As I said, I don't have a clue what I'm doing, I'm experimenting.

Looking for the path with least resistance that produces the biggest following.

Regular posting with hashtags is the key.

Avoid only putting a picture with many #.

Instagram allows you to put 30 hashtags per post but putting too many in a post will hinder your success.

Instagram is centered on storytelling. Have a story of 2 to 3 paragraphs and your pictures should complement your story. Chose well your hashtags and they should relate to your story.

The ultimate goal of Instagram marketing is to reach Instagram explorer page. Vary your hashtags. If you always use the same, Instagram's algorithm won't pay attention to what you are posting so your chances of reaching Instagram explorer page will disappear.

To be viral, a post needs to:

Add value to your audience
Help people
Inspire

So copywriting competencies are more important than photograph competencies to succeed with Instagram.

I don't know your goal with this tool but it can be a goldmine if used properly.

Instagram used to be easy, but with all the fake accounts spamming and such it is growing more difficult by the day. As with everything though there is a way to do it and I know you'll find that way.

It is hard to make people signup for anything at all. If you have a presence on other social media platforms, ask your followers there to join you on Instagram. Otherwise, it will hard to get a big number without a lot of advertising or some really cool content.

it's not just about following hashtags. You need to be active and get engagement if you want to place highly in Instagram feeds. That means not only liking people's posts, but also commenting on them.

You can gain a lot of followers by being creative, when it comes to Instagram caption ideas, you need to look beyond the one-word, obvious hashtags. Sure, you want to use those, too, but mix it up and use hashtags to tell part of your story. Be funny, ironic, or outrageous--just don't be BORING. Make the most of your bio URL. Change it up at least bi-weekly and use that clickable link in your bio to drive traffic to your newest or most popular content.

I have a ton of Insta experience and more then anything it is interaction with your followers. If someone sends you a message on Instagram,,, You have to answer it. Not putting you on blast in any way but I sent you a message and got no response. insta takes a lot of work actually a ton but it can be a goldmine...

You can grow organically on IG. Make 3 posts a day with trending hashtags in your niche. When to make these posts? If you have a business account you can check the analytics of your followers and it will tell you what times of day they are most active. That is important because then they will be more likely to see your posts. Also, search hashtags in the explore page that are in your niche and follow people. Or like their posts. Most of the time they will follow you and check your page out. I coached a friend on IG and she has over 4,000 followers that she gained in the past 6 months and didn't rely on paid advertising.

Instagram is one of the fastest growing lead generation platforms at the moment. I´m constantly hearing stories of people generating everything from 10 to 30+ targeted leads per day. (Including myself) But Instagram is also (like Facebook) one of the platforms which don´t flash its secrets in your face at first glance.

Having been an "Instagrammer" for a while now, I managed to grow 7 relatively large Instagram accounts, but it wasn´t easy and it still isn´t. Only today I have much more momentum than when I started because I sat down and studied almost everything there is to study about Instagram and lead generation on Autopilot.

The best 5 "secrets" I can give you right here is:

1. Be unique and heartfelt with your content. (What comes from the heart is never off)

2. Ask yourself - if YOU would follow your account?

3. Begin not just following random people and accounts but find 5 large accounts in YOUR niche which you follow and then start following these account´s followers...

4. Some of these larger accounts post once every hour. WHEN they post you´ll get a notification. Right after that is when you follow their followers who then (because they're now online to check that larger leader´s post) will follow you back (at least a bunch of them) This way you begin getting TARGETED followers, who are already interested in what YOU offer. Makes sense?

5. When your account has reached around 5000 targeted followers, begin offering shoutouts to people with a smaller number of followers.

And finally - once you´re there... Begin thinking about automation of your messaging...

As you can hear Instagram is "not just what you see on the surface". There´s a lot of "hidden secrets" which when you know them and begin understanding how Instagram works, you´ll start finding great pleasure in seeing your results grow daily...

And finally, don´t believe it´s all about followers. It´s about QUALITY followers and quality engagement.

How is your account going? From what I have seen, interacting with other members does really help. Like, comment, follow others. But you have to do it frequently to really grow. Post at least once per day.
