an overall marketing/sales maven and much of what he discusses is applicable in any environment. He's got an e-book for like 50 bucks which is fantastic.
