Cryptocurrency Blog - My Journey to Authority
So, I've finally decided to create my own blog about cryptocurrencies and financial technology.
I see the amount of money that some of my clients earn (I'm a writer) and I want some of that too, dammit!
I'd like to share my journey with you, and hopefully we'll both learn something from the experience.
I have a bunch of topics lined up already and I'm about to publish my first post.
My strategy is as follows:
- Publish long-form content (2k-10k words)
- Make the content useful, shareable, and relatable to their problems
- Leverage my connections for guest posting
- Open a sponsored content section to start earning money
Thats about it as far as my strategy goes.
I will say that I flip-flopped a bit before I decided on my goal.
For example, at first, I wanted to start a writing agency JUST for fintech. I would be the go-to guy for anything related to content. I might still do this -- but later on.
Right now I know way too much about crypto to pass up - plus crypto is about fintech too right? My blog will just have a broader scope than most in the crypto game.
Let me share an interesting problem I have about this.
As a writer, you might think that I have some natural advantages when it comes to blogging. I mean, it's what I do every day, isn't it?
It is what I do, and I get sick of writing. All I do every goddamn day is sit down and write about the same topics over and over and over and over again -- and now I'm doing more of the same!
So here's something for you to consider.
There are no excuses. I don't want to write any more after I finish my 2500 words for the day, but I know that if I don't write more content, how will I ever get ahead? I'll be grinding out bullshit articles until the day I die.
So keep your chin up.
