Best advice I can offer you:

Marry her so that she can be confident in your commitment to the family you decided to create and so that you can teach your child how important that commitment is.

I imagine it is quite challenging but if there is "almost no hope" that means that there is a job to be found and I would recommend applying for every job you can and sending out as many resumes as you can print.

My skills... I'm smart and intelligent, I most often find it easy to learn new things and can do it in a short time if I focus enough on it. I am motivated and willing to spend money to make money.

My flaws... I find it hard to focus when I don't see a clear goal in front of me and often when I don't succeed I get frustrated and annoyed, blame someone else on my misfortunes and on a couple of occasions I almost gave up on IM, but I wont!

I want to succeed and I WILL! (with a little help of course )

Getting down to business then.

There is some good advice here in this thread, but also in others. So do like I do, and learn a little bit from everyone here and other similar forums of course.

Anyway, as you're strapped for cash and you will need to invest it in your business, I will be more than happy to coach/mentor you in exchange for a testimonial - how's that for a price? To sweeten the deal, I will be happy to call you at my expense too.

I am currently helping a couple of other people (not in WF) and want to progress more into a "coaching role" as I can put my experience to good use as well as I sincerely like to see people succeed - that is reward in itself, it really is!

Not that I don't need money right now (as I do!), but I may as well help others while in the meantime, I recover from some projects that didn't go to plan.

I will now give you a brief overview of how you need to start in this long journey of yours - that of becoming a successful entrepreneur.

Making money on the internet or anyway, becoming a successful entrepreneur, is not so much about which method you use or apply anyone's skill/knowledge or franchise as the "magic bullet". It's all about the person you are now and the person you need to become to achieve that goal.

Yes, of course you do need a proven method, a business plan or some sort of written goal (if nothing else) in order to become financially successful, but as they say "power is nothing without control", and right now, you literally don't have any control! Sorry to be so blunt and certainly don't mean to offend, but that's just the way it is.

But that's soon to change right?

My particular approach to helping anyone is to look at them holistically and not as a symptom and therefore a cure. This means that before giving you a method to use to make money, you have to first work on... you! But don't worry - this isn't as lengthy as it seems - it's just a necessary part of the process, but one that will integrate perfectly with also making money. And on top of that, it won't be boring at all. I like to make everything I do as fun as possible!

What I see right away is the age-old problem of "not knowing what you want". All your frustrations, impatience and lack of success, come simply form that and only that.

Knowing what you want to do (or achieve), can seem complicated but with a series of questions, you can soon become clear on precisely what it is that you want to achieve and more importantly, by when!

It's no use saying "I need to at least be able to pay the rent/mortgage each month and put food on the table" but rather, "I want to earn $3,000 each month through passive income from the sale of my eBook, within the next 90 days" - for instance....

So whose help you decide to take in the end, or if you prefer to shortcut the process and simply work on making money only, then be sure you take this advice with you - that of being clear about what you want. First important rule.

Aside helping you from a psychological point of view, of course I will be able to help you from an Internet Marketing aspect and will work on some strategies based on my experience, but directly tied to your goals.

To begin with start by "shifting" your thoughts and start to "work ON your business" and not "IN your business". Either way you're working, just that if you shift your perspective, you inherently change how you do things.

You see, coaching you using only a "paint by numbers" approach can work, but in situations like yours where you're limited on financial resources and time, what will happen (ironically as it may sound), is that you will encounter a few setbacks (some people like to call them "failures" but I don't!) that will only put additional pressure, make you spend more money in order to recover the loss you just incurred and (more than likely), in the end be where you are today, financially... but with less money of course! It's just simply... soul-destroying and don't recommend you doing it.

Sure, it's going to be tough at first, but trust me, I (and many others) have been there and there's just no shortcut method you can use such as in paying someone to use "their" financial system/coaching to guarantee your success - not in your state of mind and in the time-scale that you need to make it all happen by.

This is a fundamental mistake a lot of people make and the basis by which a lot of eBooks or eCourses are founded on - that of the buyer rationalizing that "if I buy this (very expensive product) and follow all the instructions, I will make my money back at the end of the month... 2 months max!" - now tell me that hasn't happened to you! Well, that's a good strategy to use to sell, but (in your case), to not "buy into"...


Am I implying you will not make it in a short period of time? Not at all - I think you will soon experience some positive cashflow - albeit in proportion to as much as you can afford to invest, and most of all, in proportion to the (perceived) value that you bring into the marketplace - very, very important factor!

In other words, if you have $1,000 to invest, don't expect a month later to comeback with double or more. Well, yes, you could, but it's not likely.

Furthermore, I seriously doubt anyone here will honestly recommend any one system they have and promise (if not guarantee), your success. Not because their system wouldn't achieve that, but because there are too many factors to consider (not the least... "you"!), that can influence the outcome (ie: results).

So can you blame them for not giving such guarantees? I certainly wouldn't do it!

OK... let me clarify that last statement.

Of course most marketers do "guarantee" your success or your money back - but are they really guaranteeing your "success" or are they guaranteeing you'll get your money back if you're not successful? (hint: look at their disclaimer on how much money you will make).

By the way, in some cases they will not give your money back unless you've proven that you followed all their instructions and... too bad if you ran out of money for advertising or other expenses in the process and couldn't continue! How much is that guarantee worth now?

Therefore you should shift your focus to "how can I help or give something of value to a certain market" as opposed to "how can I double my money selling to a certain market". This is very fundamental for long-term growth.

To sum it all up then, you need to "change your mind to change your (financial) life" first, then everything else will happen, and quickly too!

In case you need to know my qualifications and basis for helping you... these are based on trainings from some of the more popular life coaches (you will know the names - no need to mention), continual studies into mind development and of course, my over 10 years in Internet Marketing together with well over 35 years of offline business experience, working with some of the biggest corporations providing (primarily) IT services.

All of these factors have created experiences which have produced results and is the culmination of all of this that form the basis to be able to help you with. I believe I am successful - though currently I'm in "financial recovery" mode (it happens to the best of us sometimes - look at most of the famous millionaires!), but that doesn't take away from my knowledge and experience that I can give.

I'm certainly no guru - don't pretend to be one now or ever expect to be one in the future. We're all evolving beings after all and we'll never achieve enough knowledge to become gurus (in my opinion), or else risk not growing further, if you start to think that you know everything.

Well firstly, thanks everybody for you responses. Those have been great.

@Mark: Although your idea is great and will sure bring ins some traffic and money, it wont work out as great for me. Since English is my 2nd language it takes a longer time for me to write articles than other people.
But I definitely had the wrong idea about article marketing as I thought it would only bring in short term traffic and you'd have to write 10 articles daily for a long long time to keep the traffic going.

@Those who wanted me to marry her: Marriage is not such a big thing here in Iceland like it is oversees, there is no pressure on us to get married, not from my parents or hers. I don't think it matters at all, we have been together for over 3 years and love each other. We don't see the reason why we should have to get married.

@Those who wanted to know my skills: It's hard to list out my skills since I haven't made any decent money yet. But I'm comfortable with affiliate marketing and I know how to put up a simple website or a wordpress blog.
In the coming months though, I would really like to create my own product and use Mike Filsaime's Buttefly Marketing manuscript to generate a passive income.
