[-- WARRIOR QUIZ PATH --] Journey To Make $10,000 Per Week With Ads & Quizzes

I am starting a Quiz Site to which I am going drive traffic from social media and monetize it with CPM ads.

My prerequisites

Domain - $1 from Ionos
Hosting - free trial from Digital Ocean
Quizé Plugin - $29.99
Content - 10-15 quizzes to start, then 3-5 quizzes each week

The Work Plan - invest as little money as possible in everything that is needed to sustain the site. To do as much as possible myself until I can generate enough money to outsource.

Steps:

Create engaging quizzes
Get approved to run ads
Drive traffic to the site
Work analytics
Improve
Repeat!

Good one! Do you have a time frame in mind? You can change the time later if needed but good to start a 'path' thread with a target date to reach your goal.

Yes, initial time period is 2 months, when my Digital Ocean free trial is going to expire. I need to make profit to cover all investment I already did, make revenue to pay ongoing bills (hosting), + make profit on top of that.

The amount invested isn't big, so the plan looks pretty simple and realistic to me!

    Yesterday:

Website is live, theme configured, plugins installed, etc
Without going too deep research, I did some basic SEO.
Set privacy policy pages necessary to run ads
Created 6 quizzes - 4 more to go.

It was a good first day, a lot was accomplished, a lot more to start with. I don't want to deplete my enthusiasm, so I won't be pushing too hard until I hate myself, but rather create plan for each day and perform at least one task per day, even if it's just 1 quiz or something small.

59 days to go to make back what invested + earn to pay for the hosting and bills ongoing.

    Day 2:

Create 4 more quizzes so it's 10 in total - priority task!
Research on groups and forums from where to drive traffic
    Create social media accounts

    Yesterday:

Created more quizzes (now 10 in total, cars/games/movies/music)
Made a list of topics within the same niches to create more quizzes.
Did research on where potentially I can share links to my quizzes

58 days to go to make back what invested + earn to pay for the hosting and bills ongoing.
    I feel positive about it!

    Day 3:

The plan is to create more quizzes, at least a couple each day. I want the site to be constantly updated and I believe that with time all my efforts will start paying off. The first goal is to make profit within the first 2 months.

I will work more today on the site and update on what I did tomorrow.

Created few more quizzes (movies & games), now I have 15 in total
Updated the site a bit, added about us pages, contact, and ToS
Submitted my site to Hooligan Media, Media.net, and AdSense

    Day 4:

Received approval from Hooligan Media - that was fast! Didn't hear anything from AdSense & Media.net yet. Installed Hooligan tags and everything, now waiting for the dashboard to be activated.

I am going to create 1-2 more quizzes today and share some links to the related social media and see how it goes in terms of traffic performance and revenue.

    57 days to go!

      Hi Rosario

I am in the process of looking to change ad networks. I hadn't heard of Hooligan media until you post.

Do they have 100% fill rates?
      What is your average eCPM?
      Are the ads good quality?

Installed Hooligan Media tags on the site
Shared my links to Facebook groups, Reddit, and some forums
    Did initial analysis

The Quiz creation process is very important, so no matter what I want to keep producing at least 1 quiz a day while I do other tasks as well. I want to drive traffic to the site to learn which sources work the best in terms of performance and traffic volumes.

    Day 5:

There are a some visitors that came from my links, nothing much yet, revenue looks like $1.82 which seems to be awesome results from a couple of visits. I will check the analytics on performance. I will distribute some more links today and hopefully will make some earnings. I want to learn also how to post my links without getting banned, so I will do more research on that today.

A little help for here. You can purchase a signature and link to your website. Here is a link to help you get started. - https://www.warriorforum.com/warrior...-problems.html

Just do not put links or refer to your signature in posts and you will be fine.

    Made slightly over 2 bucks
Posted more links, some stayed, some were deleted
Started adding URL parameters so I can properly track them in Google Analytics
    Created 2 more quizzes

There is more work to do on properly tracking links so I can separate their stats and see clearly which ones are working. I need to learn how to share my links without them getting deleted.

    Day 6:

Install SNAP to distribute my links to social media sites
Create my own groups and profiles to integrate with SNAP
Do initial actions on my social profiles to create natural engagement before I post links
    Create more quizzes

Today is Sunday, so I want to take some time off, but, before I do that I want to create at least 1 quiz on the game niche + do the technical work that on the SNAP plugin that I will use to share links about my posts. Additionally, I will start doing some posts, comments, and browsing from the social profiles I created so I can share my links without looking too spammy.

Added one more quiz about games
Worked on engagement of my social media and profiles to keep them 'organic'

Sunday was lazy, but I still did some work, mostly on social media. The plan is to keep accounts I created active on those groups I plan to post my links. To avoid getting banned right away I am making them act similar to what real users would do.

    Day 7:

    Create couple quizzes
    Install push notifications plugin
Do media engagement - without posting links yet

Monday is pretty loaded, though, once I am finished I will spend 2-3 hours to create more quizzes and do some social media engagement work so I can post the links tomorrow and see how the traffic drips. I've mastered Quizé plugin and can create quizzes pretty fast, but I am looking to purchase the Import/Export addon for it so I can create quizzes via Excel .csv - this should speed up process even more.

Created more social media engagement on the accounts I created
Posted my quiz links to the groups and pages I created
    Configured OneSignal plugin

I did a lot of work to prepare my profiles/accounts for posting links without getting banned. I did some relevant engagement on the subreddits I am going to make posts to and did the same with Facebookg groups and game related forums.

    Day 8:

    Create more quizzes
    Share links to my quizzes
    Track analytics from my links
Check revenue performance with Hooligan Media

I am going to share my links today, so to have a proper tracking I added each link into URL builder and placed parameters according to the quiz source (where I share the link), strategy I am using on the quiz, and the quiz name.

Once I share the link I will track its performance on the Google analytics and will make notes such as traffic quantity that I got, it's quality, geography, pageviews, bounce rate etc. Once I get the initial data I will make plans towards sources that perform the best.

    Yesterday:

I didn't get the results I hoped for - my main traffic from coming from the quiz link I shared on Reddit, at one point I had over dozen concurrent users, but it was quickly taken down. My other links on facebook groups and forum stayed, but brought much less traffic as expected. The good thing, I still have some traffic today from my links yesterday.

The results are 176 users with 18.2 pages per visit with 3,203 pageviews
The total requests are 17,245 with $1.2 CPM

    Revenue: $19.21

    Day 9:

I will create more quizzes today based on the results I got yesterday, some quizzes performed better than the others, so I will create more quizzes about the same game, with the same settings, and with the same amount of questions (15).

The social media profiles need more work as I plan to share more links so they have to act natural to avoid getting domain blacklisted. I will try to get some free domains today that I can 301 redirect to my quiz site, so if they get blacklisted my main domain stays live.

    Total investment: $32.12
    Total revenue: $23.16

Nearly there with getting back my investment, still a long way to reach my goal.

52 day to go, and I'm feeling excited!

Do your quizzes follow any themes. For instance, if I go to your site can I click a category, let's say "Sports" and be taken to all sports quizzes, or are they all lumped together?

Looks like you are off to a good start with monetization. I would really focus on some social media, a facebook page might be a good place to start.

    Well done

    Yesterday:

Created two quizzes as planned. I did not shared any links to avoid spamming. While I do want to have tons of traffic on my site I want to do it the right way so I don't have to deal with bad reputation for my domain.

I studies some techniques to drive traffic from social media that I can apply for my situation, ideally, avoiding getting banned and domain blocked. I continued with engagement and natural behavior on my social media accounts so they can post links without being too spammy.

There was little traffic yesterday from the links I already shared:

I got 43 visits, 19.3 pages per visit 829 pageviews total resulting in 3,668 impressions, $0.9CPM and $3.21 revenue.

    Day 10:

Add 2 more short quizzes, I want to test shorter versions as well. I will continue sharing links today after I do some non-link sharing activity. I will research on how can automate the social media activity process as 'natural engagement' takes a lot of time.

    Total investment: $32.12
    Total revenue: $26.37

Just checked my results for yesterday:

GA 213 visits - 17.3 pages per visit - 3,684 pageviews in total
    Hooligan Media - 17,462 ad requests - 0.9% CTR - $1,14 CPM - 84.27% Viewability - $19.61 Revenue

    https://imgur.com/bgC8vUc

I shared few links to the smaller subreddits I didn't interact with before, as a result my links weren't deleted right away and in fact they're still live! While traffic volumes weren't great the traffic dripped through a day. My forum links brought 10x less traffic, but they are more safer in terms of staying live.

The results so far are pretty good and I reached my first goal - get back my investment. My next goal is to generate revenue to pay for the hosting over the upcoming months.

I also added two more quizzes.

    Day 11:

Today I will work on engagement of my social media accounts and I won't be posting any links. I will do some research on personality quizzes as I only worked on trivia as of now. Personality quizzes seem to have a higher chance of getting viral. This weekend I will work on sharing more links and getting more traffic.

    Total investment: $32.12
    Total revenue: $45.98
    Total profit: $13.86

Yesterday wasn't much exciting and I wanted to have Friday evening for myself. I got some traffic from my links yesterday, but it was insignificant, just about 30 visits, the revenue for yesterday was $2.81 which is kind of impressive. I created 2 quizzes and started working on a personality quiz.

Personality quizzes is not something I have experience with, so I decided to take an extra day to finish. I worked on my social media engagement with no link.

    Day 12:

I have some offline errands to do, but once I'm home I am going to work more on engagement + finish my personalty quiz. No link sharing today, but I will work in that Monday.

    Yesterday:

I spent yesterday to create and perfect my Personality quiz. While Trivia quizzes are pretty straightforward and easy to create, the Personality quizzes are something different and take time to create something interesting. Researched few dozen quizzes before I started my own, this process is new for me. Personality quizzes tend to go viral, which is a bit harder with trivia, so the final goal is to get 'viral buzz'.

Worked on social media engagement of my profiles to keep up with the natural activity as I will be sharing links on Monday. I want to keep a good ratio between informational posts/simple engagement and posting links.

    Day 13:

Will be working today on creating couple more trivia quizzes and doing some research for the next personality quiz. I will prepare everything for sharing my links tomorrow and will put all the details in the doc so i can properly track performance, e.g. the link, its parameters, where it was shared, and what performance traffic had, and what revenue it brought.

    Yesterday:

Worked on creating more quizzes - I want the site to be updated daily and follow the content plan I created. I did more engagement on social media accounts to warm them up before sharing quizzes on Monday.

    Day 14:

The were no links shared over the past few days to prepare accounts for today (Monday).
I plan to share a bunch of links to Reddit, Facebook, and a few game-related forums and I have prepared everything for it.

The plan is to make $100, or more today from the social media traffic!

There will be 7 quizzes that I will be sharing today.
The 4 quizzes on strategy 4 (no strategy) but 3 other, shorter, quizzes are on strategies 1 (Hard) & 3 (Easy).

For those unfamiliar with Quizé - The plugin has built-in strategies that you can apply to your quizzes. Strategy 1 - Hard Mode - is when user returns to the beginning of the quiz - question one, if he provides wrong answer to any of the questions. Strategy 2 - Medium Difficulty - doesn't let user go to the next question if he doesn't provide correct answer; and Strategy 3 - Easy Mode- shuffles all incorrect answers in the end of the quiz, so the user has to answer them to finish the quiz.

By returning visits back or not letting to proceed further you make users view more pages and more pages result in more ad impressions, and more impressions result in the higher revenue from those extra ad impressions.

Therefore I prepared my quizzes in the manner so the users would enjoy playing quizzes even if they have to return a couple of times. That't the whole idea.

While quizzes with no strategy have 15 to 20 questions, the shorter quizzes will run on Hard and Medium strategy where the user returns to the very beginning if the answer is incorrect and where the answers shuffled at the end.

The strategy 1 (Hard) quiz will only have 10 questions, where the last 3 questions would be very hard, and I expect to get between 25 - 30 pageviews per visit.

The strategy 3 (Easy) quizzes will have 10 questions with Congratulations & Wrong Answer pages - I expect to get 15-20 pageviews per visit.

The strategy 4 quizzes will have both Congratulations & Wrong answer pages, so I expect between 20 - 30 pageviews per visit.

The result for yesterday is - $34.61 which is still amazing. Admins on subreddits were pretty quick to take my links down, but 3 of my links stayed through the day and brought decent amount of traffic - 402 visits in total.

The inconsistent traffic (the last two days had no visits) resulted in CPM dropping to $0.91. The average pageviews per visit grew to 22, which is a great result.

To get the targeted revenue I need to make sure that shared links to my quizzes stay longer, so my posts should look more natural. Probably it is too obvious that I look for traffic, but I am not a great redditor, just learning.

    Day 15:

I will practice sharing links on reddit today as well, but I won't be pushing a bunch of quizzes at the same time to stay low.

I will work on facebook & forums as well, however reddit is the priority since it can bring lots of traffic immediately.

The revenue for yesterday was pretty good: $18.32
The quiz I have shared yesterday went viral and created a lot of buzz that brought a lot of comments and discussion - the quiz was about guessing what's on the image and providing the correct answer.

    The revenue is based on:

    Visits: 256
    Pageviews: 3,784
    Requests: 17,786
    CPM: $1.03

Considering I did 70% less work and got 50% of revenue than a day before when I pushed too hard - the result is very good. Unlike simple knowledge quizzes this had a pinch of mystery as users weren't sure what is the correct answer even after choosing it.

    Day 16:

Today I am going to focus on creating similar quizzes, using the same mystery moment, but using a different content. No quizzes will be shared today, but I will work on natural engagement.

    I made $126.75 revenue!

Two of many subreddits I posted in brought over 1,500 users and I got over 2k users in total. Users generated almost 40 pageviews and brought over 170k ad requests which resulted in great revenue.

At one point I had to make droplet adjustment to withhold concurrent users as the site was becoming slow. The quizzes brought crazy discussion and arguments in comments which resulted in lots of traffic. Some users were angry, but this is part of working with reddit.

The CPM was a bit lower - $0.71, I think it is related to the sudden spike of traffic. I am looking to stabilize daily traffic and get CPMs closer to $2 or higher. Another HM user said he has CPM of $3.4 on his quiz site, with daily revenue over $100 from SEO traffic. I am going to look into buying backlinks.

Mods didn't remove my links, but I removed them myself so I can use them again.

    Day 18:

Today I will not be sharing quizzes and I will dedicate today to creating new personality quizzes that I am looking to promote next week and see how they perform. I will dig deeper into my analytics as I want to understand my performance yesterday better.

I will keep working on the engagement of my profiles to keep natural activity, as it seem to finally work and my links weren't taken down right away, I assume this is because my accounts got credibility on those sources.

First off congratulations on hitting the target and passing it ! You may have to consider upgrading your site. If traffic continues to slow it up, you will begin missing sales.

Good luck and thanks for sharing the information.

Thank you! My First goal is to make back investment and generate revenue to pay the bills of the upcoming month. I think I already hit that, but still too far away from $10,000 revenue per moths, which is my major (not final) goal.

Yes, I made some server improvements so it can withhold more concurrent traffic. The best part of this business is that I don't miss or make any sales, I simply make revenue when users having fun and playing my quizzes. The quizzes are surrounded by ads, the plugin make sure the ads are visible, but not annoying to the user as higher visibility brings higher revenue. I provide free fun and getting paid for ad impressions, similar to those banners on the soccer field.

    Yesterday:

I created some more content that I am going to test - personality quizzes in auto and game niche, which are the main niches of my site. Personality quizzes tend to go viral, so I tried to be as creative as possible and trigger users to click 'share'.

The dripping traffic from my forum & facebook links brought $13.25 revenue. I am going to try to find more links like this as unlike Reddit it doesn't give traffic spike, but it does spread traffic through the time, few clicks each day. Thousands of links like this can bring thousands of users daily, so I need to think on strategy creating those, while I keep working on reddit.

    Day 19:

Today is Sunday, so I will have a little rest, but I will finish some personality quizzes I started yesterday. I will be sharing links next time on Tuesday, so I will do some preparations for that and try to make a list of new places to post links and test traffic performance.

The plan for the upcoming week is to earn double of what I made this week.

    Yesterday:

Completed personality quizzes that were unfinished and found some places to share them.
I had some time for myself, as it was Sunday, but I did my usual quiz-related errands and I worked a bit on keeping natural activities on my social media profiles. The good news is that none of my accounts were banned yet, so I assume I on the right path of keeping activity to link share ratio.

    Day 20:

Today I am going to keep the natural activity on the accounts as I plan to do another push tomorrow and share a lot of links with the same goal to make over $100. The goal for the whole week is to make more revenue than I made last week.

In addition to what has already worked, I am going to test personality quizzes that I was working on as this is something I don;t have much experience with, but I believe one good quiz can perform way better than Trivia. The difference between personality & trivia is that you can pass personality quiz multiple times and have different result each time, so I hope I will have some percentage of users doing that.

Meanwhile, I have 76 users who subscribed to my push notifications, which is awesome!

    Yesterday:

I have prepared a bunch of quizzes to be shared and created a new personality quiz. I did a lot of research on personality quizzes since this is not my strength, found some quizzes that went most viral and tried to duplicate the idea with my content (about cars).

I worked a lot on the natural activity as this seems to give a good result and my links end up staying long and performing better. I got some ideas on how I can automate the process of activity and link sharing.

    Day 20:

Tuesday is a day of sharing links! I have to work on specific schedule of when and what gets posted, but Tuesday seems to be a good day (better than Monday).

I have a good dozen of quizzes that performed well in the past and I am going to use them again, however, with a little twist - the quizzes will be shared on a different subreddit to avoid same content issues (even though the last links were shared a week ago I don't want to look like a spammer).

The new quizzes I created will be shared with bunch of variations as in addition to checking the quiz content there could be a better performance on a different strategy applied to the quiz, so I am going to test few versions.

The Personality quizzes will go a completely different places, this is something I don't have experience with, but I got an idea on how to make them viral.

While Reddit would be the main traffic source, I will also work on a large list of groups and forums to post links as those drip good traffic over time. The goal is to get over 2,500 visits today and over $100 in revenue

    Yesterday:

I made over $137.86 in revenue like it was planned. There were dozens of links shared, some were taken down, but most stayed which resulted in 2,983 users visiting my site. The personality quizzes didn't work as great as expected, but they did have some shared. I need to work on the virality of the quizzes so they could get shared more.

The server updates I did last time worked nice and withheld over 250 concurrent users without slowing down the site load. The push notifications brought over 40 new subscribers and I am thinking on getting the email collector addon for quize plugin.

The Hooligan media dashboard has updated dashboard today that is showing breakdown by the units, the interstitial ad unit CPM is $6, the CPM for other units is $0.47, making average CPM over $3 which is awesome. I bet the rate could be better if the traffic to the site was constant, but while it is fluctuates it is what it is.

The HM support told me they are adding the geo, and utm support too, so it would be great to track my UTM results and see how wich link that I shared performed and I can plan and work only on those links and places that bring most revenue.

    Day 21:

I will only be working on natural activity on the social media, no links to be shared. Accounts should be ready to start sharing new links on Friday, so they have to look and act natural for a couple of days.

While this is all great and I am happy with the result I am thinking that I can hire someone to perform the most time consuming tasks like content creation and keeping natural activity on the accounts. This will help me to expand the process, share more links, have constant traffic to the site, and make more revenue.

There is no clear plan as of now, and I am happy with the results, but I don't want to stuck here. While $100 per day is good, $100 per minute is better, so let's aim to that. I will do research to find out what would be needed to implement the plan.

Dripping traffic from links I shared a day before brought $17.11 in revenue! This is great as I literally did nothing for it to come, I just didn't delete all the links I shared the day before. While I think it is still a good idea to delete links some hours after they were shared, leaving some may result in additional traffic.

Worked more on personality quizzes - they take longer time, but if they get a lot of shares they can bring more traffic than trivia. I want to create something that will go viral!

The rest of the work was dedicated to keeping accounts active and preparing them for Friday. I'll be sharing a lot of links so I created more social media accounts to keep 1 account - 1 link/quiz shared per day. I share over 30 links, so more accounts needed to not look spammy.

I did my research on how to 'automate' (delegate) the process: VA cost is about $300 per month - 8 hours a day - not sure if I need that much time, maybe hourly rate in this case would be better, but even this amount is doable if I continue making revenue/profit the same way I do now. I spoke to someone who creates quiz content and might outsource that as well. The most time consuming process is keeping natural activity on the accounts, but delegating all processes can increase my results as I can create and share much more.

    Day 22:

I am preparing everything for tomorrow - a lot of quizzes shared, so more natural activity today including the new accounts I created. I will finish personality quizzes I started yesterday - I want to have more of those and test their performance. Mostly I will repeat what I did yesterday.

The plan for Friday is $150+ in revenue.

    Yesterday:

The traffic continued dripping and I had more visitors yesterday from the links I shared the day before and in total I made $6.03 revenue from it. This is amazing, as this means the traffic will continue coming in even without sharing quizzes.

I dedicated whole day yesterday to prepare everything for today: quizzes, domains, links (utm's), places to share etc. I am glad I am running my excel work-plan where I make notes of what I share, where, what results I got, and plan for next shares. There is a lot of information that comes in small bits and plan makes it put all together and have clarity of what is going on.

I did rough budget calculation on the budget that I would need to delegate the process:

Virtual Assistant - $350 per month (40 hours a week)
Content - $300 per month (20 quizzes per month)
    Miscellaneous - $100 per month

    Total: $750

I added $50-$100 for each point, I think it can be at around $500, but I like to have some extra budget just in case.

This would help me to delegate the most time consuming processes such as social media activity, while I can dedicate time for doing the same and have more, or take care of the most important ports such as links shargin.

    Day 23:

Today is the last day of the month, so it's important to make as much money as possible today. Hooligan Media pays on the NET30, so this means whatever I made this month and whatever revenue I will make today will be released June 1st - I plan to make $200 today or more.

Fingers crossed and I am feeling excited about today!

I made $209.53 revenue yesterday which is a bit over the goal! Most of the revenue came from the Guess the car quiz and the PUBG quiz - both performed really well and brought over 50% revenue. The car quiz had a lot of comments about its controversial featured image, the PUBG simply worked well because it has a lot of online users. My other and previously shared quizzes contributed to the rest of the revenue.

I am going to push more on the game quizzes as those are the most popular subreddits and users do not seem to hesitate to click on the link. They complain a lot of about ads and they argue about everything, but it seems that reddit is place where many people have sour emotions, which doesn't affect the revenue.

211,409 ad requests with average CPM of $0.97.

    Day 24:

I found popular subreddits about particular game, so today I am going to create few trivia and personality quizzes about that specific game. I will work on my social media presence a bit today, but just a little bit as I want to have some time off. It's a good weekend!

I was wondering. These quizzes, is there a database of questions and images or is this something you have to provide on your own.

Also what is the load time of the site and pages

    Thanks

There is no database but the plugin offers 10 quizzes created and uploaded to your site with images for you for $150. You can ask them on live chat on their site quizeplugin. com

The load time is fast, but if you have 300 concurrent users playing quizzes you need to have a strong hosting.

    The Revenue: $29.33

For the past two days traffic continued bringing $29.33 dollars. Most traffic came from forums, the rest came from facebook, almost nothing came from Reddit.

Here's my observation of social media platform traffic performance:

    Forum Pros:

    Links almost don't get deleted
Links continue dripping traffic through time
    Works as backlink seo signal

    Forum Cons:

May not bring a lot of traffic

    Facebook Pros:

    Many groups to post to
    Can bring immediate traffic
Can drip traffic during multiple days

    Facebook Cons:

    Domain can get shadowed
    Easy to get banned
Won't result in thousands of concurrent users

    Reddit Pros:

    Immediate traffic
    Lots of traffic
    Mostly USA traffic
    Mostly Desktop traffic

    Reddit Cons:

    Links get deleted very quickly
Requires a lot of activity to look natural
Links do not drip a lot of traffic and fade out quickly
Lots of traffic may require additional server configuration
    Domain/user/post can get shadowed

    Day 26:

I am going to create just 1 quiz today, do a lot of activity on the accounts, and other preparations for tomorrow (sharing links again).

They were shared, but didn't go viral, I was only able to pull because created and shared more quizzes then the last time.

There were 567 more users, the other stats were about the same. Great thing - I was able to get some much better results from one of the game-related forums I post on. It seems that the forum shares require better description than reddit, or facebook, while on facebook it is important to have a good picture.

    Day 28:

I am going to lay low with my social media accounts for today and will only keep natural activity. I am going to work more on personality quizzes as those take more time and I still wasn't able to find something that went viral.

I want to look at the Reddit services and books to see what can be done to improve my current situation.

The Google analytics stats are 57,784 pageviews with 21 pageviews per visit and 2,751 visits.

The rates went up, but while I shared more links and more quizzes I didn't get a lot more traffic. One of the reason is the performance on the newly shared quizzes and the places where they were shared. Each share that I make needs some adjustment to better fit the place to bring a better result.

While I am still happy with the result I am a bit disappointed that I didn't make the number or more than I planned. The next goal for the next week is $500 per single day of sharing, but on Tuesday I need to hit the over $300 goal.

The ebook I am reading has some points that I am going to start working on and hopefully I can reach my goal.

    Day 31:

I am going to work on the accounts social media activity, but I also need more accounts and more content so I can have traffic coming from as many sources as possible.

Create More Quizzes > Share More Links > Get More Traffic = Get Higher Revenue

While I do believe than one quiz can go viral and bring thousands of dollars per single day I am going to start with an easier approach and aim for quantity. I analyze the performance of my links and quizzes via UTM and make necessary adjustments to see if I can get better performance and maybe virality.

Over this three days (Sat-Sun-Mon) I am going to prepare everything to get $300+ on Tuesday.

While it was Sunday I spend the whole day working on my site creating some new trivia and personality quizzes. For the Tuesday goal that I set $300 - I need to share more content, thus I need to share it into more groups, so I spent a lot of time doing that.

More social accounts were created, and all the old accounts had natural a activity on the subreddits, facebook groups, and forums so they won't look spammy when sharing quizzes.

I did some research for other sources of traffic like Telegram, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and other special media and communication platforms. I have no idea how to use them, but I believe I can get traffic from there so I did some research on that.

    Day 33:

Today I am going to do more work a lot on the social media activity, It has to be clean so I can share a lot of links tomorrow and stay below the radar. I am going to get couple more domains to mask my main for the new places just in case.

I will finish few quizzes that I started yesterday. I have updated my doc with the links I am going to hit on tomorrow. I realized that the planning doc I created helps to save a lot of time when sharing my links and utilise time more efficiently. Before that I was spending hours sharing my links as I had no plan what goes where and from which account which resulted in low performance and bans of the accounts. Though, bans is not something that I face a lot, I need to keep it at minimum.

I created my revenue doc so I can properly track daily revenue on both main days when I share quizzes and dripping traffic that comes days after that. It gives me some visual idea and it looks inspiring and motivating for myself.

First off great to see you are up to day 33 already and making steady progress. I see you mention Instagram. Gary Vee has posted a lot of information about Instagram. Not sure if this helps but he has a video. Called the 1.80 challenge this might help you get some ideas. This smells like trouble... anytime you start gaming the system, it has a tendency of getting you in trouble.

Maybe not so prevalent where you live but one of the things in the news in the States is how and why someone like Facebook is tracking not only where you ARE at the time of a facebook visit, but all of the places you go afterwards. So thinking you are masking your "main", is a falsehood.

The same is true with Instagram, Google, snapchat etc. you are not going to be getting away with anything, so its not worth the time and effort. PLUS it mitigates any amount of branding you might be doing... which sounds minimal and maybe something you should be looking into.

The reality is people like to take these quiz's. so knowing where to go to take one on any number of subjects might actually work in your favor.

You are right now stuck in the today aspect... new quiz and track traffic today and for the next few. In theory some of these should have some longevity... meaning shared socially for weeks and months at a time. I would suggest this is a strategy you need to work on, and that strategy is "Branding" being the goto place to find quiz's that can be shared.

Thanks for the response. While it sounds negative you got some good points. First I want to point that if I would be looking at thing in a negative way like you look at them I wouldn't be starting any of the businesses that I run and I would be sweeping streets. Even sweeping streets could be challenging, as someone can sweep them better than you, competition and trouble is everywhere. Accepting this as a normality of everyday life is what gets you going.

All the platforms trying to track you and crack on spammers, you are correct and there is nothing new in this. I do keep under the radar when I create and keep natural activity on my accounts. While I do have multiple accounts I don't have hundreds, which doesn't raise a red flag. If it start to bring problems I will create new accounts, using some sophisticated methods.

I do not need to 'get away' with anything as I am not doing anything crazy and I hit on multiple sources and niches, if one goes down, there is another one. While I do all of this I work on creating my brand and in addition to all the groups and subreddits where I share I also created and share on my own channels and I try to drive traffic there by making crossposts. Slowly but it grows. I also have the push signal that also have users that subscribed. Additionally, all those links eventually will start working as a SEO signals and some of the keywords are already moving towards the 1st.

I don't feel that I am stuck, I do feel that in order to expand I will need to do more tasks and for that I will need to hire a VA, and this is why I working on getting initial budget for that. I am not planning to manually share quizzes forever, I am planning to do this until I create own community around my site and when I can afford buying traffic to monetize. In 2-3 month this should be here already and I can move closer to the $10,000 profit per month.

Since I have a lot of new social media accounts I dedicated extra hours to keep natural activity on them and get them ready to share links to quizzes today. It takes a lot of time time and I keep creating new accounts, but it works very well when it comes to sharing quizzes.

I finished and prepared all the new quizzes - I still hope to get viral effect on my personality quizzes but I will be sharing a lot of trivia as well. I have also created duplicates of the quizzes on a different strategies, so I can test performance and pick the one that brings most revenue.

    Day 34:

Today is the day and the goal is to make $300 or more. To get that I created more quizzes, prepared more places where they will go to, and I created more accounts.

It will take hours to just share all the content that I prepared, so I am going to start as soon as I post this.

Fingers crossed I will be able to make my goal.

    Revenue - $319.25!

I received 3x-4x traffic, one of the posts received 800 upvotes so I was expecting a little higher revenue, but I am still very happy to hit my goal.

Not sure why exactly but few accounts were banned, surprisingly they weren't new accounts and had a good activity history. The ebook I was reading contributed to the result - it is amazing how smaller things can positively affect everything and bring much higher result.

The longer quizzes resulted in 6+ pages per visit, this means that if users are into the quiz they can go through a very long one without getting bored. Name all the heroes' type of quiz seems to be a good idea as users don't leave when there are a lot of questions.

The facebook too brought few hundred users but it is hard to measure revenue by source and I can only guess based on google analytics, I think it has worst performance, but with time I hope to grow my page and presence there, so no matter what I am going to keep working there.

    Day 35:

I need to relax today, no quizzes creation, no quiz sharing, just natural activity on the accounts. Tuesdays and Fridays are good days to share and I have enough time in between to prepare everything, so the next sharing is on Friday

I need to replace and create extra accounts for Friday, but I plan to purchase number of accounts to replace next month or have VA to work on their creation. Natural activity is taking time, but creating also takes time, so does sharing quizzes.

Going to read more about snapchat, instrgam, telegram and other platforms. I read you can get a lot traffic from there, but I don't use any of those so I have no understanding on how to do that.

    This is a good journey!

Revenue for yesterday $29.13 and it's $1,617.68 in total.
My first payment from Hooligan Media for April should come to $620.21 and this means that I have enough budget to invest back and purchase some things and delegate some of the tasks.

The budget will be reinvested back and spent towards virtual assistance who will take care of the most time consuming process - keeping natural activity on social media accounts. Whatever will be left will go towards software and services. I do not have a clear plan as of now, but in the next two weeks I will come up with exact list of where will the money go to and for which purpose.I also think on purchasing Email Collector & Social Share addon for Quize, Checking the multi-account management services/software, as well as reddit related services.

    Day 36:

I am going to have a lay-low day and going to only work on the accounts activity. I am going to create 2 more quizzes. I need to do more testing. Tomorrow I am going to do the sharing again with the same goal of $300 and I have already started working on the scheduling plan.

Revenue for yesterday $7.88. The more shares you do, the more traffic will drip over the next couple days. I still delete quizzes from reddit, but I do not do that as soon as I used to and I delete when GA shows that traffic from UTM's completely faded. This is where URL builder and UTM comes handy and helps me squeeze more revenue. Reddit traffic fades within a day in most cases, but the other links give much less volumes, but keep sending traffic for next 3-5 days.

I did all the usual steps to do the necessary preparations for today such as accounts activity etc.

    Day 37:

The plan is to make $300 or over and I will be following the same plan and steps that I did on Tuesday, but I will be making small changes like accounts that I post from as well as I will be sharing different quizzes (in the same niche).

Fingers crossed and I am feeling excited!

I made a total of $333.59 yesterday! Most of the revenue came from the Audio quiz that was very popular on reddit yesterday. The quiz attracted over hundred comments and brought most of the traffic to the site. It is a type of the quiz where you choose answer based on what you heard on the record. I found audio quiz example on another site and adapted for my car niche - now I got idea how I can adjust it for the game niche.

My CPM rate seems to be a bit better this time and I had a little less traffic, which confirms that constant traffic daily even if not too big positively affects rates. Another thing is that users had to listen the record and spent more time on the page, this seem to trigger more impressions becuase of the ad refresh. I assume where I was getting 1 impression for the ad I was getting 2 or 3 depending on the user because they had to spent longer time on the page.

    Day 38:

I am going to relax today and I am going to go out too, but before I do that I will do my usual natural activity on the social media and I will keep digging into the Telegram, Snapchat, and other platforms. If someone knows a good source to learn please share.

While I am very excited about my journey, yesterday I found something truly amazing on another forum. The user shared his earnings and he made nearly $30,000 in one week. This is very inspiring for me, because he also uses a quiz site. He works with the crypto ad network and like my creates quizzes on Quize plugin, so this means I can be doing the same or similar things. We work on the same software and create quizzes for our sites.

The Revenue: $19.37! I feel very excited for the revenue that comes in on the non-share day, one of the success steps that I see is the revenue that comes by itself. It is not too far judging by the results I am getting.

I did a lot of work on my social media accounts and registered new accounts. I also created few accounts for Telegram, Snapchat, TikTok and I created an instagram. While I still not sure how to properly get traffic from there I will be working on those sources and creating my presence there. Once I get a clear plan on getting traffic I will have some accounts to work with already.

    Day 39:

Lazy sunday, but I have to work on both social media accounts and I want to create some variants of the audio quiz I created. I thin I can apply exact same idea for other niches and if it performs the same way I can make my revenue to go up to $500 or more.

I am preparing everything for Tuesday-Quizday. The goal is to get $500 using my new quiz ideas.

Hey, good work. It's really encouraging and even I'm thinking of starting one but I have few questions:

      1. Do you use just Reddit, FB & Twitter, or some other sites as well? If yes then could you please share it with me?
      2. Does posting on the forum really works? Most of the forums are basically to exchange ideas or get some info so if you're some of your content there won't someone make an exact copy of your site. Also again if you could share those forum lists then it would be really helpful.
      3. Did Hooligan Media pay you?

      Thank you!

        1. I also post on different forums in my niche such as game/auto/movie-related forums.
        2. I share on forums asking to suggest which answer is correct or similar 'twists', I do not say this is my site. This makes users go through the quiz and then comment on the correct answer. I also try to make it not very obvious to create a discussion so that when one will say X the other user will say Y.

Also, I was reading about Quize plugin and I was confused about which strategy should I use from the 4 strategies.

I should be sharing more quizzes on different forums as those shares bring continuous traffic, even if not in large quantities. The revenue for yesterday resulted in $4.79 which is purely from forum traffic.

I installed Search Console to check my queries positions and to have some idea of my site's organic presence. I got some initial keyword positions from SEMRush as well.

I kept my accounts active yesterday and did some research on other social media sites, I also had some time for myself to recharge for the coming week.

    Day 40:

Tomorrow is a BIG day - Quiz-Shareday, I will be working on creating new audio quizzes today, the last one performed really well. The action plan is pretty much the same, but I will use new quizzes (not for all shares). Once I finish creating new quizzes I will work natural activity as usual.

The rest of the day I spent doing usual natural activity on the social media account to keep them real and ready for sharing.

    Day 41:

Today is the quiz-share day and the plan is to make $500 or more. I have personal doubts about the goal for today for a simple reason - I didn't create a lot of new materials and I would have to share some of the old, but I do hope that I will have extra good performance on the audio quizzes.

The revenue is $303.82! This is an awesome result considering I faced multiple bans and posts being deleted. I hoped for multiple places to perform, and they did, but if quizzes stayed longer without being deleted I am sure that I would get the $500 goal.

While looking at the GA the best traffic performance and user behavior came from audio quizzes as users stayed couple minutes longer increasing overall time per visit. There is no specifics on that, but according to what Hooligan told me - ad that stays longer on the page tends to have higher CPM rates because they have better visibility and higher chance of the click. Another thing is that when user spends long time on the page this triggers ad refresh meaning I can get extra impressions or ad requests counted which will result in higher revenue. This is exciting as I can create more 'expensive' content.

This type of quiz also attracts many comments and users discuss and argue creating a buzz, which results in a good traffic volumes.

    Day 42:

Because I had accounts deleted I have to create bunch more accounts to replace them and create some extra for the future. I am going to spend a lot of time today on keeping the natural activity and I will try to increase the 10 to 1 ratio (posts to link share) by doing extra work today.

I will work on getting more audio quizzes as it takes a lot of time to create a good one, but they perform really well.

I got some ideas on what I am going to do with other platforms and I will slowly start implementing that, but main goal for today is maximum natural activity as possible and strategizing for Friday.

The forum links brought $23.97 dollars, which seems to be usual and normal for forums. While they never bring lots of immediate traffic, they bring dripping traffic over the days. The bad part is you cannot delete forum links, so you are limited to a few quizzes, but the good part is that link may work as SEO signal and drips traffic that brings revenue.

Two more audio quizzes were created, but because they take a lot of time I want to create new Trivia & Personality quizzes. While they are simpler to create, they can have the same virality effect, and yes, probably they won't have as high performance as audio quizzes as time on page would be less, but I would be able to pull more pageviews (some of my current getting over 25 pageviews per visit).

Did a lot of natural activity on the social media, set up new accounts, and opened channels on telegram, snapchat, and tiktok accounts.

    Day 43:

Going to create more content to be shared tomorrow. The goal is $500 revenue in a single day.
I will be sharing as much quizzes as possible (but not more than one link per same page/source/group). I targeted some other game-related subreddits, I did not played those games, but information is available, so I am going to create content based off what I found and read about that. I will be using the wikipedia quiz creation method for this.

There is still some traffic coming, and the revenue for yesterday is $7.15. I was able to finish everything I planned for yesterday and also spent couple extra hours creating more audio-quizzes that seem to have the best performance.

The most necessary part of keeping the accounts active and natural, so I also worked on getting higher karma on my newer accounts, and did similar activity on forums and facebook groups where I am posting as well.

I prepared the list of quizzes and links to be shared with their UTMs and added to my sharing plan. Planning makes it easy to share and provides order of actions and gives clarity for analytics.

    Day 44:

Today's goal is to make $500 or more in revenue. While this seems to be a high number without having constant traffic I made a list of actions that shown best results and proven to be working:

I created more content (quizzes) - as more and newer content will attract more and new traffic
I created list of old and new places to share - as the more places has your link the more eyes will see it and the more clicks it will bring
I created list of previously best performing quizzes that will be shared along with the new quizzes
I created new audio quizzes that have higher performance (and better monetization) because they keep users longer on the page
I am going to share links on own social media channels to bring the small following I was able to build by now
I am going to publish some of the newly created quizzes today as new post sends out push-notification to a nearly 200 subscribers

I believe the plan should bring enough traffic to bring $500 in revenue even if the quizzes won't go viral or won't perform better than usual as I am going to share over 70 quizzes (some of which are repeated quizzes that will be shared to a different place).

Revenue: $427.51 - less than planned but still a good result for s single day of work.
Everything went well, I guess a little more links shared would result in the over $500 revenue and I will be working on that for Tuesday share day.

The revenue and google stats look like this:

    Normal ads:
    Revenue: $312.08
    Requests: 362,732
    CTR: 1.03%
    CPM: 0.87
    Viewability: 85.94%

    HM Interstitial:
    Revenue: $115.43
    Requests: 17,325
    CTR: 4.32%
    CPM: 6.7
    Viewability: 97.3%

Most of the traffic came from the larger subreddits and there were no bans this time, the smaller subreddits didn't have much engagement with my posts and didn't bring much traffic to quizzes. Facebook performed very well on one of the quizzes this time and result in a few hundred users. forums performed the same way as usual but I see traffic from there in my GA real time statistics.

    Day 45:

I worked on creating a content - I had few ideas for trivia quizzes that I am going to test on a 'tricky' niche and if it works well I will also hit the personality and maybe create an audio quiz on the same niche.

    Day 47:

I am going to continue working on content creation today and social media accounts today. Tomorrow's plan is $500 and to make that happen I need a lot of content and warmed accounts to post from. I will also continue activity tomorrow morning before I will post the links so the accounts would look like just extra active on a certain day. Hopefully, this will help newer accounts to stay out of the radar.

I also noticed that my calendar/days that I post here are not correct, so today you can see the day # and the days to go adjusted to a correct number according to the updated calendar. June 3rd would be the last day of the this part of the journey.

Revenue: $3.84 - according to google analytics is from the returning traffic that returns to check if we have any updates. I think when millions of people will go through the site there will be number of subscribers that will generate constant and consistent traffic to the site. One day there will be no need to share quizzes or advertise because of community around the site, but I will still be doing that (with the help of the team that I will build) and will dedicate part of the revenue towards that.

I worked till 3 am on the site content and I feel tired right now, but I did everything I planned and I believe that I did enough to hit the goal of $500. It's not just quantity, but quality, so I spent hours trying to create and perfect new content. I will still be sharing a lot of older quizzes too.

    Day 51:

Today is the Quiz-Share day and I am going to make $500 (at least this is my goal) by sharing bunch of quizzes, old and new ones that I just created. I took my audio quiz to a new level going to test today completely different, but very crowded niche.

If this works out, I am going to expand more on this niche, but if not, I'll stick to what i am good at - cars and games.

Revenue: $538.62! This is so far the highest revenue I made in a single day. I had a ban on the forum, but reddit surprisingly had no bands. Again, reddit brought most of the traffic, but this time I had new source from adult subreddits for which I specifically created quizzes. While I did work on the adult niche quizzes and posted them to the adult subredits, the actual quizzes had no adult content so it was completely safe. I won't be going into the exact details of the quizzes, but I had personality quizzes related to the porn stars and audio quizzes....which were particularly popular .

It was funny to create them, and it was funny to play for the users! I think i created something new, I still want to laugh. I am still going through statistics and analytics to measure, but to finalize - working with adult niche while remaining on the safe side is a good idea, adult has so much traffic!

    Day 52:

Todays plan is to fully study yesterday's performance and revenue, see what brought the most and can be improved. The goal for Friday is to make $1,000 per day! I don't have a clear plan on how to double, but I think that adding new niche that is overcrowded, and sharing more quizzes can make it work. Setting higher goals is only way to move forwards. It takes a lot of time to just share the links, and it takes even more to plan and prepare everything. I will try to calculate steps for $1k.

Meanwhile, I am back to the usual plan on keeping accounts active, and like last time I will try to keep engagement and natural activity on my own posts.

    Yesterday:

Revenue: $36.19 - I kept my activity on facebook and forums on my posts and this drove more traffic. I will continue to do so the next day as this is still counts as a natural activity and it brings traffic and revenue on the day where I don't share anything.

I kept activity on reddit and currently in the process of getting more content and links to be shared on Friday. Because adult niche performed really well on reddit I am looking for a similar stuff on facebook and forums, but while I can find groups on facebook related to that, forums are a different game here.

    Day 52:

Today I will keep creating content for the new niche and I will keep natural activity. I will get off my own posts to make it as healthy as possible and will engage in other discussions.

June is nearly there, so is my first payment. I am excited to get to the next level and finally hire help.

    Yesterday:

With the help of dripping traffic and returning traffic from my push notifications I was able to make $19.24 in revenue for yesterday. Because I posted bunch of new quizzes that I created OneSignal sent many notifications to those who already subscrbide and this resulted in a couple hundred users - which is quite unexpected. I guess this has something to do with my activities on last quiz-share-day.

Most of the day was dedicated to content creation rather than keeping natural activities on social media. I still kept my accounts active, but mostly on Reddit as its more strict in content to links posting ratio.

I worked on the plan to make $1,000 and scheduled everything to be shared. I based my plan on the calculations and revenue I was able to generate per UTM in my previous shares. While I do not have the exact revenue per UTM i have data on the traffic I received per UTM and revenue per that day, so I do rough calculations based on the amount of traffic.

    Day 54:

Friday - share day and today I aim at $1,000 to make.
I will spend the whole day sharing links, this will be a short update, but I might post something in the evening.

    Yesterday:

Revenue: $613.54 - much less that I planned but a very good result still.
I got banned on the adult subreddits pretty soon, which was unexpected. The links didn't stay though the day but lasted between 20 minutes and 3 hours, so I was able to get the result, but not what expected. This is still good result, but I need to push harder to get the goal of $1k per single day of shares.
I am glad that payment is coming next week so I can start with the help of virtual assistant and this will help me to create more content and share it.

    Day 55:

I had a long evening and night, I just woke up to have a breakfast and I am going back again. Once I wake up I will do analysis of what performed and I am going to continue with natural activities on social media and I will work on creating content.

Revenue: $70.14 - I think this is the largest sum I earned on the non-share day. I had some traffic during the day, starting working on the quizzes in the evening and posting them which triggered my push notifications. Unexpectedly it works, but I didn't think that it would before as I never signup for something like this.

I had a relaxed evening I mostly worked on the content and did very little on the accounts as I didn't feel well during the day, still, I did some work and there was a decent revenue.

    Day 56:

Today I have to do perform what I didn't do yesterday, so I need to push a lot of the social media activity. I have couple other plans on looking for new niches as weill as I will do some work on my other social medias where I plan to roll out soon.

Revenue: $23.74 - again from returning traffic and from keeping engagements on my share-posts. I did a lot of social media activity, including my new social media platforms. I have created new trivia quizzes, they are fast and easy to create. I didn't work on new audio quizzes, but I have another idea for it. I worked on my analytics to measure performance over the last two shares and I have a plan for posting on Tuesday.

    Day 57:

I am going to work today on new audio quiz, it is a game related quiz made for specific game, users would have to name the character based on his voice. The game has lots of content so the quiz could be long, and if I can double pages and have similar performance to what I had before - I think I can make $1,000.

The plan for tomorrow is $1000!

    Hey Rosario,

You are doing a superb job, thanks for posting! Wonderful consistency too. These are qualities of a person bred for success. I would love to know what keeps you motivated to push on, create new accounts where others were banned, and doing all this with full trust that Hooligan will pay you.

If I may ask, do you have difficulty getting traffic from brand-new social sites? People who have no idea who you are ... do they click your links anyway? Because that would prove to people who have a mindset of "this or that doesn't work anymore" that it really does.

    Thanks again.

      Sam.

      Thanks for kind words!
Revenue is what keeps me motivating, especially now, when I have established plan that is working and can scale. Quizzes is fun to work with, you either educating yourself while creating them or enjoying working with content that you like.

Quize makes monetization process very easy - I simply filled all the ad slots and i don't think about it anymore. Creating content is pretty easy - quize comes with instructions and best practices so you only need to choose niche. The process is easy and smooth, so as long as you have time there is nothing to put you down here.

Hooligan Media has better reviews and stars than Adsense, so I see no reason not to trust them, plus they are new on the market and not as greedy as other networks based on the higher CPM rates then other networks report. They also have a high ranks on the networks sites and large partners, I have high hopes to grow with them.

My main source from very beginning was reddit because it has thousands of live users that are fairly easy to bring to the site. While Facebook & forums may also have similar amounts of live users, you will never get as many clicks as you would from reddit by simply posting a link. I do have trouble with other social networks, but this is simply because I never used them and don't know how to navigate them. I am in the process of learning and believe that all social media sites can chip in more traffic to my site. I not just post links, but I give some description. For example you post to r/autos and ask "What car is #7? Cadillac or Chevy?" - users will click and go through the 7 questions (14-15 pages) to let you know the reply. But I make a twist and make picture #7 very hard, so when one user says Cadillac the other will argue that it is Chevy, while third one will start calling Chevrolet dealer and ask to comment - this what makes them viral.

Revenue: $3.82 - good! no days without revenue, even when I don't push anything.
Yesterday i worked on my content and created new audio quiz, which took most of the day and the rest I spent on keeping activity up getting accounts naturally active before the share day.

I did calculations of my revenue:

    Total Revenue for May: $3,493.90
My first payment for April (to be received): $620.21

The numbers are exciting and if everything goes smooth I can have a good investment to put back into the site. I should receive payment this week and this is very exciting.

    Day 58:

Tuesday-Quiz Share Day, the goal stays the same $1,000 until I reach it.

I have already started posting my links, I figured I'd start earlier as it takes a lot of time to post links. Yes, there is less activity in the morning, but there is a higher chance to get more traffic considering links stay up. For the new quiz I created I also found a forum based on that specific game and it has lots of traffic. If my account won't get banned (it shouldn't I warmed it up by engaging a lot of posts) it should bring good revenue from there.

    Fingers crossed!

    Yesterday:

Revenue: $673.13 - nowhere near my set goal, but can't say I'm not happy. The audio quiz did really good, the rest quizzes didn't have same performance as when they were posted the first time, most of the revenue came because I share a lot of quizzes through the day.

What I learned is when you keep activity on the quiz thread after it was posted it brings more traffic and attention. This most important for subreddits that have 5k-6k live users, it will drive so much traffic. At the same time, you never know how it will perform, so if you focus on single link and don't share others you may get stuck. I try to post as many links as I could and then I check the analytics and keep activity on some of them where I can.

With the help of virtual assistant I would be able to do both sharing many links and keeping them active. I am thinking maybe I will get more then one.

    Day 59:

Today I will work on creating more audio quizzes. They keep users much longer and bring more impressions so I am going to have the whole category of audio quizzes on the site. I will try to create 2-3 new audio quizzes each week, 3-5 trivia quizzes each week, and 1-2 personality quizzes.

I am still in the process of doing analytics of yesterdays performance, but I think it's pretty clear I need to create and share more content and then I need to keep my engagement and activity on my own posts.

I spoke with a few people on Upwork for VA's, the payment from hooligan should arrive this week, once it is here I will do a test to see if we fit.

    Yesterday:

Revenue: $43.81 - as usual I kept activity on the threads I opened on quiz-share day and it resulted in nice revenue. I was expecting about $70, I think it is related to the particular niche and quiz performance. This is not bad and still a good result for a day when no quizzes shared.

I created two more audio quizzes and I researched more ideas for the quiz in the music niche, i think I should try something obvious too. I have worked a lot on activity on my other social media platforms and tomorrow I will be posting there too!

I got a message from subreddit manager where I post each week and they asked me to create quiz for them. The subreddit doesn't has 150-200 live users in the peak time as it's not main subreddit of the game, BUT i think this is awesome and don't have to be afraid of my posts banned on there.

    Day 60:

Today I am going to work on personality quizzes and I will create them to accompany my audio quizzes - I will interlink them at the end of the quiz on the final page. The result I hope to get is more pageviews, impressions, and time per visit, some users will continue from Quiz 1 to Quiz 2. If this works, from 10% to 30% visitors would have longer engagement with the site and should bring extra 10% to 30% revenue. This is a theory and as of now that I am putting into test.

After I done with quizzes I will spend the rest of the day on social media activity. I am at the very end of my first period, tomorrow is the last day! The goal for tomorrow is $1000 in a single day.

Wow! I can say that this has been a very fun read - probably the most interesting journey I have read through. I love to see people venturing into new things (or old things with new twists!). May your hard work produce the fruit you deserve. You've taught me a few important lessons.

Also it's so cool that those subreddit managers are requesting quizzes from you. That's a plus for your posts.

Aside from the quiz plugin and the website, have you incurred any other significant expenses?

    Thanks and keep it up!

The expenses right now is the hosting bill which is around $60. I am going to hire a VA that is approximately $300 per month. I didn't get one yet, but I will using the revenue from my first hooligan payment. There will be about $300 left which I might also use to hire additional help or to invest in something to boost performance. I would like to outsource creating quizzes but it seems to be expensive for quality content.

    Yesterday:

I made $18.47 revenue yesterday by keeping account activity on my own threads, but also some returning and push traffic complimented to that. That made me thinking that I can take forums to the next level with investing a little bit of money on sticky threads that can stay live in the top of of the forums and potentially bring more traffic and traffic through periods of times. I have also did my research on the paid instagram shoutouts that could bring more traffic.

The most important thing here is not lose your head over paid things that would spent the budget but won't bring the result, so I want to be very careful with this and take time before jumping in.

I created the personality quizzes to accompany my audio quizzes as I planned and I am hoping they will bring the necessary performance boost to bring the $1,000 goal or at least get me closer to it.

    Day 61:

Today's goal is to make $1,000 revenue in a single day. I could be wrong but it looks like the highest activity on reddit is afternoon and later, so I want to start posting a little later today to see if this bring a different results. My thought is that if post doesn't pick up in the morning because of less users it won't perform as good throughout the day so maybe posting it a little later could bring better results even if it stays live less time.

There are many moving parts in the process and each can be adjusted and perfected, so I am going to focus on that while I have a bit more free time with the help of hired VA.

Today I am setting new period of 3 month - 90 days that will end September 4th and the new goal of $10,000 per month. With my current earnings I would need to increase what I do 2x-3x times which seems doable.

The sharing plan for today is ready and today is the first day of the second part of the journey!

Sure, a VA will definitely help, and the profit margin is good so far. Let us know when Hooligan Media pays out - although there doesn't seem to be any reason why they shouldn't. Adsense is the one company I'm wary of - they once banned me for "suspicious activity" on my website of which I have no clue how it happened... without explanation or chances of appeal.

Revenue: $744.61! This is the highest revenue so far but my rates dipped a bit down to $0.48 and to the $6.14 for interstitial. I was told I am going to receive new tags with the breakdown by ad units so I will have better picture of the performance by the ad unit.

I had over 7k users on the site with average 24 pageviews per visit, but when checking performance per UTMs for accompanying quizzes that I created had pageviews between 35 and 40! This means that it is a good idea to create additional quizzes and provide them at the end of the original.

In other words, adding part II and part III of the quiz will improve pageviews as part of the traffic will continue to play. It could be whole sets of quizzes or it could be trivia and then personality quiz.

I also think that right time for posting also complimented to the revenue as even a couple links going down they will still grab 10x more people on the time when subreddit is at its peak. Part of the revenue came from forums, while it is smaller, it is still performing very well in comparison with facebook these days, but I am not a huge fan of facebook and somehow i find posting to reddit easier.

Because i started sharing links later in the day I didn't delete any links yesterday and let them stay through the night. I see small traffic coming from certain links but I will start cleaning links today. I am interested to see if I had any better result from keeping links live longer.

    Day 62:

Today I am going to spend on keeping accounts activity through a part of the day, but the other part I am going to dedicate to creating more quizzes to accompany my current quizzes and I will start interlinking them on their final pages.

Interesting... but the part I find most interesting is the commitment, the resilience. Which makes me wonder, were you actually enthusiastic about the quizzes niche before this? Is this something you have always liked, or it was just the channel you found convenient for you to use for monetization?

    Good job anyhow.

Does the number of quizzes/ links you put up in a day matter in relation to the number of traffic you get? Like the more the quizzes the more the pageviews? I understand that you have to alternate between active days and no-action days to keep your account activity natural but still.

Wasn't into quizzes and this is my first journey. I read another journey and simply followed the same steps - once you see revenue on the dashboard its not hard to keep yourself motivated!

The more links/quizzes you share the more traffic you will get, but it is hard to predict how much. Quantity of your quizzes has no effect on pageviews, length of the quiz has. Quiz with more questions obviously pull more pageviews. I do not create quizzes below 10 questions but I do have quizzes with up to 50 questions. Quize plugin has option for the wrong & correct answers page, this mean that 10 question quiz would be 22 pageviews to finish - 1 welcome page + 10 questions - 10 answer pages + 1 final page.

Wooow, it's awesome that they paid you! That's great, I'm happy for you.
By the time this thing begins to show signs of saturation (quizzes all over Reddit), you'll be hundreds of miles ahead.

Much earlier in your journey, you had said that users were complaining about the ads. Why did they? Did you make them like pop-ups which can appear randomly and interrupt their engagement with the quiz?

Yeah your idea is super cool but where are you going to get CPM advertisers from without hundreds of thousands of monthly impressions? You know most of these guys aren't gonna let you come in unless you're 500,000 to 1,000,000 impressions of month minimum.

    Yesterday:

Revenue: $9.25! Daily revenues not high but keep growing - there's some organic traffic coming in from a game-related keyword, as well as I get traffic from push notification when I post new quizzes. Even without sharing quizzes I am able to bring some traffic and revenue - I am happy with this result.

As planned I worked on the content and natural activity to get everything ready for quiz sharing. I have proceeded with hiring VA for the trial period of 1 week, but I am not going to use him just now, but for Friday. I wrote some guidance and instructions for the VA and I will spent some time training him before I use him for the quiz-sharing to avoid issues. We agreed on $75 trial for the first week limited by the hours and he will have to use the tracker, so it could potentially be a little less.

The main purpose would be to do everything I do from quiz creation to keep account activity and sharing, but realistically, I want to have separate people for content creation and sharing as you can't be perfect at both.

    Day 65:

I am going to start sharing quizzes in a couple of hours, meanwhile I will do some activity to warm up accounts. I have already got in touch with the subreddit mod and he liked the quiz, so hopefully, this will help me to get higher revenue.

VA is going to do some minor help while I work on the sharing process, mainly keeping activity and whatever else I might need help with.

The goal for today is $1000! Fingers crossed!

    87 day to go!

Oh by the way, did you create the extra domains for redirecting? Did you find them useful ? After those few months, have you confirmed that there is a risk of getting your domain blacklisted at a site like Reddit?

Also, I understand you initially had a 2 month hosting trial and a cheap domain, how much did you spend on SSL?

    Thanks and godspeed!
    Thanks.

      Thanks.

P I created few .design domains and I google from time to time for a free domain, sometime services like porkbun have promotions with free domains. There is definitely a risk, this is confirmed, but if you read, most subreddits are fine with sharing links as long as your account doesn't look spammy. 10 posts to 1 link is a good ratio to keep your account looking natural and not spammy. I didn't pay for SSL it's free.

Revenue: $819.59 - this was great, not the goal I planned, but very close to it. I am happy, but a little frustrated as previous goals came easily. While I understand that I put the goal higher, I also do a lot of work, hopefully, I can pull it this friday with the help of the VA.

I started posting links to my quizzes in the afternoon when the subreddits started to gain more active users, this seems to be a good trick as I notice more concurrent users on the site. This also seem to get better engagement on the subreddit itself, when more users comment at the same time this brings longer discussion that I think also affect the number of users who click and land on the site.

The admin I worked with got my quiz crossposted to other subreddits so I had more traffic than initially expected for that quiz. I didn't ask yet, but if I can get this kind of help again I would be able to make much more than I planned, which makes me think I can approach other subreddit admins and get their support.

My rates went up a little bit, as I had about the same traffic quantity, but made a bit more. One of my older accounts got shadowed and the link it shared was deleted too, but I was able to get good traffic from there. Probably if it won't be taken down I'd have my goal as it has like 3k users live.

I was able to increase my pageviews on certain quizzes to 27-30 by posting quizzes with Part II's at the end. This strategy is pretty strong, I will be making 10 question quizzes using the strategy 1-3 so I know I will pull at least 15 on them.

    Day 66:

Today I am going to purchase some add-ons for the plugin - I want to start working on collecting emails/making shares and I want to speed up the process a bit with import/export add-on. My VA is already doing some work on the accounts, which is very pleasing as we can speed up this process and make more activity through the day.

I am going to work on the analytics and make points on performance, and then based on those points I am going to work more on the content. Right now I am going to work on the content myself, while VA will focus on the other aspects.

    86 day to go!

You are doing a superb job.

Question:- any specific reason why you chose Digital ocean?

How do you host a website with DO? I haven't found straightforward tutorials on that. I visited their website and found the processes a bit technical... droplets etc... what plan did you pick?

Also, how did you get Quizé Plugin for $29.99? The price I find is $69.99 at the following site: https://quizeplugin.com/
    Is that the official website?

    Thanks!

Thanks! I worked with Digital Ocean before, but main reason to go with it is the $100 or 60 days free trial. Basically I started for free. DO is unmanaged hosting so if you don't have technical skills at least some minimal, you might want to go with a different host. It is good as you can customize it for your needs and it can also scale if you have more load on the site.

The version I got for $29.99 is now seems to be free and the $69.99 version has all the add-ons. Yes, that's the site I got it from.

    Yesterday:

Revenue: $63.28 - good result considering all the work been done by VA! I wrote instructions on how to keep activity and trained him on Reddit to make posts without triggering red flags. Yesterday went okay! It's too early to say if he's good or not because I was checking every step, but I believe every person can be trained to do that, it's not a rocket science.

In between training and monitoring I worked on more content and created two more Trivia quizzes.

    Day 67:

I am going to create more quizzes while VA keeps the activity on the accounts. Today he's going to spent half of his time on forums and Facebook because yesterday he only worked on Reddit.

I have plan for the content today Trivia - Personality - Audio interlinked in between. I am also going to work on the audio music quiz to try tomorrow.

The goal for tomorrow is $1,000 and I hope I can finally do it!

    Thank you Rosario.

I'm surprised that you've been using the basic plugin without the extra add-ons and it's been working well!
I see that there is an option to buy the add-ons separately (1. Email Collector &Content Locker, 2. Import & Export Add-n and 3. Advanced Ads Add-on - which allows you to test custom ads for specific quizzes).
Does the package you received have any of those add-ons? Because it seems you might need that one last add-on specifically in the long run. Not sure though.

I'm thinking of implementing this in the Art/design/ drawing niche since this is my profession and I have a crowd in mind who would be very interested in art-based quizzes.
Maybe even include tiny perks at the end of some drawing quizzes... thinking wildly here, but I'm looking for something that I would enjoy as opposed to copying everyone else...
I'm also interested in vintage stuff and I know there is an audience for that too.

..that is, if I'm lucky to be accepted by HM. Although I'm not looking for huge figures myself, lol.Just some side income perhaps, while doing fun stuff.

I'm also wondering, do you have a big number of Reddit accounts?

Thanks a lot for the inspiration.

Its a plugin like any other but it has special features for the monetization that other plugins didn't so I chose Quize over other and it brings a good result. While other plugins have things like ajax and fast refresh they don't have features necessary for advertising as they built with only quiz ideas in mind. If you check Google on google page score you will see that it doesn't pass own score system, which means that best is not always best for anything. While refreshing page could be a good and fast for the visitor, taking an extra second to ensure the ad is loaded brings you more revenue.

I got the just the plugin initially as my goal was to make investment below $100 if possible for everything including hosting and domain and to make revenue to cover the costs before my initial period is ended. The naked version has all the necessary ad features for monetization so I didn't buy any add-ons. I bought the other add-ons this week but didn't so much work on them I plan to go over in the weekend and plan how I can use them to improve monetization next week.

In terms of content - there are so much quizzes so it would be hard not to copy someone or be completely different, but there are some twists you can use to make your content unique. For example I got an idea about sound quizzes, which is basically a simple trivia quiz, but the fact that you have to listen makes it entertaining. The same twist can be applied to any topic and I am sure art is a great niche (you just gave me an idea!).

I have few dozen of reddit accounts and I use pretty simple technic to grow them - I register new account (do not register dozen a day, make 1-2) and I post into r/celebs subreddits where it is easy to get upvotes and karma.

Yes I agree about the twists. Possibilities are endless. I'll use this method to also expose my work, which to me is real important.

    Yesterday:

Revenue: $32.85 - I have a good feeling about the increasing revenue! The work does seem to be easier with the help of VA even though I have to correct him from time to time. The good part is that for the couple days since I got him I was able to do more work and increase tasks approx 30%, this is all considering he is still learning.

I didn't do any account activity myself but gave everything to VA. There were some issues with the posts but he's learning fast and he had few own aged Reddit accounts that he is going to use for posting. Reddit is what scares me the most when it comes to outsourcing, but I think it is going good.

I worked on 4 new quizzes as much as I could to have new content to share and I created a music audio quiz.

    Day 68:

Today is the day! We will start posting in an hour - I created a separate schedule for the VA and hopefully it will go smooth. We're going to share to much more subreddits today including small that I neglected before because I didn't have time for them.

Todays goal is $1,000 and I hope I can finally make it!

Thanks for the entertaining read. It's good you have stuck to your goals. I built a new site in March and it was hard sticking by it while it was sandboxed but in the last couple of days traffic has surged.

Being reliant on Reddit is a worry so to sleep better at night maybe you could start thinking about a longer term goal of your site(s) being destinations in themselves rather than having to rely on mods not permabanning your sites. Also I've often wondered this but can you not just open new subreddits to help promote your own links? It seems easy to get subscribers but the challenge could be finding niches without decent subreddits.

Really this is all down to the eggs and baskets thing. I was too reliant on AdSense so I swapped them out for affiliate offers. I also managed to get banned by PayPal which wasn't a great loss in itself but for the bigger problem that all my affiliate offers paid me through it! Also FB ban sharing of my main site's link on their site (due to their dodgy content filtering - my site is clean) so it shows what can happen. I don't care about FB because the latest Apple products will have social sharing built into the OS making FB redundant.

On hosting, I was thinking that for hosting quizzes you should probably focus on speed. A host that has a CDN that puts copies of your site closer to the end users could be a good thing to have.

For anyone else reading this, quizzes and interactive features are a great thing to have on your site because they lower bounce rate, increase time spent on site and can lead to a lot of organic backlinks. If you can't code there are form creator plugins you can use.

I'm not tech-savvy so I may not understand everything you wrote about CDN. Myself I use Godaddy for hosting, not sure if they have what you suggested above, although I don't have a quiz site yet.

I focus on reddit as a source that has tons of live and active traffic, but not on the source of a constant traffic. I am making my revenue now which is getting me closer to my goal, but it does involve a lot of manual work, still it brings good profit. With the payments I am planning to hire more people and invest in tools and SEO so I wouldn;t be relying much on reddit, but I do not plan taking it off as a traffic source.

I am not familiar with affiliate business, I think I can make much more with display ads because they pay for the impression even if there is no conversion, this is a win-win situation, but it's a matter of choice, you can say the same about display ads and you would be right.

Speed is important, but it;s not the most important thing. If I would be going for speed I would go for ajax quiz, but ajax quiz would not bring any revenue as quiz would load before the ads do (they load after and take a bit extra time), so user would refresh the page before seeing and ad. The optimal solution here would be fast enough page to load content but slow enough to load the ads.

    Yesterday:

Revenue: $1062.48 - finally I reached the goal! I had about the same amount of traffic a bit over 7k users with 24 average pageviews overall, and 27-35 pageviews on 'interlinked' quizzes as well as strategy 1 quizzes. My interstitial CPM dropped a bit to $5.68, but I read someone else got $28 cpm from HM interstitials.

We didn't have a lot of new materials to share so we used duplicates that I prepared before with strategies 1-3, and some of those quizzes brought extra pageviews, which resulted in more ad impressions and revenue. I did have a good performance on the new audio quiz, it was similar to what I had on my audio-car quiz which makes me think the performance is not about the niche, but it's about the quiz structure (audio) itself. Users like to listen and it is entertaining to play.

Sharing on reddit with VA was much easier, but I did prepare list of instructions for every subreddit, profile, and share. We posted on forums and facebook too, and I hope that we can hit facebook more with VA's help.

    Day 69:

I am working on the analytics now while VA is keeping activity on our FB & forum threads. In a couple hours I will help him with account activity and show how I work on the new accounts. After that I will work on creating content and I plan to create 10 quizzes by Tuesday or at least as much as I can.

The goal for Tuesday is to make $1,500 and I need to make a plan for content and it's distribution - there's a lot of things to work on.

There is still training needed but I think VA is doing good and helping me a lot with the tasks I didn't want to spend time on. Mistakes were minor so the trial period went well and I am going to continue working with him. Theoretically I can get more VAs once I get more budget and I can outsource every step of the process from creation to sharing.

    Day 70:

I have music-related quiz ideas which I am going to work on today. I am using Campatasia to make audio clips and I put funny GIF which makes the whole quiz look better! I feel I am making more quality content with time.

Yes, but the main focus is to keep accounts live without getting banned, then we wouldn't need too many new accounts. The goal is to push traffic manually only to the moment until the site ranks and becomes popular by itself, then we can stop working on accounts.

Revenue: $43.18! I created audio trivia and personality quiz in the music niche of 15 and 20 questions long and interlinked them. Both quizzes will be shared separately, I want to measure how many people continue to trivia after personality and to personality after trivia. I will conduct few tests like this to determine which quiz should go first and which would be the part II.

VA was working on the social media activity but he had a short day so I had to spend time working on accounts myself and I didn't create as many quizzes as I wanted to.

I did some research on the upvoting services and I am looking to test it this week. If that's something that can boost traffic I can purchase them as an ongoing service.

    Day 71:

I am working on new trivia quizzes right now, audio/personality quizzes take a lot of time and while they bring better results I need more content to share something new tomorrow. I also create quiz for the subreddit I collaborated with last time, I hope to get the same assistance with crossposting (and getting more traffic).

Great job sir. Do your links still get deleted on Reddit? I hope you succeed to create some relationship with the mods in order to have your links stick more?

This has been a very interesting read - although I'm not experienced with these things, I can't help wondering why HM pays better that Adsense... seems like it's quite an established company after all.

Those threads that I did for the specific subreddit stay live, as it would be weird in the eyes of the mod for me to delete it, but I delete all the rest otherwise it would be clear that accounts are used to post links.

Adsense is a front of Adwords and is both CPM & CPC based, Hooligan is Google AdX + Other PMPs (private marketplace) doing auction inbetween. Different markets compete + there is a chance to pull higher revenue because of the auction.

Revenue: $12.58 - mostly from returning and push traffic. According to Search Console the site is #9 for a game-related keyword (name+quiz) and it's bringing few clicks each day. I created 4 trivia quizzes and I did couple duplicates making it 6 new quizzes in total.

One of the quizzes is created for the subreddit I worked with, I created 25 question quiz with only wrong answer pages. I hope to get 35 pages on average for this quiz and I do hope to get it crossposted with the help of the admin to other subreddits.

The VA was trained to work with the schedule as there was minor issues last time, but I think he got it the process will go smoother.

    Day 72:

Today is the day and I plan to hit the goal of $1,500 or more. About the half of the earning I plan to make though my usual subreddits and quizzes that I already shared before, but the other part would come from the new quizzes I created both audio/trivia and personality. I am hitting many new music & celebrity related subreddit (I figured I can use music celebrity for celebrity subreddit) as well as I got a list of music forums where we going to post new content. Revenue: $871.46 - we didn't hit the goal only half of what was planned! This is a bit of a surprise but couple things didn't go well. Large subreddit took down our quiz post almost immediately and to keep account safe we didn't post another link, but this is the source that was bringing huge part of my traffic, usually between 500 and 1000 users from there. Another thing that didn't go as planned was the crossposting from the subreddit we worked with - it was just posted there, and while it did a good traffic, it's a small subreddit.

What did perform well is the music niche and my new trivia quizzes. The audio quiz did extremely well held users up to 7 minutes in total which I assume brought extra impressions and it had a good discussion.

The forums also brought good traffic, but facebook this time performed much better, probably because of the music niche being popular and having more active users. In total I got over 6,700 visits with average CPM's of 0,86 for display ads and $6.33 for the interstitial, being roughly 5% of all impressions it brought roughly 20% of revenue ($200).

Looking at everything right now and studying each link we shared as I am planning to make some adjustments.

    Day 73:

I am going to refine the strategy and come up with updated plan. While the idea is remaining the same - creating new quiz content and sharing it on social media platforms for live traffic, I am going to change how we share the content.

The plan for today is to study analytics and then as usual work on the content creation and natural activity on the accounts. VA has already started on the accounts and we're working on the plan for Friday.

Revenue: $95.19! I asked VA to work on forums & facebook groups to keep natural activity on our own threads. I create one personality quiz yesterday, but didn't work on content much as I was looking at our stats for Tuesday and thinking on what can be refined.

I am thinking to start posting links everyday but not pushing too hard and have schedule for each subreddit. Posting link to subreddit twice a week seems fine, so we can post twice a week, but have list of subreddits for every day. I am checking my performance sheet to build plan and schedule based on the performance received before.

    Day 74:

Today I am going to focus on content leaving everything else on the side as without new content it is hard to pull same results each time. I am going to push more on the music niche this time and I have list of new subreddits in the niche I didn't work with + I found plenty facebook groups.

VA is doing his things with social media and so far I am happy with the result and extra time I can spend on content and other things.

    Rosario,

7 weeks since your last post, I'm really wondering about your progress. Over $200 in a day is fantastic progress in just a month. That is pretty much your goal. It was great seeing your consistency in posting.

Consistency is what makes one to go further, I'm afraid if I skip a day I will skip another and then it would be hard to start again. Even writing daily updates is not easy, but that's what keeps motivated and works as a diary where I can check what I did that day.

    Wow this is amazing.

I joined the conversation a little late but just read through all the progress you have made and it's truly amazing.

    Keep up the excellent work!

I saw one of your earlier posts that caught my attention. It was the one where you mention seeing a post on another forum regarding a site that made $30,000 in one week.

"While I am very excited about my journey, yesterday I found something truly amazing on another forum. The user shared his earnings and he made nearly $30,000 in one week. This is very inspiring for me, because he also uses a quiz site. He works with the crypto ad network and like my creates quizzes on Quize plugin, so this means I can be doing the same or similar things. We work on the same software and create quizzes for our sites."

Could you clarify what you meant by crypto ad network? And did it mention if he also is working with HM to monetize? Do you think this is a network you could utilize to increase your traffic and earnings?

The user that I mentioned also works with HM and his crypto earnings were based on the crypto rate at that date, for some new coin. I do not think it's a $30k as of now, but still it is a good earning. I am not into crypto and it looks like users have to provide consent to use their machines to mine crypto while they browse site - so this is not something I am going to do for this project.

Revenue: $55.75! Yesterdays result a little bit higher than usual, because we kept activity on own threads. I am testing on how long threads could keep on performing and bringing revenue and if I can open new threads while my older threads are still up. Overcrowding same forum with links probably won't be a good idea, but keeping thread up by keeping activity on it before posting new lin could bring additional revenue.

Many things need to be tested to create a perfect recipe to drive more traffic. With the help of VA I have extra time to work on content and do my test, but I am going to get another VA with my next payout.

I worked on the content yesterday and I created 6 new quizzes, for music, auto, and game and i am going to create 2 more before we start posting.

    Day 75:

Today's goal is $1,500! I worked with VA to create a schedule and as usual we are going to hit Reddit, list of forums in the niche and fb groups. Most of the links will go to reddit & forums, and less on facebook.

I am going to add two more quizzes before we start sharing today...and fingers crossed I am feeling excited!

Revenue: $1,102.45! Not my goal and I was hoping to get a higher revenue because I got more traffic. $230 came from interstitial the rest from normal ads, while the interstitial rates seems to go up - my CPM is $7 the display ads rate fell down a bit and I think its related to the sudden spike of traffic as I had in total over 11k users. I am trying to work on the schedule where I can share every day or at least have more share days so there will be constant flow of traffic and stable rates.

Anyway I am happy with the result and I am looking forward to my next payout as its much bigger. I will get more help and delegate more tasks each day, hopefully this will result in constant flow of traffic without fluctuations and spikes.

The quiz sharing process went smooth yesterday and there were only issues with with one subreddit that deleted post. The music quizzes did extremely well on both music and celebrity subreddits but also forums, I will do more tests and if performance remains on the same level I will add this niche into works.

    Day 76:

I am going to work on analytics while VA works with the account activity. As usual, he is going to push more on forums today, we have few new forums we posted to. I am going to work on quiz content in music nich some more to have something new to share on Tueday and I am going to work on improving current plan.

I browsed for available reddit software, but I am afraid to use automation and get my accounts flagged. I read that it works fine, but probably I will do some more research on it before jumping in. the same with reddit upvotes - I know it works and can bring a good result, but I am afraid to get flagged.

If anybody has suggestions on the reddit bots please comment here.

I didn't check each account exclusively, but VA did a good job keeping activity on both on and off reddit, so I think everything is ready for sharing.

    Day 79:

Today is a share day, and unlike previous weeks I didn't publish my quizzes on the site in the last two days and left them as a draft. The idea was to not trigger push notifications. I am going to work on finishing a couple quizzes today that I started yesterday and when it is time (in 2-3 hours from now) I will start publishing all the quizzes and posting links at the same time. I am not sure of the result, but I assume that most of the subscribed users are the users from the subreddit.

Revenue: $1202.3 - it is a good result! Considering most of the revenue came from quizzes based on a single game/anime. The trick is that it has probably over 100 characters and a very long story, so I kept quizzes at 30 questions and one with 50 questions + I added the wrong answer page which made it over 40-50 pageviews for some users and over 10+ minutes on the visit.

The $843 revenue came from the normal display ads with the CPM of $0.64 and the rest $359.07 is the revenue from interstitial with the CPM of nearly $7. While we were able to increase the pageviews per visit to 30+ the ad requests per page has dropped for about 1 point, and the CTR is about 2%.

My CTR seems to be a bit higher over 3% not sure if that is related to a longer time on page because user have to spend few second listening to audio, or it is quiz/niche itself, but higher CTR is good.

I think audio quizzes is whats working best in terms of performance for me, even if it doesn't go very popular, though I still want to have some personality quiz that will go viral. I am going to finish that personality quiz and work on 3 more movie-trivia quizzes. I am going to get in touch with subreddit that we worked with previously to see if they are interested in more content.

Some of the quizzes were taken down by the mods, which was unexpected, because I was posting there with no problems before. Good thing, accounts weren't banned, just posts deleted. The mod I am working with has helped a lot by doing cross shares so it compensated some of the 'lost' traffic.

    Day 102:

    Day 104:

I am going to to proceed with the hire of VA today, so my social media activity and shares will be done only with VA's help. I am also going to find and hire someone to create content for me and upload it too. The plan is fully outsource manual and time consuming tasks!

I hired second VA that will long along my first one, for $75 per week he will preform all the similar tasks such as posting and keeping natural activity on the accounts. They will also create couple new accounts each day and do necessary research on new places to post.

I have also hired VA to work on quizzes, the job will be to create 3-5 quizzes each day and upload them to the site with images.

I will be doing a little bit of everything as both new VAs will need assistance with everything over the first week for sure.

The process was a bit slow as he's learning and I had to explain every step, but it is pretty straightforward and he seems to be a smart guy so I believe it will be a good work! In total we created 3 quizzes yesterday, but I hope to make 5-7 today with two pair of hands.

    Tuesday:

I had unexpected offline errands, so I didn't update in the morning as usual. It was a busy day as I had to run out in the morning and come back before the share time, if I didn't have 3 VA's it would be a disaster. Thankfully, my first va helped a lot with navigating the first two, so I will give him extra thank you at the end of the week.

    Yesterday:

Revenue: $1030.53 - I believe this is an awesome result considering I spent most of the day away from the computer and VAs worked based on the schedule that I and my first guy created. The result could be better if I could help content-creating VA with more content, but it is still very good result.

    Day 108:

I am working through the statistics now, it looks like my rates went a little bit up and I am trying to find out whether it is because of the content or specific traffic source. The plans for today is work with my new VA's so they could get to the level of my first one. Very good thing is that they all are on upwork and we can communicate together not on 3 separate chats and be on the same page.

Revenue: $1371.29 - it was a great day!! We shifted main focus from posting older quizzes to creating more content and posting it to more places and got almost the same results in terms of revenue. This means that we can do less links but with a better quality and engagement within the post. There's so many things you can do with additional hands then you can do on your own simply because it is hard to manage all the tasks.

I got over 15k traffic and I still see 5 to 10 users live on the site, the amount is slowly growing as we further in the day. Today I am going to pick a service for upvoting that we're going to test and use for our Tuesday shareday, I wonder what would be the result with an upvote boost.

Revenue: $1548.76 - we finally did! Even though it is 4 people working on the process and I got much higher expenses - it feels so good to finally reach the goal!! Thanks to the mod, we got our quizzes reposted to bunch more subreddits than we usually did and this resulted in more traffic than usual. I offered him to do it every week and probably I can pay him a bit to make it happen, waiting on his response.

The site got almost 17k users, pageviews per user were a bit lower than usual as we had a bit shorter quizzes. The average CPM for display is $0.93, but the interstitial CPM dropped to $3.3, so if that would be a usual rate I'd earn a couple hundred more. Most likely this is caused by big traffic fluctuations, but this is still an amazing result.

I got almost 20k traffic, which is the highest number of traffic the site got in a single day, my average pageviews were 19.3 per visit, which resulted in higher revenue even with a bit lower CPM, so that's good we focused on longer quizzes on the last batch. $395 came from interstitial ad alone and it's CPM grew to $4.8 which is two bucks better than the last time.

Yesterday: $219.44 - another good day of results, the revenue fully came from forums and couple facebook groups. The social issues niche attracts a number of hotheads that comment like crazy and this attracts even more traffic.

The time on page is very similar to audio quizzes, meaning this type of traffic has a different kind of behavior and brings much better performance such as time on page that results in more impressions served per user.

    Day 130:

Yes I spent countless hours doing repetitive tasks, yes, I spent a lot of time in front of the computer instead of being out with my family and friends. Yes it was very frustrating and boring at times, but the monetary value worth it! Now that I am no longer working alone and I am getting help with most of my tasks I am able to produce more content and content of a better quality, I am able to share more links and engage with them much better, and I am getting more revenue even considering additional costs such as VA weekly salary.

At this stage I believe the project is still very young and needs a lot of support to continue to live, but with all the hands and time we put into it as a team I believe the project is set on the rails and goes like a locomotive.

With the payment that I just received I am planning to hire a few more people to work on the management of the project and someone to create content + I want to hire someone to work on other social media channels as I am not doing there much and I believe I am missing.

Within the next 25 days I will try to make the project work by itself even if I am not around so it could work as a passive income.
